Ah! but you do like Game of Thrones. I thought the first Hunger Games was great, but then it goes down hill somewhat. I'd also say it's more dystopian than fantasy.

Yeah, true enough. Have you read the Hunger Games trilogy? I have them sat on my Kindle but I honestly can't see myself going there, they were freebies. Found the whole premise quite depressing and cruel.

I have read the trilogy, Janet. I thought the first was great, but the other two could have been better. An enjoyable read, if you already like that kind of thing, otherwise, I'm certain there are tons more books out there that you would get more enjoyment from.

I was invited to join this group, so thank you.
I'm from the UK (Wales, to be precise) and I'm a university student. I enjoy reading (obviously) and baking. I also have a blog.
Hope to chat with you all soon :)

I do read while it's in the oven, but I've also been known to read while mixing and kneading (family members get annoyed with having to turn the pages for me!)

True enough, Mike. I work part time in a library, and you would not believe the state of some books that we throw out. A co-worker once found a crispy rasher of bacon :~/

Katy happy to invite you here.
Martha , welcome to the group"
Thank you for the welcome! I too bake and read but the reading is only between putting sheets of cookies in the oven and taking them out again. I am way too messy as a cook to let my books get anywhere near my prep area. Disaster would not be too far away. :-)

I confess I get a little squeamish when I find unknown/unidentifiable things and stains inside library books.

I am from Central California, currently teach in high school and love reading and film.
Looking forward to read insight in this group!

I'm Rosie, been on Goodreads for a couple of years and I'm a reader and not an author. I read a lot, in spurts! - depending how busy I am.
I live in a small coastal town twenty miles to the east of Edinburgh in Scotland.
