Hi I'm Sarah, part time poster full time lurker. I'm 34 and live in Nottinghamshire, love reading and will give any book a go.I love Dean Koontz, Stephen King, Bill Bryson, Jaffrey Deaver, Richard Laymon, Peter Moore, J.R.R Tolkien, the list goes on and on and on and on and on and on.
I like loads of stuff but if I were to tell you everything you'd all get very bored and want to throw things at me so, for now, I will remain a mystery, wrapped in an enigma and sit here watching and waiting while I eat cheese.

Hi all! Was offline yesterday due to a dilated eye exam.
Hello, Bonjour, Hola etc etcI'm David Callinan.I've published around eight novels, mostly thrillers, some with HarperCollins and Orion and others self-published. Titles: 'The Immortality Plot', 'Knife Edge', 'Bodyswitch', 'An Angel On My Shoulder'. 'I've also published YA fantasy and a children's book series.
I've had a patchwork quilt of a life having been a musician (touring with Elton John, Rod Stewart and Billy Connolly), co-writer of a Celtic rock opera for the Edinburgh Festival starring Pierce Brosnan and also worked as a journalist and PR consultant. But, enough of the name dropping. I have eclectic tastes from Lee Child to William Boyd, or if I'm feeling intellectual, Samuel Beckett (not a thriller writer). I have two blogs, one on my website (www.davidcallinan.com) and one called Bookwriters (you can sign up here http://ow.ly/SZi6e.
I have been on Goodreads for a few years but never really taken part in the life of the site. I intend to explore Goodreads with added interest now that we have a bona fide thriller forum.

Greetings from hot and humid Florida. I've gravitated to thrillers since I was in elementary school, even if I didn't know that was what I was reading at the time.
Today, while I also enjoy memoirs, literary fiction, travel and adventure books and the occasional odd genre, I return to thrillers [ modern and historical] suspense and mysteries at least every other book, strictly for guilt free pleasure. I'm currently listening to Dissolution.
My interests include travel [my husband and I are off on a train trip next week, actually] reading of course! film, biking, needlework, environmental education and family.

Hi everyone, thank you to Sean for the invite. I have been a member of Goodreads since 2013 but really active since I joined NetGalley last January and spend a lot of time on that site.I really got into psychological thrillers just since joining NetGalley! My preferred genres before were literature, historical fiction, biographies/memoirs. So this is really fun for me, sort of having discovered another genre. I don't like gory, horror stories or police procedure type of thing (is that crime?). Anyway I will look forward to being more active in this group.
I will be going away for a week on Friday so when I return I'll jump right in.
