On goodreads I have 499 friends. I just started using twitter I have 7 followers. I have 38 followers on my blog. 18 of that is through email and 20 is through blog lovin. I have 50 followers on blog lovin. I have 25 people following me through google plus. I have 666 views, 244 visitors, 23 likes and 37 comments.

Don't know if it's necessary to post the number of comments and likes, though.

It will be better than some people, but not as good as others, it will all depend on what the publisher is looking for.

Also does anyone know how to make their own stars like some bloggers use on their blogs.

Yikes!

Oh wow! That's almost an entire week! :O
It's not even that good ☹ the first book will be getting a generous 3 stars. i much prefer YA books.

I could that would be amazing since I need to get some through.

Oh dear, what happened?
Oh dear, what happened?

Long story short-ish:
Person 1 said in a blogpost that they are tired of hearing about how amazing Jane Austen is. Person 2 commented that she was so tired of all the hate on Jane Austen. Person 3 tweeted that they were tired of everyone hating on Austen. Then there were a lot of drama and it was still kind of fun. Then later tonight, person 4 said that she was tired of some people calling themselves experts just because they're studying literature and that we're all worth something in the community. Person 2 argued that because they're studying literature, they are experts. 2 and 4 went back and forth, and just wouldn't accepts each other and it ended with 4 saying that there's a hierarchy in the blogger community.
That last statement is just basically what p*ssed off people. Which is understandable, I think. And now person 4 has disappeared from the discussion. I don't know. Just a lot of drama that esqualated real quickly!

At least it's about bookblogging. But do you know how hard it is to find any theory on that subject? Jeez!

If you have any bookish newsletter subscription, delete them. Delete your credit card from online stores - this means you'll have to find your card whenever you wanna buy something and by the time you get up from the couch, maybe you don't want to buy it anyway. These two tips has helped me a bit of the way, as long with realizing that yes, it may be an actual problem - it kind of was for me *ashamed*

If you have any ..."
that is good advice!! I think I have to restrict myself from carrying extra money too....my physical shelf is overflowing with unreads too! :(
Sarah, I'll try to sign up for some challenges!

Yeah, that's good as well. Leave your credit card at home and carry cash with you when you're going shopping and only take a bit more than you know you'll be using :)
I'm programmed to walk past shops that have books. If I even stop to look I can hear my boyfriend sighing even if he's not there. He doesn't mind me buying kindle books so much though, the only books I'm allowed to purchase to my heart's content are kindle freebies, which is probably why I have so many ☺

On a different thought, how many of got fooled by the goodreads dating app announcement? I totally bought it!! *embarrassed*:P :P

Well, I didn't, but I'm kind of confused that it's not taken off the site yet :P

Well, I didn't, but I'm kind of co..."
Irene, sure! I'll PM you!
and, apparently people are still commenting on the thread, and they actually seem to want an app like that!! :O
If you think about some of the weirdos that contact you on goodreads, can you imagine what it would be like with a dating service?
