With the new season starting, I got sucked back in to game of thrones. Finished book 4 and starting book 5. I have to say, I skip the chapters of the characters I don't care for.
I finished
which was really good. I also read
which I thought was great. Not my usual thing but this book was both hysterical and romantic. Now moving on to
The Sentinels series is awesome, Alisa. The first book was a little problematic, but I enjoyed the worldbuilding a lot.

OMG - Dangerous Hero Addict could not better describe Remy in Real
I seriously just had such an emotional repsonse to this book, still feeling euphoric after reading it and that is some high praise. Seriously just buy this, you will know what I mean when I call this a 6 star novel and the best of the year by far.
Finished
- glad I knew about the ending before or my iPod would have been thrown against the wall. Also read
- much darker than my usual UF reads. It was engrossing but I cannot say that I enjoyed it. Now listening to

I'm reading
, and really enjoying. A great look at modern and ancient Japan focused on two ancient swords, one blessed and one cursed, and how they affect the people who encounter them. I have a fascination with martial arts and swordsmanship and this book hits high on both.

I'm reading
and I'm loving it. Remy is totally my new book boyfriend....lol This is a contemporary romance but I tell you he is a lot like an alpha shifter. He's always smelling & touching her, very tactile. He has an "inner beast" of sorts, his eyes change colors, he marks her during sex, he always says "mine". It seems the author may read some pnr. Big sigh..............I'm totally crushing on him like a tween on Justin Beiber.

Yeah, it's such a sneaky book. I thought I'd be bored with the historical parts, but I've enjoyed them a lot.

Got halfway through listening to
and had to put it aside. Ivy and Rachel's creepy relationship just got too weird for me. Will try and pick it up again sometime. Listening to
instead.

Totally addicted to him...this book is a definite reread. I finished it days ago and am still feeling the emotional pull of it!

I started
, which is part of a really funny cozy mystery series about an IRS recovery agent and her cases and love life.

This book was dreadful. Barely a plot, characters that have no spark between them & bad sex scenes. You would think a vampire who lived 1,400 years would have some tricks up his sleeves. Some highlights of the sex------ he comments on her "nether lips" & because she's a virgin (or course) he has to "break through her maidenhead". What on earth? The line that pushed me completely over the edge? This little gem "Let me bite your nipple. Let me nurse from you". Yep, nurse from you. That was a no, no & a HECK NO from me.
After bouncing back from the emotional trauma of "nursing and maidenheads" I read
Man I loved these books. They are dark and the charaters are really messed up but the author just draws you in & makes you care about them. For me these are the kind of books that make you think about them for days. No HEA in sight though. Not traditional romances.
I started reading Sleeping with the Entity, and it seems like it's more of the humorous paranormal romance variety. It's pretty good so far. The heroine is opening a cupcake store. Already a +1, since I love cupcakes. The back and forth between the H/h is cute.
I just finished the first book in the Higlander series. I am starting this one tonight http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/11...
Ooops I tried to be fancy and embed my book like you guys do and it didn't work. I'm a dork. I am reading the 2nd book in the Higlander Series by Karen Moning. :)
Hi Amy. Click on add book/author and it will let you add the title or cover of the book.
Should look like this
. I think that gets everyone who is new to Goodreads.

Yes, Dragos, grrrrr. I love to reread that book.I have another hero for our list. Kelly. 6'4 and a calm wall of a man.
Read After Hours and really loved it. I have been very book lucky lately! I think, other than some of the over the top sex, this is a really realistic love story and I always like to mix up sheer fantasy with books like this.

It is a popcorn New Adult book. I liked the details of her job actually. lol
I get what you are saying about Remy being shifter like!
