Thank you so much Lesley & Brenda. I'm at the frantic packing stage point right now. Once I get on the flight - I will be overjoyed! Non-stop, 10+ hours of reading time! See you ladies from the other side, so to speak!
Hi, everyone - I made it across the Atlantic uneventfully but since I have issues sleeping on public transportation of any kind, I got hit by jet lag yesterday that knocked me flat. Today I'm on the train to Nottingham so I'll reply to as many comments as I can -- and when I get to my new hotel room I'll fix up folders for the rest of the books so some of you who are reading ahead can comment. I have learned that high-speed trains make it interesting to use a laptop - they tend to bob and weave, and I've accidentally sent crazy texts to my husband twice. Beautiful English countryside though! Laters....

I'm so jealous Paula! I was just in England a couple weeks ago and I LOVED London. It is a brutal flight though so hope you're able to catch up on sleep!

Oh, Lesley, I love this country. Both my maternal and paternal ancestors were from here and I swear it feels like coming home to me. I'm in Nottingham now, and I love it. I even love the rain - something we don't get in California in the summer time at all!

Nottingham is about 1-2 hours travelling time from where we live in Lincolnshire, depending on traffic. Whereabouts do your Ancestors originate from in the UK & did they go to the USA via 'The Mayflower'?
Lesley wrote: "Paula wrote: "Lesley wrote: "Paula wrote: "Hi, everyone - I made it across the Atlantic uneventfully but since I have issues sleeping on public transportation of any kind, I got hit by jet lag yest..." Next Tuesday I'm spending a day with one of my author clients at his home in Bedford, talking book launch and social media strategy. Then it's back to Nottingham for two days, and then Birmingham for two days (there is a book signing event there for indie authors). Then one last night in London and home on the 20th. I think the jet lag going backwards might finish me off! I know where Lincolnshire is, too! My ancestors originate from Cornwall. I'm pretty sure, knowing my family, that they did not travel on the Mayflower. If anything they probably fled in the middle of the night to avoid the law! We're a rowdy bunch. Well...except for me, of course...

I think you nailed it, Lesley! It's busy but I'm loving it all. Hope you are having a wonderful week. The weather was so beautiful I spent most of it outside - so now I'm burning the almost-midnight oil again! Take care.

I've added a song to our Spotify playlist - Roads, by Chris Mann - I was listening to it yesterday and it reminded me of Sage's journey in Hummingbird Lake. Hope you enjoy it. Here's the link to the track:
https://open.spotify.com/track/1LVpgz...
The link to the entire playlist is in the Clubhouse folder, "Important Links". If you have any difficulty finding it - let me know.
Also, if there are any songs of any music genre that remind you of ANY aspect of the Eternity Springs series, and you have a spotify account - feel free to add them to our public playlist. If you don't, but would like to share a song with the group, you can copy and paste the link in the comments - or send me the name and artist and I will add it to our playlist on Spotify!
Have a great weekend, everyone.

An amazing blessing was bestowed on the group over the last 24 hours that we weren't even aware of. Apparently there was a massive "bug" that affected Goodreads and actually wiped out groups!! Goodreads was able to recover most of the damage - but our Eternity Springs group was spared the disaster. High five, everyone! This group has Celeste looking out for us! ;-)

So glad this group was not wiped out. Truly a blessing. Here's hoping the groups affected have recovered and are able to continue. Ripples in life often bring more opportunities.

Glad you like them! Roads is a very inspirational song for me. Whenever I've had to face a tough decision or deal with a stunning setback, that song gives me hope. Hope it does the same for you.
Tomorrow starts the discussion on Heartache Falls! I can't believe it!!
I'll be posting the book cover and sending out materials to bloggers so they can post their promotion for our third book in the series.
Also tomorrow, I will finalize the participation count, send it to Emily and she will award the prize -- an ARC of Heartsong Cottage!! So - 24 hours to go for the win!
If you haven't caught up to Heartache Falls yet, please don't worry. Take your time and savor the read. I loved Hummingbird Lake so much it's been hard to move on - I know I'll come back to it, though.
Take care, everyone.

Hello again! I'm back from Bedford - stayed up much too late talking book launches & promotions - but also spending time with some good friends around the supper table. I headed back on the train about 2 hours ago and I am now completely - as they say here - knackered. I've updated the header photo to reflect our next book journey. After I've had a snack, a cup of tea, and a rest I will tally the totals for the giveaway and post them after I've reviewed it all with Emily! I hope you are all having a good morning/noon/night - and will see you later for the opening thoughts on Heartache Falls.
I think a great theme song for many points in these stories is Mandisa's Overcomer. I can hear it playing when Sage is telling herself to stop wallowing in self pity and get up and get going. Love that song of strength and encouragement.

Fantastic! I'm going to add it to our Spotify playlist!
Fantastic! I'm going to add it to our Spotify playlist!
Our Eternity Springs playlist has FOUR additions --
1. Overcomer, by Mandisa (thank you, KK!) and ...
2. Always on My Mind, by Willie Nelson (this reminds me of Heartache Falls, and although many artists have done this song, I like this version the best...)
3. Remember Yesterday, by Joshua Payne (great for Heartache Falls), and
4. The Part Where You Let Go, by Hem (Heartache Falls - I'm feeling it today!)

Hello everyone -- this is my last night in the UK. I'm staying in central London and will be traveling back to San Francisco for 10 hours tomorrow. My husband has planned a nice dinner out - then I will probably sleep all the way home. I will be back online Tuesday and reply to all comments and messages then. Chelsea is listening out for you!
Also - tonight I received a very special message from one of our group members. She is reading along and the series has taken on special meaning for her. If you pray, please lift up this unnamed member and her family, as well as all of the other members of our group who may have specific needs for hope, faith and healing. Thank you.

Hi, ladies! I had a perfectly safe, smooth flight home after a wonderfully memorable stay in the UK. I hope to be back there again next year, this time with Ray.
I was up a little over 24 hours altogether so today I am very, very loopy. But I'm delighted to be home and thank you for all of your good wishes.
I finished Heartache Falls on the plane, and simply loved it.
I will be back online later today - Pacific Time - to catch up on the discussions! The husband, dog and cats are needing extra attention today and I sense a long nap in the near future!
xo

I napped for the better part of the last 24 hours and feel much better today, but Phase 2 of jet lag has set in - as per Merriam Webster ...
Full Definition of JET LAG. : a condition that is characterized by various psychological and physiological effects (as fatigue and irritability), occurs following long flight through several time zones, and probably results from disruption of circadian rhythms in the human body.
Apparently the irritability has emerged. Ray found me yelling at my iPod this morning and took my coffee away from me. LOL. He is suggesting a day in which I avoid triggers - like iPods that won't sync with the stereo system to play my "calming" music!

I just posted two new teaser photos as a 'sneak peek' for the group - they have gone out to 25 bloggers to share this week. Please feel free to pin them, share them, or just enjoy them (and I hope you do); it is such a pleasure to make these photos representing this beautiful story. xo
OK - it's time for a little housekeeping with respect to old threads/topics, and Goodreads does not make it easy - for instance, you can't combine folders or move topics around; there is no true Archive function. So what I'm going to do is rearrange the order of folders and rename them to indicate they are "archived". This means they are still available, unless the topic is "dead" or the contest/poll has ended - in which case there will be a lock on the folder.
The goal is to make it easier for you to find the hottest/latest topics and to move the ones that are less popular or never used to the bottom of the list. Deleting threads is a permanent step that I don't ever want to take, so I hope this helps. Please let me know if it does.
Have a blessed day.

There is two songs that I thought might be appropriate. One reminds me of Sage, and Rose how their "broken" but so strong to still be surviving. So the song is sung by Dolly Parton "When she flies" And the second one is "Sending Me Angels" by Delbert McClinton. I dont want to take up too much space but the words to the song are fitting about God sending "angels" into peoples life to teach them, love them etc...

These are perfect! And the best thing about playlists is ... there's always enough space for great music! Thank you, Jina! I'll add them today.

Just so you know...I will have two very, very exciting giveaways to share with you over the next few weeks, so stay tuned. The prize is going to be coveted - which is considered a Commandment violation - so I will warn you in advance. LOL.
Also, I'll be adding a new song to the Spotify list today, a country and western love song by Lonestar. I'd love to see which book you think of when you hear it. I'll post the iTunes link here:
https://itunes.apple.com/us/album/im-...
It's been a favorite of mine for a long time, and I'm very selective about my Country-Western repertoire! I heard it yesterday and thought it would fit very well on our playlist.

When I left Nebraska for North Carolina I had already met Michael ,who is now my current husband of going on 14 years, on a scouting trip I took previously to see if I could find housing and work if I moved the girls and I there. Lonestar had just released a CD with Amazed which ended up being played at our wedding but but of the most precious songs to me by them is "I've got to find you". I also love Rascal Flatts ,whose sound to me is similar to Lone star, I love "My Wish" and "God Bless the Broken Road". I so love this group!Sincerely Yours

Love the song I'm Already There! Listening to it again I pictured Sage and Colt, and then Ali and Mac and then Sarah and Cam. That song fits each couple at some point and is a great song for the whole series. All the couples struggle but at a point they figure it out and you just know their love will see them though the future. Sigh! Perfect!!

In other news, I will be traveling July 5-20th in the UK, visiting friends and doing some writing. I will be checking the group at least once a day, but not from my usual time zone so bear with me! I'll be working while on the road, and will be back at my home desk on July 21st.
