Just finished a free book called Never Say Spy by Diane Henders. I had never heard of it but really enjoyed it. Not really a cozy but has that personal feel. Probably gong to Body Movers by Stephanie Bond next.
I am reading Killer Librarian by Mary Lou Kirwin. Not sure I if I like it yet or not and I am already on page 97 but I have read good reviews on it.
I am reading A Rose from the Dead by Kate Collins. I didn't realize when I was at the library that I was starting on book #6. I don't know if it's because I'm coming in late, but I really don't like the main character. I don't know if it's worth going back and starting at #1!

I just finished that one. I have read Carbs & Cadavers and Chili Con Corpses. I need to read the 2nd in the series. I really liked the book a lot. It is a funny series so far of what I read.
I am currently reading Read and Buried by Erika Chase. This is the 2nd in her series. I have already read A Killer Read. The two cats in the book steal the show! :)
Killing Memories by Tatianna Moore. Sloooow start. If it hadn't been recommended by someone who taste I trust, I would probably have set it aside for a later time. Glad I kept going. I really enjoyed it and immediately ordered the next two. Ebooks, 1st free, 2nd 2.00 each. Finished them all loved all three!!!
I like the characters in Chili Con Corpse but haven't read Carbs & Cadavers.
Just finished the 7th Samantha Sweet book. Sweets Galore by Connie Shelton.
Now reading Dogged Pursuit by Lee Charles Kelly

It was a good. I really enjoyed it. The suspect was not obvious. Which I liked. Maddy did a very good job of describing Norway & the arctic circle, I felt as if I was there on the trip with all of them. I laughed at the surprise & hi jinx. Starting Dutch Me Deadly ;)

What is the key component of a cozy mystery. I read many books about amateur detectives. I know the ones with humor count but what about the books like Julia Spencer-Fleming's series, Rev. Clare Ferguson.... She is an amateur and the details are not graphic, yet I listed it as mystery and suspense instead of cozy. I have gone back and relabeled some but I just got more confused. Even though Mrs. Polifax, by Dorthy Gilman, works for the CIA, I really see those as cozies. Help.
Christina, do you like Lorna Barrett's series. I love her other two but the protagonist just didn't hit me right in the one book I have read so far. Can't decide whether or not to give it another try.
Jeanie, I have liked all of her Booktown Mysteries that I have read. There isn't too many cozy I have read that I haven't liked!!!!
Naughty in Nice Naughty in Nice. In case anybody's wondering why I type the title and then add the link on top - I discovered that on Android you only get a clickable square for the link, so I thought I'd better spell it out.
