Amber Martingale Hi, Scout. You and R.D. will both get your "Welcome to the Family" URLs on the second of January because I left my earbuds at home and I am NOT going home to get them. Once I'm home, I'm home for the day especially when the predicted high is below 45 degrees Fahrenheit!

Thereadingbell Hello I am Susanne a retired disabled veteran. I fell in love with stories when I was a little girl when I learned about creative writing. I was hooked from that point forward. I love watching real crime stories and love murder mysteries. My favorite is murder mystery and thriller. I think this is why I loved Murder She Wrote so much. My most recent book read was The Outsider by Stephen King. I see some of you are reading it. I live in Mississippi with my Husky and Beagle mix. Most of my days I spend reading.

Jess Clayton (jessclay10) | 4 comments Hi, all! I'm in the southeast part of Missouri. Reading is my passion - I would love to do it full time but haven't figured out a way to do that yet. I am a business analyst in the training and development field. I am married (23 years) and have 2 children (18, 15) but they support my habit and allow me plenty of reading time. I have loved mysteries since I was very young, when I first read Nancy Drew. I like a good "whodunit." These days I read a lot of psychological thrillers. Ever since I read Gone Girl, I have been hooked! I also enjoy gothic thrillers like Shirley Jackson's The Haunting of Hill House or Wilke Collins' The Moonstone. I haven't read much of the thrillers I've seen mentioned here. Years ago I read The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo series and really liked those. Lately I have been thinking about trying out some of the popular authors who write a series featuring a recurring detective, such as Bosch or Monk. If you have suggestions, let me know!

Barbie Hello! I’m Barbi from Hungary.
I’m new on GR 😊 I’ve started reading in English a year ago, before that i've been reading in Hungarian, but I’ve got bored of the translation mistakes/errors. So I switched to English.
My English is not as good but I’m practicing. :)
A most recent thriller what I’m read is Verity by Colleen Hoover, it’s really good. :)
My TBR list is full of good thriller. :D
I hope I have a lot of new friend!
Happy reading!

PamG (lynguy1) | 2574 comments Hi,

My name is Pam and I love reading books of many different genres. I love thrillers, mysteries and suspense novels, but I also enjoy reading other types as well; especially science fiction, fantasy, and paranormal fiction as well as nature, gardening, and history. I also generally read 2 or more books at the same time; with one of them on my kindle and the rest physical books.

As for the book that is better aligned with this Group, I am currently reading The Emperor's Tomb by Steve Berry. Some of my favorite mystery/thriller authors include Steve Berry, James Patterson, Faye Kellerman, Jonathan Kellerman, J. A. Jance, Blake Pierce, John Sandford, Ty Hutchinson, Janet Evanovich, and Stephen Coonts.

I am looking forward to the group discussions.
