Viviana Izzo (vivianaizzo) | 4 comments Author Monica Burns tried to update her profile yesterday and received a notification stating a librarian had to. This is weird as she has a CLAIMED Goodreads Author Account. As her Marketing Manager and a GR Librarian I looked into the matter and we both see there is an unclaimed 'author' account with the same name listing 1 book with incorrect ratings as well.

I'm not sure if "merging" the accounts is what we need to do, the author would prefer to have the "unclaimed" account deleted.

Apologies if this isn't the correct thread for this request. I searched and couldn't find a thread w/ such a request.

I think that in addition to merging the claimed one needs to be edited to have the initial.

I think the name of the merged profile should be George Emery Townsend to distinguish it from all the other profiles named George Townsend on Goodreads (I've cleaned up the mess a little bit).
