I am, one of the challenges I'm doing needed some blue books read. Now I'm onto the seven letters/words category!!
If the lady's face was different it would be pretty but she is a bit creepy looking. the rest of it is good
Well, I've finally caught up on the ones I've read recently! Now everything's finished I can get back into reading books again :)
I've just read
, a surprisingly good read. I'm hoping to get back into this challenge more now, want to get to at least 50 by Christmas, preferably more :)
i dont think i mentioned this before but i really applaud you for doing this Claire.its nice to see someone really trying to tackle books they got for free as most of them are self-pubbed and that is daunting!
The problem I'm finding at the moment is that these ones tend to be the earlier ones and I'm having trouble finding them on my kindle!! I might put the books for this challenge into a separate folder so they're easier to pick :)
And Thank you for that Elle :) The majority of books I've on the kindle are free, unless it's really cheaper on the kindle, if I'm going to buy it I tend to go for a paper copy as it's likely I'll re-read it so the free ones take up a very significant bulk of my books!
As I've had a bit of an uncertain week, I've done an awful lot of reading and read:
I'm now halfway through
58 out of the first 100 read :) and resorting my kindle books has made finding the next one off this list easier :)I've read
since my last post and I've got
ready to start on my way to my course tomorrow :)
I've updated with the last few books I've read from this list.I've also taken two books off the list from a series I thought I had all of but don't. So I've replaced them with two other books :)
I'm all up to date now, still trying to finish two that are in progress. 64/100 read for the first 100 :)
Ok, I've randomly drawn the next four to read, hopefully before the end of the year :) They are...Number 77:
Number 69:
Number 67:
Number 7:
I've just finished The Pharos Objective (which was great) and Twenty Tiny Tales (which was terrible!) so two more down :)
So it seems I've already read
. But it's far too late at night now to think about another one to replace it so I've decided to be generous and give myself a freebie! I've read two out of the four on my 'next' list in the last few days, as well as
and have started the third one :)
I've read a few more - 19 to go - I'll update it sometime after Christmas when I've done a few more :)
I'm hoping to almost finish this set by the beginning of february, so I'm now debating... Do I add the next lot in here or start a new thread? Any suggestions?
Ummm...New thread??? I think Peppermint P said that she was going to clean up the 2013 challenges. (Stop laughing!!! She'll probably get around to it by summer!!!) ;-P
I didn't realise they were supposed to be yearly challenges! Whoops!! I never expected that I'd get through as many as I have done! I'll start another thread then :)
Lol. Well technically you could continue but most of us use it for challenges in a year because we coincide it with the yearly book challenge on goodreads and just read a certain type of books for it.. if you know what I mean!say you want to read a 100 books this year, you'd make a challenge wanting to read 70 free ones etc.
but like i said, feel free to keep going with this
Ah, ok. I missed that when I first signed up!! In that case, I'll get the rest of this lot finished by the end of the month and set up a new one for the next 100, which I'm hoping to read at least all of in 2014 (last year I made the mistake of reading other free ones rather than just the ones on the list!)
I've done an update, at the moment, I've read 79, failed to finish 6 and have 15 left to read :)I've already started
and
so I'm making good progress. My aim is to finish them by the end of January :)
I've read two more,
and
, both were very good. I'm going to read the rest (hopefully) in roughly shortest to longest order, not many more to go :)
This is the order I'm planning to read the remaining books, hopefully to finish them by the end of the month (but I may be being optimistic!!)1.
- 253 pages ✔2.
- 256 pages ✔3.
- 260 pages ✔4.
- 275 pages ✔5.
- 286 pages X6.
- 320 pages (already started) 7.
- 370 pages8.
- 382 pages9.
- 392 pages10.
- 400 pages11.
- 400 pages12.
- 482 pages
I've read
and
which were both fairly awful! The first one took ages to read, the second less so. On to
next
