Hi Judi! Glad to meet you! Ok. Quick question: is it or is it not MAY 3? & do we usually associate spring flowers, cool meadow breezes & the sun floating in the sky. & in May, don't we expect to be greeted by the pleasant sounds of the birds in the trees?

Why was there 2 inches of %#>* SNOW on the ground this morning?!?! & WHY IS IT STILL SNOWING?!?! I'm so done w/ winter. :(

I work full ..."Judi, welcome. long before i became a writer, i used to hang out at book clubs and realized that at some of them there was this elitism... they read only literary fiction and considered crime and thriller fiction as something beneath their well attired heels.
@ DoodlePanda & Kristy - No I didn't get eaten by the idiot yet. Yep, was out partying. Kinda "Return Of The Absconding Ruffian Get Together."@ Beth - Oh really. Now that's sad. I always got attracted to the "Danger of the Sushing Librarian".

You may regret joining however as you will be inundated with so many outstanding recommendations that you will more than fill up all those kindles you have! Let me start--have you read any S. J. Bolton, Tess Gerritsen or Karin Slaughter?

Hi everyone! I joined the other day, and thought I would pop in to say hello. Like the rest of you here, I love reading! But, mystery/thrillers are by far my favorite. I'm never without a book or my Kindle and usually have 3-4 books going at once. Truth be known, I probably spend WAY too much time reading when I should be doing other things. But, I know I don't have to explain or apologize here! :) I look forward to reading and discussing books with you!
Welcome Gina. Oh no, you will never have to explain or apologise for anything in here. We raise the benchmark of "absolutely psychotic and sociopathic behaviour" at any given point of time. You may have to keep up. Have a blast in here.
