Raine frowned and sighed softly," I don't care what you want right now but you need to sit in here for a little while so mommy can rest and not chase you around." She answered in a tone that closed it to argument. "You don't get up for fifteen minutes alright? If you are still awake by then I'll let you play but no more ice cream and candy."

Raine sighed softly and nodded a little," Yes I will but you have to try to nap okay?" She said walking into her room and laying down in bed," Come here." She said softly Zach smiled a little seeing she was up," hey." He said softly and sat down next to her," you feeling any better?" He asked softly
Raine sighed softly as she fell asleep next to her daughter. She kept one around around Arielle so she would know what she woke up or if se had a bad dream Zach nodded," That's good.. I mean not that having your parents going to jail is a good thing but that you aren't with them anymore." He said softly
Zach nodded slightly," You're welcome." He answered looking at her with a small smile," So what would you like to do since my mom and Ari are sleeping for the most part?"
Zach nodded slightly," Sounds good to me." He answered getting up to change too. He walked out of his room in just a pair of light green swim trunks. He went to the closer and grabbed two towels and then looked over at Olivia as she came out of the bathroom," You ready?" He asked trying not to stare at her for too long and make it weird
Zach nodded slightly and the followed her up the stairs. He put the towels on a chair and then dove into the water after her. He came up closer to the shallow end and shook his hair out of his eyes with a grin
He looked down at her as she touched his face,"Someone was getting a little too grabby down in town with Arielle." He answered," I didn't let him take her to he hit me." He answered quietly
He shrugged a little bit," I would rather it was me than Ari or you." He answered looking at her
Zach looked at her," You might think you are that way but I don't." He answered," you didn't see me as some kid the James's decided to adopt while they were in Florida and you certainly didn't see me as someone who is taking advantage of finding Ari for them." He told her
"But you had only just met me." He answered slipping his arm around her waist to keep her from falling back into the water." You didn't know what I was really like." He commented looking down into her hazel eyes with his light blue ones
He continued to stare down at her with a cute half smile," Well I did care about Ari I know what it was like to feel lost and I didn't want her to be that way.. And Nate and Raine are my heroes because they didn't just let me go off on my own like any other person would have if they saw me." He answered
He shrugged a little bit," It could be that or I was just somehow born into the wrong family and should have been born to them."He said softly looking at her as he held her up against him. He didn't really like seeing the marks her parents gave her but to him she was beautiful even with the scratches and bruises on her arms
He continued to look at her," Ohh you are?" He asked with a slight grin on his face," now why is that?" Zach asked her
Zach smiled a little crookedly. "Ohhh you do?" He asked just wanting to tease her a little bit. He thought it was fun to see her blush. Zach gently touched their noses together," well." He drawled softly," I like you too."
Zach smiled slightly bigger as he felt her lips brush against his. He gently kissed her back not knowing his mom and sister were awake now. He tightened his arms around her a bit more Raine looked out the window and smiled just slightly then pulled Arielle away with her," I think because they like each other."
Zach smiled a bit as he hugged her back tightly and then followed her out of the pool." Sure I will Olivia." He answered grabbing a towel and drying off a little bit Raine frowned," Because you were sleeping and I'm sure if you asked him he would swim with you." She answered then shook her head as she heard the door shut. Raine walked over to the door outside," Zach could you take Ari swimming later with you and Olivia... I think she got up on the wrong side of the bed."
Zach looked up and nodded," sure I can mama." He answered
Raine shook her head a little bit," Arielle thinks that Zach won't be her big brother anymore." She said softly," she may have been standing at the window watching the two of you." Zach blushed a little bit," Ohhh well I'll go see what she's doing now." He said getting up after kissing Olivia on the cheek and then Raine.
Raine however stopped him," go ice your jaw while you talk with your sister." She said softly
Zach nodded and walked to the kitchen got some ice and then ran up the stairs to Arielle's door. "Ari..." He called knocking on the door and then trying to get in
"Arielle open up it's me." Zach called looking around for something to unlock the door with. He found one of the keys on top of the door frame and u locked the door," Ari?" He asked looking around the room
Zach looked all over her room and then just sat in one of the chairs." Arielle you may as well come out I'm not leaving until you come talk with me." He said softly keeping the ice on his jaw
Zach frowned and picked her up," Well why not?" He asked dropping the bag of ice he had on the floor. "What's wrong?"
"No I don't like her more than you." He said softly hugging her close. "I love you and I would do anything for you."He told her," Except stuff that would make mom and dad upset with me."
Zach shrugged a little bit," I don't know let's ask mom and dad when we eat tonight." He said softly. "Come on let's go find something to do but we have to let Olivia hang out with us just until she moves into her new house." He said getting up with her still in his arms
Zach hugged her tightly," I'll make it up to you... You and I can build a fort in my roomAnd camp in it." He offered as he went to sit with Olivia and play with Arielle
Raine smiled a little bit and kissed him back," hi.. And you are only saying that because you love me..."
Zach looked at Olivia and then got up to see what Nate would say about him taking Arielle to the zoo. Raine looked at Nate and shrugged a little bit as he agreed to let Zach take Ari to the zoo. "Maybe we should all go together instead of just having you and Zach go." Raine said softly
Raine took her and went to dress her in something comfortable to walk and be around in. She put little shoes on her feet," Ari you have to listen to Zach." Zach nodded," I promise... But dad how am I supposed to get there? I can't drive yet." He said
Raine nodded," okay good and no complaining if Zach tells you it's time to leave okay?" She asked picking up the little girl "Alright so I just have to find him when Ari and I leave?" He asked looking up at Nate seriously. Zach didn't want Ari to get hurt or anything
Raine nodded," Make sure you leave him in the car so you don't loose him." She reminded softly as she brought the small girl downstairs Zach smiled a little bit," okay we will be home by then and I know dad but is rather you be that than not care about us at all."
Zach chuckled softly and picked up his little sister," okay we are leaving." He answered then looked back at his parents," Bye we will be back later." He called with a smiled as he walked out the door with Arielle Raine waved a little bit to them then looked up at Nate," They will be fine."
Zach chuckled softly as he really just let Arielle drag him around to the different animal pens. He grinned at her as he watched the giraffes with her. When Nate's father tripped over Arielle he picked up his little sister. "Ohh it's alright." He answered," but I haven't seen any other little girls around." He replied. There was something familiar about him to Zach but he didn't know what. He didn't think anything of it as he walked away with Arielle in his arms. He looked at the time and saw they only had a little bit left," okay what do you want to see last before we have to head home?"
Zach frowned a little bit as he looked at the older man. He slowly shook his head and said," I'm sorry I can't I have to get back to my parents." He didn't really want to help the man and the fact that he was scaring Arielle made him nervous. He shifted Arielle into one arm and reached his other hand into his pocket as he turned around like he was going to get his keys out instead he pulled his phone out and called Nate before slipping the phone back Ito his pocket just in case the older man followed them
Zach nodded slight," okay then let's go but we then we have to go back home." He said walking into the toy shop. He pulled his phone out of his pocket again as they walked into the store but he didn't set Arielle down," first let me call dad." He said calling Nate again as he walked down the aisles with Arielle in his arms
Zach looked at the giraffe and then back at Arielle," I don't think he will fit in the car with us." He said softly and then a answered his dad," hey dad you know how you said to call if anything weird happened while we were out."He started. Zach looked at Arielle," Pick a smaller one and then we will come back for the really big one when we don't have to leave so quick."
Zach just about jumped out of his wits when Nate's father showed back up. He scooped Arielle up into his arm after detaching her from the other giraffe," okay I will... Which shelf is it on dad?" He asked more or less ignoring the other man as he held his crying sister
"Okay I've got it... I'll pay and then we will be walking to the car." He answered going to the registers and paying. He didn't really need to talk to Nate but he just wanted to know he was there as he paid then said," Okay Ari and I are going to the car." He looked down at his sister glad he could spend the day with her
Zach pulled away his arm and stared at Nate's father," why can't you just leave me alone." He asked then walked away and to the car so they could leave. He put Arielle in her seat and told Nate," hang on dad I have to put ari in the car." He put his phone in ari's hands," Hold that while I buckle you." He told her quickly doing the straps and shutting her door before climbing in on the other side and taking his phone back from her
Zach looked over at Arielle and frowned a little as he took the phone back. "Dad why is he following us... We are in the car but we haven't moved yet." He said softly. Zach put his arm around Arielle as he looked around Raine frowned," he found them.. Are they both alright?" She asked her eyes wide with worry
Zach nodded a little bit," I will dad."He answered then just as he said something to the driver and he started moving did Nate's father run into the car. He yelled when the car hit and dropped his phone. Since his arm was around Arielle it was smashed along with the door
Raine looked at Nate "what's going on?"
Raine looked at Nate as he swore and didn't know what to think. She was panicking slightly as he drove wanting to know what happened to her children. She paled when she saw Zach bloody arm and then almost lost it when she saw Arielle. She nodded slightly and got into the ambulance with Arielle. Zach couldn't even feel his arm any more. "Dad tried to keep her safe." He said softly as the doctor wrapped up his arm and told him to go to the hospital to get it X-rayed to see what happened
Zach hugged him back a little bit with his good arm. "Well I hope she is alright." He said softly looking up at his dad. He sighed softly," dad my arm really hurts." He said softly Raine sat in the waiting room tapping her foot nervously
Zach nodded a little," okay but I want to see mom too." He said before he followed the doctor into a room to get his arm checked out. Raine out her arms around him," I don't know she's been in the operating room since she got here." She said softly starting to cry
Raine looked at the doctor and then sunk into her chair," no.... Not my baby." She said softly as she cried softly. "Where's Zach?"She asked suddenly. "I need to see him."
Zach looked at them as he walked out of the room. He had his arm in a soft cast and on a sling. He looked at Raine and Nate as they came closer. He frowned," no I want to see Ari," he said as his good arm slipped around Nate. Raine shook her head," honey no on has been able to see her."
Raine put her arm around Zach carefully leading him up to the waiting room. She nodded slightly." Come on sweetie."She answered softly
Zach sighed softly and nodded," okay."
He said softly and stayed close to her. He felt like he should have been on that Side of the car instead of his sister
Zach had laid down and sighed a little as Raine gently playing with his hair hoping to get him to go to sleep. As the doctor walked out he sat up and Raine go up also," let us see her?"She asked
Zach looked ad his little sister and frowned."I'm sorry Ari."He whispered looking at his baby sister.
Zach looked at Nate," yeah but if I didn't ignore her we wouldn't have been there."He said looking down at his arm. He sighed softly and then nodded as raine gently laid him down," sleep Zach it's been a long day for you honey." She said softly gently stroking his hair away from his face
Zach sighed and slowly went to sleep
Raine nodded slightly,"Nate be careful." She whispered. Slowly she fell asleep next to Zach who had moved so he was resting close to his mom just like Arielle normally did when they all cuddled together. She woke up a little bit later seeing Nate sleeping against the bed with Arielle
