I have one more day to work then I am off for four days. I am not answering my phone. I have a lot of packing and preparations to make for the coming week so I will check in when I have time to breathe. Love to everyone. LInda Manthey
I had to check and I have this one. By then we will all be read to start again.Merry Christmas everyone as we rush to finish things up.
I'll look forward to starting again after the New Year. I have the original edition, but it should be the same as the later edition.
Unfortunately I do not have this one. I started reading with Eternity Springs and haven't gotten to Emily's other books yet.
I just checked on Amazon they have the Kindle book for $ 4.99 .They also have Mistletoe Mine for .99
Margaret wrote: "Unfortunately I do not have this one. I started reading with Eternity Springs and haven't gotten to Emily's other books yet."Margaret,
After Luke I have to get the next two. I hope you stay and read it with us.
Dear Group,Amazon has used copies of that series from one cent and up on paperback available, which is how I plan to buy the series. I love my ereader but since I adore all of Emily's other books and they are on my "keeper" shelf, I want the book to hold in my hand. Plus I have a group of friends that we share and swap books out with often. They are great about giving them back after they read them if I want them back so this also helps with me introducing friends to new books and authors.
Sorry I haven't been around much, its been super busy lately. I love you guys though so dont forget me and if you need to or if I am missing something important, message me with a "HEY YOU!!! GET WITH THE PROGRAM!" Message and I will be sure to look. Take care. Love you.
Happy holidays and Merry Christmas

If I purchase it "with oneclick purchasing" will it be drop shipped to my pick or will it be sent to me? I want to be able to purchase these, have them received by my pick by Christmas. Please "HELP!!!!". ThanksDesparate Santa new to technology,

Jina,
If you go to the gift exchange home page and scroll down to where the participants names are you can click on your giftee and it will show their address. Have a great night. Linda Manthey
Hi, ladies -- as you can see I dropped off the radar for a couple of days and I'm so sorry about that. Last week really kicked me around the block and I don't know when I've ever been so tired with this many days left before Christmas. I worked so many hours last week, it will help with the Christmas bills but I may need the money for vitamins!
Thank you for helping each other navigate the Elfster exchange. It's been a first experience for all of us. I am SO grateful for my gift, too! It was perfect and I can't wait to enjoy it when I'm AWAKE!
I will be checking in as often as I can but no less than once a day. My Christmas cards are late, my gifts haven't shipped...I need to bake --- and I may sleep for 48 hours the day after Christmas ... but one thing at a time and we'll all be ready by the big day.
Take care - I can't wait to start talking about those Callahan brothers!!

I am so sorry you are tired and frazzled. I have been too. Between Heather and Sarah having both been back and forth in the hospital, (don't worry, nothing more serious than Sarah's carpal tunnel of her left wrist, and over night sleep study for Heather for her Apnea and forgetting to breathe when she is sleeping) and several other things that has me like a puppy chasing my tail. I know the extra money helps but take care of yourself so it doesn't end up costing you more in the long run.
Also have you tried Rooibos Tea? It is a wonderful tea that has several health benefits. It strengthens immunity, helps with headaches and digestion, has anti aging properties when used as a pultice. It helps with colic in babies and so many other things. Its fairly reasonable on amazon. I can see you in your easy chair with your afghan and a book with a steaming cup of tea on the end table beside you. :)
I am so looking forward to getting back to our book discussions. Ive missed them! Dont feel bad about being behind. I have bought my pick her gift but I haven't gotten any other shopping done yet and as of yesterday we just put up the tree and decorations. Better late to the party than never I guess.
Thank you to everyone who helped with advice about elfster. I got my mission accomplished but still working on second part so I would love more addresses. Just message them to me. The girls have been making things again so they want to send some out.
Happy holidays and Merry Christmas,
Jina

Glad that you are able to finally get your tree up. Things will be calmer(Hopefully ) after Christmas. I am looking forward to our book discussions as well.
Merry Christmas.

I am baking today. I realized I can't do anything else until the house closes so I will carry on as normal, lol, whatever that is. We should know more tomorrow evening. I finished my Christmas cards for thoes I have address for and will mail them tomorrow. They will probably be late but that seems to be the theme this year "late". So glad I am in good company with that one. We will all make it just fine. Christmas will come no matter what we have or have not done, and we will celebrate with family and friends the joy of Christ's birth and the promise He became to us all. Merry Christmas to you all and I pray you will be blessed with the peace, love, and hope this day represents.

Thanks so much, Melinda. Where did this month go?!?!?
Thanks so much, Melinda. Where did this month go?!?!?
Hi All,It has been a few days. Working long days and trying to get things done when not working and lots of events going on. However, we had our big Christmas today with the kids and in-laws because this is the year the kids are to be with their spouses families. We alternate holidays and get thanksgiving day one year and Christmas the next. It was a lot of fun and this year for a change we are having other relatives over for lunch Christmas Day so it won't be so lonely.
I have the whole Brazod Bend series on my Kobo reader so can't wait to reread it with you all.
Hope this very busy week goes well for everyone and Paula that you get some much needed rest.

I have to admit I MIGHT be feeling just a little bit jealous -- if I wasn't so excited for you! I can't wait to see how that story unfolds!

Well, ladies - it seems that Ray and I can't make it through the holidays without some weird thing happening. Last year, I dislocated the little finger on my left hand in a spectacular slide down some wet steps -- and had surgery on it two weeks later...this year, Ray had surgery (he's done well, so no drama there) ... and then, THIS week, my face erupted in a full-blown case of some kind of dermatitis -- for no apparent reason. I look like a puffer fish and it feels like a dry, itchy, bad sunburn. I am shining brighter than Rudolph's nose. Miserable. Slept most of yesterday, thanks to Benadryl. That stuff puts me out like a light.
Last night I found out that two gifts I sent out - one to my Secret Elf and another to a friend - either were suddenly "out of stock" at Amazon (when they were in stock last week, when I ordered them) - or got delivered to the wrong address and therefore won't make it for Christmas.
My cards didn't get out on time...but at least the family gifts did.
I'm doing my baking today, in between keeping ice on my face.
I don't know about you, but I'm ready to head into a New Year.
All of this comes as no surprise to our family - they count on us to provide comic relief every. single. year.
Hope you are all doing well and enjoying your holiday moments. I'll check back in later today!

You are working too hard & it could be stress related, hope it clears up soon. I managed to get some baking done today as well, cookies for the grandchildren & sausage rolls & 'brandy' mince pies, both are a 'must' in our house at Christmas. Try & relax & enjoy your Christmas Day. Best wishes
In case I don't manage to check in tomorrow, I would like to wish all the members of this group a very Happy Christmas with your families & friends & say how much I enjoy reading what you are all up to. I'm also looking forward to our nest re-read book in January.

Paula , so sorry you are imitating Rudolph. Hope it is gone soon. The girl who checked me out at our local grocery ,was tell the lady behind me what a bad cold she had. I was thinking " What are you doing handling groceries ,please don't get me sick now." Washed my hands really good when I got home.
I will be doing my baking tomorrow along with making my eggnog .This year I will be using our own eggs, 2 of the hens are still laying everyday . I will also garlic my rib roast so it can marinade over night. I got a good harvest of garlic last summer. Now if I can just keep Wolf out of everything I will be happy.
I will try to get back if not ,Merry Christmas Everyone ! Hugs Lola
Let's give a warm welcome to Sheila, our newest member and a recent fan of Emily's! It's wonderful to add new faces and voices to our group!
Just in time for Christmas, I'm much better today, however I have spent much of the last 72 hours taking antihistamines and visiting the twilight zone. So today I will be baking - and tonight I'll make a Christmas Eve candlelit dinner for two - pop some favorite champagne and watch a heartwarming movie. I'm thinking of you all as I write this, and again am so grateful to know you. See you on the other side of Christmas!

Merry Christmas everyone! I haven't been very active lately with this group, but I try to stay caught up. I look forward to being more involved again in January.
My dearest group of friends,Merry Christmas! I hope you all have a very happy and safe Christmas! I am truly blessed to have y'all as friends this year. My girls are healthy for this holiday season and for me that is the best gift I could get. I thank my secret Santa again for the advanced copy of Reunion Pass. I am still on the 3rd chapter as I have been super busy the last couple days and haven't gotten to read. It is AWESOME so far and will give a review when I am done. Thank you for your friendship this year it has been truly a treasured gift.
With much love,
Jina

Merry Christmas to all of my ES friends! I pray your day has been filled with many of God's Blessings.
Thanks to everyone for your cheerful Christmas greetings! I hope you all had a wonderful time with your loved ones. We had a fantastic Christmas Eve - it snowed in Willits (21 miles north) - and it was my very FIRST snowy Christmas Eve ever! (Remember, I'm a southern girl...). We had a snowball fight and took dozens of pictures.
Christmas Day was very quiet - Ray was on call and got called in right after we finished unwrapping gifts and having breakfast - so I revived the Southern tradition and took a nap...a long one.
Tell us about YOUR favorite Christmas memory from this year's holiday....the good, the crazy, the funny - anything and everything!
