Please Introduce Yourself, Let's All Get To Know Each Other

Oh, that's excellent about Linwood Barclay; I look forward to that.

Hey Dips.
Me too. Have just had too much on my plate.
Getting ready for trip to KC!!!! Cannot wait to see my kids and grands!!!!
We will get off the plane, grab our SUV and head to a party at Manny's. MMMMM We have our priorities. It's Mex food and margaritas!!!! YUMMO.
Sure wish you were in MO!!!!!

I read all sorts of genres and like the works of Christopher Brookmyre and Linwood Barclay, to name a few.

Dipanjan, yeah as soon as you said the shadows were trying to steal you innocence...well let's say I was, skeptical.
Trying to track down the bounty. Don't worry it would take quite a bit to tempt me.

You do know that my heart is ALWAYS in MO, right. Oh man. Manny!!! Me jealous ... like how.

@ Mike - Hustle up the bounty a bit if you can. My surrender should make us both rich. Deal?

If they put you in a cell with a window I can show up with a couple of horses and a rope.

"Just in case" the rope snaps before the hole appears .... TNT is the Plan B.

Can you ride a horse?

I´m Sascha from Germany. My favorite authors are Simon Beckett and Sebastian Fitzek (a german author). My favorite genre is "psychological thriller". I read often german translations and sometimes the original versions.

Dipanjan, same problem no one will incarcerate a cute cat with big eyes.

@ Ruth - I generally sell my soul for "cute cats in awesome boots".

Although I like an intriguing story, preferably with a true surprise at the end, I'll read anything as long as it cracks along at a good pace.
Some of my favourite reads are:
Lee Child's Jack Reacher series, especially The Affair
John Grisham
Tom Clancy
Michael Chabon's "The Yiddish Policemen's Union"
Historical thrillers e.g. CJ Sansom's Shardlake series, "Dominion"
"The Key to Rebecca" by Ken Follett
Janet Evanovich's Stephanie Plum series
JD Robb's Eve Dallas series
Linwood Barclay
Paul Sussman
Robert Harris - political and historical thrillers, especially "Fatherland"
SJ Watson's "Before I Go To Sleep"
David Hewson's Italian set novels, but they are more crime than thrillers, but pretty good.
Adrian Magson's Harry Tate spy thrillers
I read science fiction, historical and spy thrillers and especially where there's a culture clash. As you can see, my reading is a little quirky. ;-)
I also write; the first three books in my Roma Nova alternate history thriller series are published by SilverWood Books and I'm halfway through drafting the fourth. Endorsers have included Simon Scarrow, Adrian Magson and the writer and broadcaster Sue Cook.
Looking forward to meeting you!
Best,
Alison
