Please Introduce Yourself, Let's All Get To Know Each Other

With 26 years, you certainly must have some interesting stories!
I have a different background but love to read a good thriller and have written one that will be published in August.
I look forward to seeing your stories out there for us to read.

What's the nature of your thriller that's coming out? By the way, congratulations on being published!
Nick, what sort of project did you have in mind to write?
Bob

Thanks!
My thriller is about a soldier who falls into the world of organised crime. There's much more to it but all will be revealed in time.
Cheers

Hi to both of you. I am seeking reviewers for my psychological thriller called The Burning Man which is set in Orange County, California. Is it okay to post here? Think Silence of the Lambs but from inside Hannibal Lecter's head. If interested, e-mail me directly at www.solangeritchie.com.

I'm interested in both of your books and look forward to reading something from fellow group members. Keep us posted. I believe in and support/promote independent and first time authors like myself. All the best to both of you.
Glen

Hi Solange and welcome
to do welcome authors here, and you can introduce yourself and mention your books.
Then we have for all you indie authors, a promote your book thread, and free giveaways, in the authors area.
Welcome to the many authors we have and who join everyday

You are far from rude, Solange; you are a fine writer.

Bob

Let me know. Thanks.

Sure Glen I would be happy to do so. More than happy.

Welcome to the group Solange. You sound very busy. Enjoy!!

Note to Authors
We have asked repeatedly that any book promotion or 'read for review' requests be kept in the 'Book Promotions' folder. Other threads I've noticed are being hijacked for self promotion. I understand the importance of wanting to sell your books but EVERY AUTHOR wants to SELL their books, otherwise they wouldn't write them?!! It isn't easy for most authors, traditionally published or self published - but please respect that MOST readers know what they want to read too. Members here I'm sure do regularly look into the 'Book Promotions' folder. Therefore, can I respectfully ask that ALL promotion be done there please. We're very easygoing here and I do regularly check out other groups. They take a much tougher stance on this than we do.
Please don't take this personally, it's not an a personal affront to anyone, just a respectful request to follow our guidelines here so that all are happy.
Thanks

Thank You Janet, and well said.
Very important we keep to these standards, for the authors and readers.

Thanks Janet. I knew you weren't meant to promote your book here but was unaware that offering read and review copies also wasn't allowd and I did post a comment of that nature a while back and for that I apologize. Won't happen again :-)
No worries, Helen. I don't mind the asking, just in the appropriate, designated threads, that's all. :)

No worries Janet :-) Understandably so.

I'm a tiny author with one and half book self-published and even less sold, belonging somewhere between here and pulp fiction.

Yes, I do. I've practiced divorce law for 26 years and have some stories. I've got several ideas I want to explore.
And you?
Thanks for asking.
