✿Claire✿ (clairelm) | 1222 comments Just finished The Homecoming Masquerade by Spencer Baum , looks like it's going to be a really good series.
I'm not going to let myself read anymore until tomorrow night when my exams are finally over, then I'm planning on hitting the books all weekend!!

Cathie (catitude) | 999 comments I finished reading If I Knew Then What I Know Now-- So What? by Steve Delsohn and Crooked Letter, Crooked Letter by Tom Franklin . I am currently at 15 books read for this challenge.

Skandia (sfgirl) | 1724 comments Finished Rock Chick (Rock Chick, #1) by Kristen Ashley
Not as good as I thought it would be. Loved Kristen Ashley's Colorado Mountain series but this one was not as good.
Now moving on with Anne's House of Dreams (Anne of Green Gables, #5) by L.M. Montgomery

Hi Vikki, I gave Crooked Letter, Crooked Letter 4stars. It was very good. What happened to Silas at the end left me squirming, because I don't like...(you know) and my heart went out to all that Larry had to endure.

message 714: by Cathie (new)

Cathie (catitude) | 999 comments Sorry everyone, I misposted in post 717; I only have 13 books read for this challenge so far. It was early in the morning and my eyes and brain were fried from reading all night long.

Yeah, I finally just adjust the size of the font on my computer screen instead of zooming each page. Ain't it grand to get old?

Cathie (catitude) | 999 comments Awww, maybe you're not meant to read it...wait...maybe that means I am meant to read it ~ picture a bugged out eyed picture here (wish I knew how to post pics on Goodreads).

I just put a request in for it...regular size print edition, lol

I gave it 4 stars as well. I was expecting it to be a bit more of a crime/mystery than it turned out to be. But overall I enjoyed it, and how the characters were portrayed. I definately felt sorry for all Larry had to go through for 25 years!

message 729: by Krystal (new)

Krystal (crazylittlebookpage) Cathie wrote: "What are you reading Krystal?"

I'm reading Blood Memory by Greg Iles ... It's good so far but creepy indeedy lol

message 730: by Cathie (new)

Cathie (catitude) | 999 comments Ohhh looks good Krystal! Guys stop it...my TBR list is getting way out of control, lol.

Hi Vikki :-). I think you and me both are on the same page for Crooked Letter, Crooked Letter. I'm glad I read it even though it was much more slower moving than I thought it would be. (There was a lot of repeating what had already been written many times before. That seems to be happening in a lot of fiction novels now.)

message 733: by Barbara ★ (new)

Barbara ★ I just finished listing to an audiobook Q is for Quarry (Kinsey Millhone, #17) by Sue Grafton which was pretty typical for this series. Enjoyable but not spectacular.

message 734: by Vikki (last edited Jan 24, 2013 03:55PM) (new)

Vikki (silverstarz) | 1278 comments I've now finished my 6th book :o)
The Innocent Man by John Grisham
Interesting read, although coming from a legal background I'm shocked at how everything happened the way it did. Admittedly it's written from one perspective but I can't imagine it's entirely inaccurate.

Cathie (catitude) | 999 comments I finished reading Send Me a Sign by Tiffany Schmidt . It was good; I gave it 3.5. Similar storyline to A Fault in Our Stars but without the wit and humor. I think this book would have gotten more attention if it hadn't come out in the same year as Fault.

Lisa Kay (lisakayalicemaria) | 15159 comments The other teams are doing mini book cover color challenges. Anyone interested in doing that? If so, what color? Should I post a poll and we can vote on the color?
