Well, it was that scene when Morpheus was pouting how his ear hurt and Alyssa's didn't even ask him how he is feeling. It's the "amending the pain" part and how Alyssa's cheeks blazed furiously ;P Seriously, go and reread that whole scene and tell me what you see. :P LOL Alyssa is as dirty-minded as Morpheus. It not so much what *he* said, it's what *she* thought. Obviously, it's not his aching soul that came to her mind and made her blush so hard. And not his ear either. Haha))

Is it supposed to be related to Alyssa dressing up like a sexy nurse? That is LITERALLY THE ONLY thing that comes to my mind. I just don`t assosiate pain with seduction. And for me there were other more understandable innuedos.

Okay, I`m not that well educated in what happens when you have sex, so I can`t understnad. (meaning I don`t have the experience)
Nessy, there is a chance I'm wrong and it wasn't the thought of sex that made Alyssa blush so hard. We really need to ask the author what Alyssa thought Morpheus meant :)
@Natalia - I do remember that scene, but I went back and re-read it. The first time I read it, I did read it as partly flirtatious and partly serious, thinking she could take away his pain by saying she's come for him and committed herself to him. Even though this is soon after she's asked about Jeb. But now reading it, it just sits wrong with me now, considering the ending, so it only brings me pain. I'm not sure if I'll ever be able to re-read this book. I may have to do what WinterRose seems to be doing, which is read 2 pages at a time after a long break.

I kind of want to know which guy Alyssa would have chosen if Jeb also eternal and there was no issue with her heart...if she was forced to choose (i would prefer morpheus by all means) but really! i was hoping for something different in Ensnared....
I threw my book at the wall when I read the epilouge I even started crying. Team Jeb all the way...I think... scratch that I have no idea im crying again...I miss both of the guys but im still not convinced Morph is the guy(or jeb for that matter) WAIT! I HAVE AN IDEA! LET'S ADD A 3RD GUY. YAASSS PERFECT
I finished Unhinged recently, and I promised myself that if I don't like the ending to Ensnared, I will personally write my own Fan Fiction and send it to A. G. Howard and have the ending of the series changed. (The second half probably won't happen, but I like to dream.) After reading this book - *mentally dies*

So, fan fiction, here I come. I personally have no problem with Alyssa and Jeb together, why? HA because then my fan fiction character gets Morpheus all to myself. *evil laugh* And honestly, it's a fan fiction, Morpheus will do anything and everything I please. *Traces henna tattoo of his name on my foot* I'm weird like something else, so *smiles*.
I was hesitant to continue the series because I worried if A. G. Howard suddenly decided that Morpheus isn't good enough for the series, she'll kill him off. I DON'T WANT THAT, DEAR GOSH.
Between Team Jeb What's-his-face and Team Morpheus, and I were in Alyssa's shoes, I'd pick Jeb, only cause - my god he did that thing in the first book that no one else was willing to do with the connection to roses and red colour. (I can't find the button of where to hide spoilers.) BUT, then again, if I'd think like ME, I'd be BIAS into picking Morpheus BECAUSE HE CONSTANTLY SAVES ALYSSA'S HIDE (In the second book with Sister Two at creepy fest and whatever other examples I can't remember.)
And honestly, this isn't the first book character I've let myself get attached to, but I swear I will be so sad and mentally dead if something happens to him, I don't know what I'll do.
Now, I'm going to go fan girl over other books now that I've found this site. YAY.

Spoilers?? GUYS!! I can't wait to read untamed and to hopefully have a baby Morpheus toddling around!!! OMG! How cute would that be?? And imagine right after the baby is born Morpheus holding him and just being in awe that he is a daddy! Ahhhhh!!! I can't!!!!

There's a thread in the fan group to discuss Ensnared and the ending. That would be a much better place than this thread. Some people haven't read Ensnared yet.

I think Morpheus is better because, yes he did use Alyssa, but he really and truly loved her. He did all those things to make her stronger and make her a better Queen. Meanwhile, Jeb didnt let her do anything and treated her like a child. (Btw I have not read Ensnared yet so idk who she ends up with) And I do agree that Morpheus is more attractive than Jeb. I'm not a huge fan of guyliner but on some guys it does look good (e.g Jack Sparrow and Captain Hook)
