Stef | 18 comments Still on "Naughty in Nice", but I thought I'd post in about what I thought was, amongst other things, quite funny so far... The rather frightening French housekeeper's name is "Lapiss" and the policeman with the rather large feet is called "Lafitte"... Simply love the choice of names!

Good book. Read it a few years ago when I first found her "Goldy" series! Waiting for her "The Whole Enchilada" to come out in Aug!!!"

I used to read her books but skipped several, limited library. What ever happened to her second husband, the police detective? I liked him.

Jeanie Jackson Just finished Kitty Kitty Bang Bang. I enjoyed it. I have like all three book in this series. Back to my reread of Heller's Punishment to get ready for the release of Heller's Decision next week. NOT cozy but I love this series.

Jeanie Jackson Dog Collar Crimes by Adrienne Giordano who has just publish this first book in a new almost cozy series featuring a dogwalker/doggie designer whose family are "connected". She does not wanted to be connected with organized crime and has built a life of her own that collapse when she lost her job in a merger. Now she is trying to make ends meet and her doggie designs have taken off literal as well as figuratively someone keeps dognapping her customers and then returning them. Humor and intelligent mystery with a mild "hot" factor. I look forward to more. I love her security romance mysteries but this is a much lighter mystery.

Jeanie Jackson Just finished a British cozy, Canal End by Alex Barr. I don't often enjoy British stories but this was really good. I got it as a freebie from Amazon so I read it without reading the first one. Will be going back for that.

Sharon Toner (sharonburchtoner) | 6 comments I'm reading The Fire by Katherine Neville. It is the sequel to The Eight that I read years ago. Neville's writing doesn't insult one by giving (or repeating) too much information. Her plots are intricate and well-researched. At times I wish I had an advanced degree in history to winnow historical fact from plot invention. Altogether a great read.

Jeanie Jackson Just finished Lowcountry Bombshell, by Susan Boyer. Way better than the first one.

Janet (jmnh109) | 4 comments About to start the Farm Fresh series by Paige Shelton. Saw 6 books in the used bookstore yesterday. Read great reviews on Goodreads and Amazon so I bought them all. I am a big fan of Laura Childs and Joanne Fluke so these sounded right "up my street" as they say.

Wedded Blintz (Lexy Baker #7) Dobbs, Leighnn
To Love and To Perish (Annabelle Archer, #3)
