Phil Kurthausen | 3 comments Hola,

I'm Phil from Liverpool although I now live in Barcelona.

I write thrillers (Bloodhound Books/HarperCollins) and love getting recommendations for new authors as I have a serious book habit. Anti-heroes, darkly comic, and off beat is my bag.

Salut!

Kimberley Moody | 3 comments Hello!

I used to be a member of this group 3-4 years ago.
I deleted social media including goodreads for a long time and stopped reading quite a lot.

I’m better now and thank you for letting me re-join the group. I always loved this group so much.
I remember a few faces... Janet, Sean, Christine.... to mention a few. :-)

Hope everyone is all well. :-)

Allison McNeely | 3 comments Hi! My name is Allison McNeely. I am a yankee (CT) living on a bayou in Louisiana! I work in the oilfield, Married almost 9 years, no kids, obsessed with my dog (all dogs actually) and love cats (not obsessed though, they would never stand for it!) huge reader of thrillers, particularly psychological thrillers but love mysteries, some procedurals, and love when I find a series to delve into. I do audio books ( totally counts as reading!) and have been an audible member for 11 years so have many many titles in my library which I’m trying to update here in the goodreads app. Looking forward to recommendations and chats.

Erica Bunker | 1 comments Hi! I'm Erica and I LOVE a great thriller. Lately, I've been hooked on Peter Swanson, Karin Slaughter (for 2 months, I binged read everything by her... it's that serious), Chelsea Cain and a little Jennifer Hillier. And I love anything with an unreliable wine guzzling female narrator. I look forward to being introduced to new authors and books that I can just quit life for a few hours and devour!

After many years teaching chemistry, I changed career and became a technical editor, knowledge management specialist and software tester with a global computer software company. I'm Althea and I'm from Madison, WI. I have my own blog, which I just recently switched blog hosts, and would love for you to check it out and subscribe to my blog.

I do my best to review at least one book a month, but sometimes it takes me a little while. I work a full-time job and my husband and I are expecting our first child in October, so I have been getting tired the closer to the due date I get.

I need to read some Mysteries to help improve the suspence in the detective novel I'm writing.

Kevin Merchant | 14 comments Hi I'm Kev.
I have been an avid reader from Enid Blyton, through Malcolm Saville and John Creasey, Now just retired-ish (they asked me back part-time), I have more time for books.

Am an avid fan of Lee Child and Stephen Leather, desperately needing to sink my teeth into another good author.

I do enjoy biographies and "towards horror" such as Jeffrey Deaver and Early Stephen King.

Have already published reviews under Amazon, but dumped them as the service for me deteriorated.

Hi, Kev! Welcome to retirement! Asked you back, eh? Don't fall for it. Make a clean break of it. Enjoy some reading before the yard work and household repairs kick in. Then you won't have a spare minute.

Now try the ebook first novella in my INCOGNITO Thriller Series. It's Life on the Lam. You can start reading for FREE and then if you want more, they are only 99 cents each. I know it's a shameless plug. So shoot me! http://adamjames.blackdogebooks.com/

message 8793: by Samantha (new)

Samantha (readingisthe_tea) | 1 comments Hi Everyone. I have been in this group for quite sometime and I have no idea if I have ever introduced myself. I also just cleaned house and got rid of all the groups that I was not active in! This one stuck because it's the genre of books that I love best.

I'm Sam and I am currently a full-time online student with Southern New Hampshire University (Yes, that school with the commercial on tv.) It's honestly as great as they make it out to be and I'm considering going for my Masters with it once my Undergrad is finished. I'm working hard to achieve a Bachelor's in English Language and Literature with a minor in Creative Writing. I have recently been inducted into the High Honors English Society called Sigma Tau Delta and from there I have applied for an internship with Penguin Random House in NYC. I won't know if I got it for another month and the actual internship isn't until Feb 2020.

I think this goes without saying but, I love to read. I love a lot of genres but my favorites are Thriller & Suspense, Horror, Historical Fiction, Contemporary Fiction and Fantasy. I'm currently reading The Stand by Stephen King. (Kind of shock it's my first time reading this one and so far I'm loving it!)

I also got a job at The Nerd Daily.com it's an online blog featuring books, fandoms, tv shows and basically anything that classify as "nerd culture" I am currently working on my first three blog posts.

It's finally the beginning of my favorite time of year. Halloween, Thanksgiving & Christmas! I love the Holidays and I love giving back. My family and I usually donate toys and clothing to people who need it during this time but this year we decided to adopt a local rescue farm. They rescue all types of animals small and large and the owners had some hardships this year, so we are excited to be gifting them what they need. Plus we will get to visit all the pigs, goats, cows and chickens!

Please feel free to add me, I don't get out nearly enough and I'm always looking for a friend especially one that wants to talk about books!

<3 Sam.

Woman Reading (is away exploring) | 577 comments Hi everyone,

I joined Goodreads two months ago and have finally gotten around to checking out the groups. This one looks like a fantastic group.

I live in the USA. I have been an avid reader since I learned how to read. Crime fiction is the genre that I have read for the longest period. I've only branched into thrillers since last year when I found Lee Child's Jack Reacher stories. But my absolutely favorite protagonist is Charlie Fox, written by Zoe Sharp.

Come check out my profile & shelves. I'd like to meet more people with similar interests. And I've also added 10 random facts about me in that thread.

Julie Mccluskey | 2 comments Hi im Julie and i live on the South Coast of England. I love reading especially mystery and thrillers. As a teenager i was an avid fan of Agatha Christie, now i love anything psychological. After a career in banking and working for a local school i am now a parent carer for my daughter and have lots of time for reading ☺

message 8799: by Kath (new)

Kath | 2 comments Hi, I’m Kath ! Thanks for the invite :)
I live South Coast of England and work part time in the motor trade. I score for my local cricket team in the Summer and play pool in the pub! I watch (while reading) lots of other sports live and on tv. Too many to list!
The rest of the time I read. About 300 books a year which I also review! Most genres apart from romance/erotica!
I share a house with my big bro and, as I’m responsible for the chores, it’s usually pretty messy (but clean) that’s cos I read when I’m supposed to be doing them! But bro don’t mind as long as the cat we share with a neighbour gets fed!
That’s me! Thanks for reading.
