McKensie and Lara III

Marcoux blinked and frowned "yikes...Did she say she was scared or is that what you assumed? It could be a medical thing...I've heard about some girls being too small? I don't know mate I've only done it once and it wasn't that spectacular."
Lacey bit her lip "Max and I...well tried to have relations last night but as he...tried to...it hurt like badly! I pulled away saying I wasn't ready and too nervous but honestly I think something is wrong..."

Maxwell hadn't thought that it might be a medical thing, but that made sense. "She said she wasn't ready." he said honestly. "But she might just have been saying that." he admitted. Then he raised his eyebrows. "You've done it? I didn't know that." he said honestly.
Iliana chewed her lip, feeling badly for her. That must have been embarrassing and painful. "It always hurts the first time. You might just not have been expecting it." She admitted. "But there also could be another issue, a medical one. Nothing is wrong, usually. It's just the way you are, and it might make it harder to do, well, that. The doctor would be able to tell you if its something they can fix."

Marcoux chuckled lightly "yes...with my first girl who now is married I suspect, nothing that grand...I assume you haven't?" He asked curiously wondering about his friend's life.
Lacey swallowed and nodded "I want to find out...now, it's not fair that I cannot give that to him when he gives me everything..."

Maxwell nodded, smiling softly. "I never knew that about you." he admitted, shrugging. "But yeah, I haven't done it yet. Never found a girl. Footmen aren't really supposed to get into relationships." he explained. It was very warned against. As it was improper.
Iliana nodded in understanding. "Should I call up the doctor?" She asked, feeling badly for her friend. She didn't know if she'd have the same issue with Marcoux or not, and that made her nervous.

Marcoux nodded "well...maybe you'll try again and it'll work better? Maybe she was just nervous? Try again tonight?"
Lacey nodded and swallowed "please...don't let anyone know about it though...mother especially!"

Maxwell nodded, deciding that was probably a good idea. "Yeah. I'll try again. Work up to it slower, maybe. But I don't want to push or rush her into anything." He said seriously.
Iliana had already rung up the doctor, saying he should come see her asap. "I won't tell anyone." She promised. "The doctor is on his way, and should be here in a few minutes."

Marcoux nodded "good plan, now let's study these law books so that you understand how our joint account works, don't roll your eyes Im doing it too am I not?"
Lacey undressed and put a sheet over hereslf waiting for the doctor "Thanks for doing this with me Illi..."

Maxwell groaned, shaking his head. "Why do we need to understand law? Can't we just go hunting… or fishing. Or run around the manor or something? That's much more healthy than reading books!"
Iliana nodded and squeezed her hand as the doctor came in. "No problem." She explained to the doctor what they thought might be wrong, and he nodded. "I'll just take a quick peak, it doesn't take long to find out." he promised, examining her. "It looks like you do have an overly small opening, but that is easy to correct. Do you wish to proceed?" He asked.

Marcoux chickled "afterwards we'll go for a fox hunt ever been? We don't actually hurt the fox just chase it."
Lacey swallowed and nodded "how would you fix it?" She asked worriedly but trying to think about Maxwell and how much she wanted to please him and how much she wanted him.

Maxwell shook his head. "No. I've never been. But I have tacked up the horses for one, and dressed you in that fancy riding suit." he said, smiling softly. "So, if you don't kill the fox, what is the point of the hunt? Just to run around on horses, shouting?" he teased.
The doctor smiled, holding up a small surgical knife. "With a small incision." He explained. "It won't hurt much, and it won't bleed. So you'll be better than ever in only a few hours." he promised.

Marcoux laughed and nodded "pretty much, it's idiotically fun and then I keep the fox as a pet..but that's just me, you know how I love animals."
Lacey was going to pass out as she saw the knife she whimpered and looked at Illiana wondering what she should do "can't you numb it...I'm not good with pain..."

Maxwell chuckled, shaking his head. "Of course I know how much you love animals. Alright. I'll come along. And you get to keep the fox." he said, smiling.
Iliana gripped her hand tighter, trying to comfort her. The doctor nodded. "I can numb it dear, don't worry." he promised. "It'll only take a moment." he filled a syringe with the numbing agent, and injected it.

Marcoux blinked as he heard a cry come from Lacey's room, he quickly ran into the room and flushed "oh...I'm sorry..." He pushed Maxwell in.
Lacey covered her face "Max...go! Please...oh my god I feel light headed..." She couldn't be more embarrased.

Maxwell stared, not entirely sure what was going on. There was a doctor, and Iliana holding Lacey's hand… and she was naked… and the doctor was holding a knife. He paled, moving to Lacey's side. "Baby… what's he doing? Are you ok? What's wrong?" he asked, kissing her gently.
The doctor meanwhile worked on making the incision. Lacey wouldn't feel it, because the numbing agent had kicked in.

Lacey coukdnt be more humiliated she shook her head "can you take the scalpel and jam it into my chest please? Or create a hole that I can fall through?.." She whispered covering her eyes and shaking her head "i hate this..."

Maxwell shook his head, wrapping his arms around her. "No… baby. I would never kill you." He breathed, kissing her collarbone gently. "I love you too much to do that." He whispered. "I hope you know that. I love you to the ends of the earth, and that will never stop." he promised, just as the doctor sat up. "All done." he said, putting his tools away again. "Leave it alone for at least an hour, and then it should be as good as new." He smiled, waved, and left.

Lacey sighed in relief and looked at him "I was too small Max I didn't want you to know...so the doctor said it would be quick and I was scared of the pain but the needle was worse...I just wanted to make you happy...please..."

Maxwell's eyes widened in surprise. He had never expected that. She went for a surfer just to please him? "Oh, love…" He breathed. "There was no need to do anything so drastic just for me." He said seriously. "I'm happy with just having you as my fiancé." he said seriously. "I'm sorry you had to go through the humiliation of all this…"

Lacey sighed lightly and shook her head "no just Marcoux seeing me naked..." She looked at his face "I had to make it work...t doesn't hurt its actually really funny feeling down there...and now we don't have to wait...I am ready..."

Maxwell nodded, running his hands through her hair. "I'm sorry. Of all the people to walk in here, he's the best one. He's not a pervert." He promised, hoping to make her feel better. He kissed her softly, feeling so incredibly lucky to have such a loving girl. "I am extremely thankful to you, Lacey, I can't tell you how much it means to me that you went through all this, just for me." He said seriously. "I never would have told you to do this, but since you have…" he smiled, kissing her cheek. "Now we can have a nice night tonight."

Lacey nodded and smiled up at him "maybe we don't have to wait until tonight...I mean I'm like a turkey prepped and waiting for you." She teased and kissed him softly "still numb too...so it won't hurt at all..."

Maxwell looked over at Iliana. "Um. Illi, I think Lacey's alright now. You can go." Iliana blushed furiously, and nodded, smiling in embarrassment and waving awkwardly as she ran from the room and shut the door after her. Maxwell smiled softly. "A turkey, hm?" he asked, turning back to her. "I'll only agree to this if its what you want." he whispered, kissing her ear.

Lacey waved and nodded "I need you to numb my mind to forget this awful day ok?"
Marcoux was waiting outside the door and looked up flushing bright red "I didnt...See much Illi I swear I was going to pass out seeing the knife though...please don't ever have a surgery like that!"

Maxwell smiled softly and nodded. "I can do that." He promised, bending down to kiss her deeply. The next while sped by, and after, Maxwell lay contentedly beside his love, just holding her. "Are you alright?"
Iliana hugged him tightly, mortified of being in the way of Maxwell and Lacey trying to.... She shook her head. "I saw far more than I needed to. I do hope I never need a surfer like that." She admitted. "That was rather scary."

Lacey giggled too out of it to answer "can't feel a thing..." She smiled over at him "our poor traumatized friends...they will never be the same after this..."
Marcoux nodded and smiled "want to go on a fox chase? We can make the fox our sweet little pet afterwards, it's idiotically entertaining you know!"

Iliana smiled, glad for the change in topic. "I'd love to go on a fox chase!" She said honestly, thrilled to be included in this outing. "I have never kept the fox, but a pet fox sounds like quite the adventure." She admitted,

Lydia took deep breaths "I have to get changed first darling, I don't want anyone seeing me like a mess...it's just the baby, it's a bit draining but I'll be ok...as soon as our honeymoon is over I can be open about the baby."

James nodded, rubbing her shoulders gently to try and help calm her. "Alright let's go back to your room." He said, scooping her in his arms and carrying her there. He helped her get dressed, all the while insisting she rest. "If there's anything I can do to help..."

Lydia shook her head as she threw up in the chamber pit and groaned "I'll be fine...mother once had a official meeting having a fever of 139 degrees...this is nothing..."

James couldn't hold her hair back, as it was already neatly pinned up, so he just rubbed her back gently, trying to help her through this. "Are you sure you're ok to do this?" he asked, worried about her. He knew it was all just due to the pregnancy, but he didn't want her feeling like she was forced into announcing when she wasn't feeling the greatest. "I could just do it by my self if you aren't feeling up to it."

Lydia shook her head cleaning up and clearing her throat "I'm fine James...you can't make a royal proclamation on your own anyways...has to be with Royal blood." She stood and linked her arm in his "oh the makeup..." She remembered grabbing the compact and dabbing away the scars, it kind of scared her seeing him the way he used to be.

James nodded, steading her as she stood again. "Alright. But only if you're sure." He said seriously. He stood still as she suddenly grabbed makeup and started dabbing it on his face. Was this what women did everyday? It was magical stuff. It could hide anything! It could make you look like someone completely different. "thanks love. Do I look alright?" he asked.

Lydia bit her lip and nodded "you look like your old self again..." She whispered and sighed "I honestly like the scars better, this doesn't look real to me...but the kingdom needs to trust a handsome face..." She kissed him lovingly "but I'm taking it off after..."

James smiled softly, caressing her cheek with his thumb. He had forgotten that she found his real face intimidating. He wasn't sure if he should be happy or offended that she liked the scars better, but he decided on just being happy. "Thank you for helping me with this." He said seriously. "I never want to scare you." He said seriously, hoping she knew that he didn't mean to be intimidating.

Lydia smiled "you don't scare me...it's just your far too handsome, it reminds me of the day we met and I was so stunned I mixed in the eggs shells in the batter and had to start over...the scars show me my guy..my Prince...that almost gave his life to help others..."

James chuckled then. She was so cute, and he was reminded everyday how he loved her. "thank you? I think?" He bent down and kissed her deeply, taking her hand. "Shall we go make this announcement?" He asked, looking to the balcony, from where he could already hear the crowds.

Lydia nodded and pulled him outside as the fanfare sounded "good citizens, it is wonderful to see you all. I fear I do not know all your names yet but I hope to eventually. It is a joyest day for me and the Royal family "Prince Jamison Wellington has asked for my hand and I have accepted. He will be a very good King once my mother's time of ruling comes to an end."

James stepped up with her, and stood as proudly as he could beside her as she made the announcement. Everyone had gone silent when she started speaking, and he couldn't help but smile. She already could charm the people. When she finished her announcement, the crowds erupted into cheers, and the sound was enormous. James grinned. "Apparently they like us." he said, deciding to be spontaneous. He swept her into a deep kiss and was rewarded by screams from the crowd as he lifted her up again.

Lydia gasped as he dipped her and laughed kissing him deeply before being released, she waved ladylike to the crowd and smiled as their picture was being taken. She smiled at James "ready for the craziest week you have ever had?" She whispered to him still smiling and waving.

James smiled, well practiced at waiting around for pictures, so he smiled, and tried to look candid as much as possible. "Crazy week?" He repeated softly, keeping up appearances. "Bring it on." He waited for a few more seconds, before turning to head inside. The crowd was still cheering, but he wanted to leave them on the edge, a little bit in suspense. He smiled at Lydia. "You did amazing, by the way. The people love you."

Lydia smiled and dressed in her dressing gown after getting changed out of her beautiful gown and wiping the make-up off of his face "they love you too now! Being the spontaneous romantic Prince...all the single ladies are heartbroken that you are taken you know."

James changed out of his own dress clothes and into more casual ones, standing still as she wiped his face. He could see clearly now, and it was such a joy to take in the world again. He smirked then. "I'll have to dance with a couple at our wedding to keep them happy." he said, kissing her quickly. "How does dinner sound?"

Lydia turned abruptly "I think not...unless of course you don't mind me dancing with the eligible handsome bachelor princes." She said with an eyebrow raise as she let her hair down and braided it out of her face.

James smirked, "Are you jealous?" he teased, kissing her neck as he passed on the way to hanging up his dress coat. "We have to keep up appearances, remember? I wouldn't dream of dancing with someone purely for my own enjoyment." he promised. He wasn't into anyone but her.

Lydia shook her head "I refuse to let you, appearances or not I'm extremely territorial with these hormones and I want you by my side the entire wedding...clear?"

James chuckled, raising his hands in surrender. "Alright, alright!" He said, coming over to hug her. "I'll be breaking a few hearts, but I'd do it for you. As long as your mother doesn't murder me."

Lydia smiled lightly "who are you more afraid of? Me or your mother?"

Iliana sat in the hay with Marcoux, cradling one of the foxes in her arms. It was a lovely shade of deep red, and as she watched it suck on the bottle, she fell in love with it. "Can we keep them?" She asked softly, looking over at Marcoux with puppy eyes. "Please? They are so precious…"
James chewed his lip as he thought about that for a moment. "Ah… I don't know what the right answer to that question is." He finally said, shaking his head. "But you both are pretty intimidating women." he admitted.
Maxwell chuckled then, shaking his head. "I don't know about hundreds… but certainly a few." he said, sitting up again. His smile softened a little into something more serious, and he shook his head. "No. Lacey and I did not go all the way." he said honestly. "She said she was not ready, but I fear that I frightened her off." he admitted.
Iliana stepped back and frowned in confusion when she said she had something she needed to talk about. "You know you can talk to me about anything." She promised, shutting the door so no one else would hear. "What is it? Is something wrong?"
