DoodlePanda Where on earth is Dips btw?

Did someone let him out of his cage again??

message 1304: by Mike (the Paladin) (new)

Mike (the Paladin) (thepaladin) | 652 comments I think so... We'll just have to hope nothing actually illegal happens.

Hmm, yea... Would be a shame if he gets stuck in prison.

message 1306: by Daniel (new)

Daniel (diaze) A turkish prison.

message 1307: by DoodlePanda (new)

DoodlePanda Daniel wrote: "A turkish prison."

Why turkish? Is that especially bad?? O.o

Poor Dips. Just imagine... and with his looks.. he would be in so much trouble.

According to the film Midnight Express, yes. And according to my son, Swedish prisons are the bees knees.

message 1311: by Malina (new)

Malina | 775 comments Here we are with imaginations running wild and poor Dips is probably doing something mundane like grocery shopping or cleaning the bathroom :D

Has he got personal experience on Swedish prisons? O.o

DoodlePanda Malina wrote: "Here we are with imaginations running wild and poor Dips is probably doing something mundane like grocery shopping or cleaning the bathroom :D"

Lol!

I doubt it. I don't think Dips is capable of 'mundane'. Which is why he is so interesting and entertaining! :D

message 1314: by Daniel (new)

Daniel (diaze) I am the God of the Mundane. The banal and ordinary are my people. haha.

message 1315: by DoodlePanda (new)

DoodlePanda Daniel wrote: "I am the God of the Mundane. The banal and ordinary are my people. haha."

Lol, mundane is exciting to me... I am a very boring individual. Which is why I need to be entertained! :p

message 1316: by Daniel (new)

Daniel (diaze) Considering what life can throw at you, being mundane can be something most welcome!

DoodlePanda Daniel wrote: "Considering what life can throw at you, being mundane can be something most welcome!"

Very true!

message 1318: by Marie (new)

Marie | 1 comments Hi, I'm Marie and I live in a suburb of Pittsburgh Pennsylvania. I have been an avid reader ever since I learned to read and the Mystery and Thriller genre's are my favorite. I have 3 grown son's, a dog, 3 cats, and a house full of books. I have an inoperable cancer that tends to make me sick every now and then so if you don't hear from me for a stretch of time it's only because I am not feeling well, but trust that I will be back on soon! My favorite authors are Linwood Barclay and Harlan Coben.

message 1319: by DoodlePanda (new)

DoodlePanda Welcome!
Sorry to hear you have cancer :( Hopefully it will behave and not make you feel sick!

Good to meet you, Marie. Hope you have far more good days than bad. Stay well :)

message 1321: by Mike (the Paladin) (new)

Mike (the Paladin) (thepaladin) | 652 comments Hi Marie, welcome to the lounge. We're a little odd here at times but it's all safe fun (mostly). Also wishing you more good days than bad and that things look up.

I'll pray for you if it's okay.

message 1322: by DoodlePanda (new)

DoodlePanda 'A bit odd' might be an understatement...

message 1323: by Dipanjan (new)

Dipanjan | 314 comments Welcome to the group Marie ..... we will inject so much insanity in you that the cancer will run as if king kong was chasing it ....

To everyone else - Say fellas!!! Whaddup????

message 1324: by DoodlePanda (new)

DoodlePanda It's the Dipsinatoooor!! :D

message 1325: by Dipanjan (new)

Dipanjan | 314 comments @ DoodlePanda - Dips was IN the cage. Chained and leashed up. And they say slavery was abolished.

@ Mike - Slavery IS illegal and that happened to me ALL day.

@ Daniel - Was in a WORSE prison than the Turkish or the Swedish. I was in a prison for the man slave.

@ Malina - You get the Jackpot. I WAS freaking made to clean utensils. Apparently, I was being trained for the mankind at large.

message 1326: by DoodlePanda (new)

DoodlePanda Wait... why are you talking in 3rd person.. are you the real Dips?? O.o

And what kind of.. man slave? O.o

I'm finding your post intriguing and disturbing at the same time...

message 1327: by Dipanjan (new)

Dipanjan | 314 comments @ DoodlePanda - No intrigue at all. The whole thing is extremely disturbing. Any form of extreme exploitation is disturbing indeed. That too, in the name of "domestic training". Appalling.

message 1328: by Daniel (new)

Daniel (diaze) Resistance is futile, Dibs.

DoodlePanda Dipanjan wrote: "@ DoodlePanda - No intrigue at all. The whole thing is extremely disturbing. Any form of extreme exploitation is disturbing indeed. That too, in the name of "domestic training". Appalling."

Surely that depends on what kind of exploitation you are referring to?

Welcome to the group Marie!! You'll be excited to know, Linwood Barclay will be joining us to do a Q&A. Date TBD!!

message 1331: by DoodlePanda (new)

DoodlePanda I just realized I'm probably becoming increasingly silly due to boredom. Please let me know if I'm too annoying and I shall stop typing :p

message 1332: by Dipanjan (new)

Dipanjan | 314 comments @ Daniel - Totally. There is no resistance. No immunity. Even "intense whining" had no effect.

@ DoodlePanda - All forms of exploitation. Starting from "child labour".

message 1333: by Mike (the Paladin) (new)

Mike (the Paladin) (thepaladin) | 652 comments We'd never enslave you D. It's for your own protection, really... now put down that large soft drink and have some distilled water. I'll just lock up all this nasty unhealthy stuff and all of us here will decide what's best for you.

What, you want to make up your own mind? Pick your own friends? Eat and drink what you like?

How radical.

message 1334: by Daniel (new)

Daniel (diaze) Dipanjan wrote: "@ Daniel - Totally. There is no resistance. No immunity. Even "intense whining" had no effect.

Except to intensify your exploitation.

message 1335: by Dipanjan (new)

Dipanjan | 314 comments @ Mike - Thank you thank you thank you. This is why I escaped from the cage and ran straight here. Ha ha. (Secret - that soft drink you are referring to? It was PINK in colour. #chokegagdie).

message 1336: by Dipanjan (new)

Dipanjan | 314 comments @ Daniel - It was like "The Final Solution". It was pre-decided. My whining had no effect either way. It was pure torment all the way.

message 1337: by DoodlePanda (new)

DoodlePanda Eww.. pink!? Worst colour ever... Though sometimes pink drinks taste nice I suppose...

message 1338: by Dipanjan (new)

Dipanjan | 314 comments @ DoodlePanda - A MAN cannot be seen drinking a Pink Drinking. Unless you are on a beach and being served by Hooters.

message 1339: by DoodlePanda (new)

DoodlePanda @Dips - Lol, you're such a manly man :p

message 1340: by Malina (new)

Malina | 775 comments Dipanjan wrote: "@ DoodlePanda - A MAN cannot be seen drinking a Pink Drinking. Unless you are on a beach and being served by Hooters."

I say a MAN can drink whatever he feels like drinking be it pink, purple or glittery! Of course being on the beach makes it all better

message 1341: by Daniel (new)

Daniel (diaze) I'll drink to that, Malina.

message 1342: by DoodlePanda (new)

DoodlePanda Can you get glittery drinks??? I've had one with gold flakes before.. it tasted cinnemony... Yummy!

message 1343: by Dipanjan (new)

Dipanjan | 314 comments @ DoodlePanda - Hush. Now is not the right time to say that. I am now damaged goods. Scarred for life.

message 1344: by Malina (new)

Malina | 775 comments Cheers Daniel, I could go for a nice drink right now, except I need to get to my motherly duties and start my afternoon chauffeur rounds, what could be more exciting??

message 1345: by DoodlePanda (new)

DoodlePanda Dipanjan wrote: "@ DoodlePanda - Hush. Now is not the right time to say that. I am now damaged goods. Scarred for life."

Poor Dipsy! *hugs*
Anything I can do to make it better?

message 1346: by DoodlePanda (new)

DoodlePanda @Dips - Glittery drink? :D

message 1347: by DoodlePanda (new)

DoodlePanda I'm going to look into glittery drinks!

message 1348: by Daniel (new)

Daniel (diaze) Malina wrote: "Cheers Daniel, I could go for a nice drink right now, except I need to get to my motherly duties and start my afternoon chauffeur rounds, what could be more exciting??"

Too bad mid afternoon drinks for mommies are frowned upon these days.

message 1349: by Dipanjan (new)

Dipanjan | 314 comments @ Malina - Wait up. I will send you the Official Manhood rules in Private Message. I have no choice but to follow it. They have been written by legendary men. (If anyone wants the rules, please let me know and I shall mail ya).

Drink and be merry, that's what I say. Life's too short to worry about pink drinks! I love a cool glass of pink wine (ok rosé!!)
