Zach had caught the change in Olivia's attitude. "Dad... She isn't going to get hurt will she?" He asked looking at Nate with wide blue eyes Raine nodded," I know Nate." She said softly having seen the look on Olivia's face more often than not. She remembered getting the same look from Nate everyday of their high school years and up into college.
Zach nodded a little bit and looked over at Arielle," oops sorry Im still not used to having a sister." He said softly looking back at nateRaine looked at Arielle," No one is going to get hurt honey. Why don't you come here so I can dry you and get you some food?"
"Promise baby." She answered setting her hand on Arielle's head. Zach nodded," okay ill figure it out soon I hope." He replied with a small smile and then got out of the pool with Nate.
Raine was helping Zach clean up the pool and put all of the dishes into the sink. She smiled as she just watched as Zach cleaned up the best he could. She looked over at Nate came down the stairs. "Okay ill go up there now.... Good night Zach." She said kissing his cheek softly Zach smiled," Night Mama." He said softly hugging her a little bit. He looking over at Nate," okay then."
Zach smiled and nodded," alright good night dad." He said and went down to his room and went to sleep Raine was up and looked at the door hearin Olivia's knock. She opened the door and frowned," Olivia what happened?" She asked gently ushering her into the door. "Zach I want you to keep Ari with you for a little bit."
"Alright I will mom."
"I don't know sissy but you need to stay here with me until mom or dad comes and says we can go downstairs." He answered looking arts small girl Raine frowned and looked over at Nate for a second," are you sure that's what happened?"
She asked gently just like she had when Nate wouldn't tell her what really happened to him
Zach shrugged a little bit and sighed hugging her," I have no idea Ari." He answered quietly "Okay if that's what you want to go with bit when Zach comes down he's going to want to know why you are dressed the way you are."
Raine replied softly
"Well sure I guess we can go down to my room and watch it there." He answered looking down at his little sister Raine nodded a little bit," yeah alright then." she answered
Raine decided to drop it for now she went back into the kitchen to finish making the cookies she had started Zach walked down the stairs and stopped seeing how Olivia was dressed," Hey what's up?" He asked frowning a little bit
Zach frowned a little bit seeing the bruise on her cheek," why is your house that cold?"He asked," mo--- Raine is always cold or at least that's what Nate tells me."
Zach nodded a little bit," well alright then... What happened to your cheek?" He asked going to sit next to her not sure what they could do... "Well Nate has a pretty cool theater room set up and we can watch a movie."
Zach nodded as he got up and reached out to help her up too. "Well okay but I'm sure you know what Nate has better than I do."He said leading her down to the theater room
Raine laughed softly at Arielle's question and Nate's answer;" I'm sure one day when you are a very big girl you will:"
Zach looked at her as she moved away from him," okay then." He answered then nodded," Okay I will find something."He replied
Zach shrugged a little bit," Yeah I am it's still a little different." He answered putting a movie in that he found. "Do you know how to work this?" He asked

Zach was comfortable just sitting and watching the movie with her until her phone went off." What? Why?"'he asked looking at her. "It's not even almost done.. What's wrong?"'he asked pausing the movie and looking at her as he got up
Zach followed her up the stairs to see his parents watching them. He frowned a little not knowing about what Nate had gone through and how Raine had helped him thru it all. Raine looked at Nate then back at Olivia," you can trust us..." She said softly," we will help you.. I know how to help you and so does Nate." She told Olivia softly
Raine just hugged Olivia tightly," it's going to be alright sweetie." She said softly," you don't have to go home." She told her not knowing how to help answer the questions she was asking her. Raine looked at Nate for a second as she just let Olivia cry. Zach looked over at Nate for a second," dad we can help her right?" He asked looking at him as he sat down
Raine nodded slightly," Olivia calm down we won't let him touch you okay? But we do have to tell someone about your parents.. If we don't you will be forced to go back home." She said softly stroking her head and down her back Zach frowned a little by stayed silent. He hoped that Olivia would let his parents help her
Zach looked up at Nate and then nodded a little bit,"'Okay dad."He said softly while Raine gently unmatched Olivia's arms from around her," go with Zach." She told the younger girl softly. Zach out his hand out for Olivia to take
Raine looked back at Nate as soon as they were out of hearing," how could they both hit her?" She asked softly. Though she didn't have one bone in her body that would make her hit any of her children.
Zach gently led her to his room still holding his hand and only let go because she hugged him. He wrapped his arms around her gently and rested his head on hers," It's going to be fine." He whispered," I know my parents will keep you safe." Raine nodded slightly and hugged Nate tightly. "Okay you go do that while I figure out what to do with myself." She answered looking up at him
Zach just held her but then started feeling weird just standing in the middles of his huge room. He noticed how she fit against him and gently pulled her to the smallish chair he and Nate hand moved Ito his room close to his tv and game consolesRaine kissed him softly and the nodded," Okay." She answered softly kissing him again before going up the stairs
Zach just hugged her not saying anything. He just kept his arms around her and gently rubbed her back like he would if Arielle was crying Raine came back downstairs after tucking in Ari and making sure she was alright. She looked at Nate," so what's going to happen?" She asked
Zach shook his head," nope you don't look ridiculous to me." He answered as he looked at her," Yeah they are pretty good at it." He replied gently wiping away her tears. Raine nodded a little bit," Good now she shouldn't have to worry about them." She answered
Zach smiled a little bit and just held her," Well thanks." He answered softly looking at her with a small smile. He was glad she would be alright now.Raine looked over at Arielle and moved away from Nate to pick her up," It's alright baby."
Raine frowned a little bit as she held Arielle close to her," sweetheart he can't ever get to you here.. You have daddy and Zach and Patches to keep you safe." She told the small girl." Zach nodded," Alroght then... You know you can come and get me if you need to." He said softly letting her get up and watching her leave
Zach looked up from his book and then ran up the stairs," what dad?" He asked as he got to the top of the stairs
Zach nodded a little bit," Should I take mom with us too?" He asked taking his little sister from Nate and hugging her tightly. "Olivia's sleeping in the guest room." He answered ((Sorry my replies might not come very quick I'm at work ))
"Okay then." He answered then took Arielle to the garage and outside before walking down the road that Olivia had taken him down to the town," what do you want to get Ari?" He asked
Zachary looked at his little sister and shook his head a little," they needed to talk to Olivia's dad." He answered softly mostly ignoring the looks they were getting until the man walked up to them," no they wouldn't believe you found her." He answered
"We'll go find a different way to get tickets." Zach answered moving away from the other man so Arielle wouldn't cry and get hurt
Zach stopped at that," you'll have to figure out a way to make them believe you... Especially because they will believe us faster than they believe you." He answered not once taking his now dark blue eyes off the other man. "I'm trying Ari." He said softly," now get out of here you're scaring Ari." He told the man
Zach had only moved to protect his wailing sister. He didn't care that he would get hurt. He stumbled back as he was punched. "Yeah well it seems as if you will also need to keep your self out of the pictures others are taking. They could be used as proof that I was just keeping my sister from creeps like you." He answered pulling Arielle tight against him and turning to walk away
Zach gasped softly as he was thrown against the wall. He glanced down at Arielle and wanted to tell her to run home when Nate showed up and saved the day. Zach sighed softly and shook his head," Im alright dad.. I just didn't want him to hurt Arielle." He said softly looking up at Nate now
Zach nodded slightly letting Nate take Arielle from him. He sighed a little not knowing what would have happened if Nate didn't show up. "I think ice cream sounds really good." He replied softly now keeping a little closer to Nate than he had been
Zach nodded slightly," okay... I didn't think that would happen around here though" he answered softly looking up at Nate with a soft sigh knowing right then everything would be okay. "I was scared." He admitted softly. He smiled slightly," I'll keep mom from doing too much." He replied. He was glad Raine wanted to help him out gave him time to spend with his new mother
Zach laughed softly hearing Arielle correcting Nate," yeah dad that's a bad word." He said copying his sister just because it felt good to laugh and be happy now. "What else can you teach me?" He asked thinking about everything he had already done for him. "So Olivia is alright?" Zach asked sobering a little bit
Zach's grin grew wider as Nate listed off the things he would teach him and then talked about the summer vacation home," we can do all of that?" He asked," that's the coolest thing ever!" He said
Zach laughed a little bit and nodded," Im trying to." He answered still laughing a little bit. He got up and nodded," Okay if mom gets mad ill tell her it's my fault." He answered pushing his chair in and looking at Arielle," You have ice cream in your hair."
Zach looked up at his dad as Raine called she would be down in a little bit. Zach laughed softly," dad that's not good what am I supposed to tell mom if she asks?" He asked looking at him. Raine came down the stairs and saw the slight bruising on Zach's face," what happened to you?" She asked
Raine nodded slightly as she finished staring at Zach's jaw," okay are you sure you are fine?" She asked himZach nodded," Im fine mom." He answered then both looked at Arielle as she ran around. Raine looked at her daughter and then at Nate," what did you feed her?" She asked staring at him. Zach moved slightly away since it wasn't his original idea to give Arielle that much ice cream.
Raine shook her head," Ohhh no that was not just a burst of energy you fed her something and I want to know what it is... Because I'm not going to wrestle her into bed for her nap you are." She replied Zach smiled slightly as he watched his little sister running around like a madwoman
Raine frowned a little bit," ohh you are going to regret this Nate." She called after him shaking her head a little bit," Zach do you think you could catch your sister for me?" She askedZach nodded," of course I will mom."
He answered then proceeded to chase Arielle
Zach followed her around laughing a little bit as he chased her out of the hoise to the front yard. He caught her just before she ran out to the driveway," caught ya!" He said
Zach sighed a little bit," But you need a nap and so does mommy and I need one too." He answered. "It will be fine.. You and Patches can even nap in my room with me." He suggested looking at Raine to make sure it was alright with her
"Patches is going to take a nap and mommy needs to take a nap. So you have to take a nap too.. You either let mommy tuck you in or you will have to just sit in your room without mommy putting you to bed," Raine answered as she walked up the stairs and Zach followed her with Arielle in his arms
Raine stopped and looked at Arielle," You are going to have a nap." She answered motioning to Zach to place her in bed. "So do you want me to tuck you in or do I have to just let you cry to sleep?"'she asked
Raine nodded," okay then but you need to stay here for fifteen minutes while mommy and Zach just rest... Okay?" She asked looking at the small girl as Zach moved out of the room to check on Olivia
Raine shook her head," nope you are fine to do whatever you two want."
