Sure you will like Sharon Bolton !"
Not heard of Sharon Bolton.
I've just finished "Eeny meeny" by M.J. Aldridge, good thinking book and some disturbing and creepy descriptions . Well worth it.
Casey
Sharon Bolton (was SJ Bolton) was our first Q & A authors and one of the top authors in the UK, like Karin Slaughter, but Sharon's are quite often quite dark, strong, gritty and disturbing, lots of members are reading her books, start with Now You See Me.

Add me as a friend if you do.

Hi Carl, I sent you a friend request. I read over a 100 books a year. I've also gotten some great suggestions from here. Always looking for new authors to read.

I've always been an avid reader so much so that when my Mum used to send me to my room if I'd been naughty, she would find me a couple of hours later with my head in a book - so much for her form of punishment!!!
I read loads of crime thrillers, mysteries etc - but I'll give most genres a go.
Looking forward to getting some top tips on what to read and also hoping to be ablet to give some tips on books I have read.
Tara
Welcome Tara! I'm from East Anglia too! :-)

Welcome to the group Michael, I'm Theresa. It's nice to see you here :)

Hi Casey, I'm Theresa. Welcome to the group. Have you tried any od K.R. Nadreau's books? Thought Walker and Thought walker 2 are good psychological thrillers :)

Hi Ian and welcome to the group. I'm Theresa Moretimer and I know what you mean about writing that first book. When I first started writing it took me forever to think of the genre I would write and a story base. Unsure, I turned my personal drama into a work of fiction. That was a rewarding experience and now I'm 5 into the series so this writing one book thing...It won't stop there lol. I hope you enjoy the group.

Have a great night :)

Best of luck with your novel Emmy...I think most of us have one in the pipeline! We look forward to your participation - but be warned....your TBR list will probably exceed your life span. I think I need 3 lives to be able to read all mine! Everyone just keeps recommending such good books to read.
Happy reading! 8:D

Welcome Emmy! Enjoy the group! :-)

Hi Emmy, welcome to this wonderful group. Congratulations on your degree!! Any idea what you might want to do with your health care degree? I retired one year ago from my career as a physician. I loved my job, and am excited to see people choosing the health care field!

Thank you!! Well I've just recently had a baby, so I'm taking a year out of studying, however I'm planning on returning to education next year to do my masters in Social Work or something in Public Health. I enjoy being a part of the health care field.

I just joined the group and I am pleased to be a member. I live in the Los Angeles area with my wife. I have two adult children. I was in Workers' Compensation law for 9 years and taught math for, four years. I decided to take my passion for legal thrillers/mysteries, my legal experience and enjoyment for writing and write the next great American novel. When I am not writing, I can usually be found running and cycling the streets of L.A, doing crossword puzzles, spending time with my family, catching a good movie and of course reading.
