You should try the Helen Grace series by MJ Arlidge. The first book is called Eeny Meeny

I am a 42 year old married guy from Albuquerque, New Mexico. I am an operating room RN by trade (yes...the serious blood and guts stuff). I have always loved to read and can rarely be seen without a book or Kindle in my hand, or an audiobook on my phone. I love a variety of types of books, but thrillers and crime stories are my favorite. I look forward to reading everyone's posts.
Thank You for allowing me to join.

I do enjoy Patricia Corwell quite a lot. Robin Cook tends to depict nurses as glorified servants, so I steer clear of him. Those are the only two medical thriller I can think of. If you have more, please by all means let me know! Gory scenes never bother me. I have worked Trauma for years and have seen it all; and I also like reading about it....whatever a psychiatrist would make of that....I don't know!

I, like probably most of you, have read all my life. Reading came early in my life. I love good writing and writers. LeCarre, Martin Cruz Smith, Audrey Niffenegger, Caro Rifka Brumt, Mohsin Hamid etc.

Hi, Angelo. Your "Welcome to the Family" URL is Carol Of The Bells - Deck The Halls - Robert Shaw Chorale: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SxwvC...
Hi, Ken. Your "Welcome to the Family" URL is "ADESTE FIDELES "- Luciano Pavarotti: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bLTgA... The image at the 3:27 mark is particularly poignant...a reminder that Santa Claus started out as St. Nicholas... .

I spent 32 years raising, breeding, racing, and riding Thoroughbred racehorses. For a time, I was an amateur steeplechase jockey, so I have a solid platform from which to write racetrack thrillers. My books have either won or been nominated for the Carrie McCray Award, an Agatha Best First Mystery award, a Macavity Best First Mystery award, The Dr. Tony Ryan Best in Racing Literature award, and a Claymore award. You can see my books at http://SasscerHill.com/

Horses are too big for me. I'm a dog person!

I'm looking for new readers for my trilogy and for people to give the whole story a chance. Because the trilogy did not come out at the same time (all three books are out now), I felt I was given some unfair reviews because the first book left off with a cliffhanger. I just feel if some readers went into the trilogy with an open mind, they would be experiencing a deep story of suspense, greed, but most importantly, the importance of living through a nightmare with someone close. I hope you will give me that chance.
Anyway, here's my bio from my website. If you take the chance on me, I give you a very heartfelt thank you!
About Me
I was born, raised, and still live in northwest Iowa. I enjoy the intricacy and problem solving of creating stories and thankful to have achieved remission from leukemia to have the chance to see my literary dreams come to fruition. I teach reading to at-risk high school students and spend my time writing and watching Agents of Shield, Arrow, The Flash, Legends of Tomorrow, Sherlock, The Good Doctor, Project Runway and probably too much Netflix. I am an overprotective mom to my two cats, Boots and Joey.
My interests are varied. An Iowa Hawkeye football fan and longtime NASCAR fan, I hope to one day experience a perfect fall football day at Kinnick Stadium (with a magical win over Michigan, Iowa State, or Nebraska) and the Daytona 500. I could get lost for days at Walt Disney World or a good book. Bucket list items would be to write for television, re-envision my first favorite television show (The Pretender), meet the cast of my second favorite television show (Arrow), and create a storyline for a music video for my favorite band (Daughtry). ROCK ON!

Ray- Check out Lisa Gardner’s Quincy and Rainie series. The first one is called “The Perfect Husband” I read this series out of order and started with “Look Behind You” but they both were good. You can read Look Behind You as a stand-alone.
