last book I posted triggered the memory of this next one.

this is probably going to be spoiler heavy because I remember a lot about it / read it recently.

This one was about a boy named 'Ethan' who saw a missing picture of a boy who he thought was himself. So He went to live with what he really thought was his biological family. His 'younger' brother really didn't think 'Ethan' was really his brother who had gone missing. The younger brother was studying the punnet square in science class and he figures out that 'Ethan' couldn't his brother because this 'Ethan' did / didn't have connected ears. Soon after that real Ethan's remains were found.
