help to find a pnr series with a good plot and well written romance

I've started 4 series recently and none of them have really been what I'm looking for (Midnight Breed by Lara Adrian, Breeds by Lora Leigh, House of Night by PC Cast, Women of the Underworld by Kelley Armstrong). I also tried the Dark Hunter series by Sherrilyn Kenyon and wasn't a fan.

I'm looking for a PNR series, that has a GOOD solid plot and a really well developed love story. My favourite PNR series is Night Huntress by Jeaniene Frost. Other favourites are BDB by JR Ward, Fever by Karen Marie Moning, and Immortals After Dark by Kresley Cole. Any suggestions are much appreciated!! I really want to find a series to read that completely draws me in. It's not fun reading so-so books. :(

The only difference is, many of the books you mentioned are heavy on the alpha male... this, not so much. The romance is good, surprising much more than you would expect for a succubus story

Hmm lol okay maybe I should've asked for PNR books with hot alpha males then! :) I've read Vampire Academy by Richelle Mead and thought it was pretty good but not amazing. The Georgia Kincaid series is on my list of TBR but I don't know if it's what I'm looking for right now. Thanks for the recommendation!

If you haven't tried yet, definitely check out the Kara Gillian series by Diana Rowland. I'm into series that have female humor filled kickass heroines, and although at first there isn't an alpha male you will not be disappointed and the series definitely keeps you on your toes.

I loved it when I first started the series, and I LOOOOOVE Ethan and I love Ethan and Merit's relationship. But it drives me crazy that their relationship isn't more of a focus in the books. I want more of them together! Haha.

I dont know for how long but as of right now the first book in this series is free on amazon for the kindle, i just downloaded it, thought you might want to know :)
