Sue (coccotoro) | 2087 comments Yes, Daniel...get one. They are not too expensive and super to store novels on. I would only consider a Kindle. The service and the selection is the best!

message 2202: by DoodlePanda (new)

DoodlePanda @Daniel - I'm tempted to download it too even though I haven't had a chance to find out what it's about. Just because you went to Godzilla without me... :p

Daniel, do you have a tablet?

I loved my Walkmen. I burned thru at least 7-8 of those things when I was doing some major bike riding back in the 1990s.

Sarah (bugzie) | 48 comments Congrats Sean!! That is awesome. I am with Daniel and don't have a kindle. I just bought my kids one for the birthdays but I do have an iPad. Can you download it on there? I am an old fashioned person I guess. I would rather have the book in my hand but I can't wait to read it.

DoodlePanda You can get the kindle app on pretty much all devices and PCs. Lets you do all the stuff the Kindle does as far as I'm aware.
I have the app on my mobile, so in case I forget my Kindle, I can carry on reading on my phone as it syncs your progress.

Sarah, I share your thoughts completely. You can certainly download on iPad as that is what I do when I can 't get the print book. With your iPad, go to Amazon and find Sean's book. Tap on it. You have to use 1-click (a dangerous thing, really) to buy it so if you don't have that set up, do that thru "My Account". Right under 1-click see "Deliver to" and that should have "Sarah's ipad" or "Sarah's kindle cloud reader". It can be set on either. Click on 1-click. The next screen shows something about delivering it and I have it delivered to my cloud. There you go. As I say, dangerously easy!!!

MN Chris

OH--IMPORTANT P.S. Sarah, to do this, you have to download free Kindle App for iPad from the App Store if you haven't already.

Right now I am reading a lot of Linwood Barclay. I'm planning on starting the John Sandford series. I have started Natchez Burning by Greg Iles, but put it down. Just not in the mood for it. Love Chelsea Cain. I recently read The Headmaster's Wife and loved it.

A lot of people here love Chelsea Cain! I have her on my to read shelf. Sue, have you read any Karin Slaughter, SJ Bolton or Tess Gerritsen? They are 3 of my favs.

I've read all three, but only one of each authors books. I will look into reading more of them. I liked SJ Bolton the most out of the three you mentioned. Karin Slaughter was also good. I like Lisa Unger too.

I don't like romance or what I call "fluffy" books. I like thrillers with no tag along love stories. I really enjoyed the series by [author:Stieg Larsson|706255.
