What am I not working on! Too many partials... UFOs galore!
Many quilts in all stages. From hand quilting a quilt for my mom, to appliques of Dragons for one quilt and nutcrackers for another, a grandmother's flower garden quilt... and many more.

Knitting a sweater for my daughter.
Cross stitching little kitten ornaments.
Cross stitching my own design of Viggo Mortensen as Aragorn.

too many... but I don't get bored cause I switch out what I am doing. LOL
Now if I could only finish one before I start a new one!!

I haven't done much of anything since I finished the Show your Colors shawl for Sheila's Shawls. I started a scarf with a rabbit tracks lace pattern but haven't made much progress. There was frost this morning though so I should "make tracks" and work on it!

I've read that you can get a real workout doing it with something like wool!

What I'm working on... hmmm it's clost to Christmas so working on some gifts for family. Currently working on a stacking toy pattern for my neice.

I reading The Spirit Ring by Lois McMaster Bujold as well as Ruth by Elizabeth Gaskell.

I hope to get the new knitting mystery Knit, Purl, Die by Anne Canadeo tonight after work and start reading it as well!

I'm working on a crocheted Totoro, a miniature crocheted Homer Simpson, and a crocheted dishcloth.

Over on Ravelry Enchanted Forest group (which is devoted to the writings of Patricia Wrede is starting up a KAL for the books. We are planning afghans and squares from the novels. It's interesting and we've got some great ideas but I haven't started actually working on squares yet.

I've started my spring knitting pressie programme - fingerless gloves in spring colours with felt flowers sen onto the back. These gloves are wonderful to keep the bulk of the hand warm whilst allowing page turning/clickerty needle capacity.

i have been on a real dishcloth craze. i have made several medallion (round) dishcloths and used the last of each color to make a square dishcloth.

i have been reading science fiction. i am working through the "ender" series by orson scott card and the "colonization" series by harry turtledove.

I've been eying that project for a while now and finally broke down and got it.

I also started crocheting the pouch purse from A Stitch in Crime by Betty Hechtman and I'm designing an afghan square for The Enchanted Forest Afghan I'm making for the books by Patricia C. Wrede -- It's going to be Morwen's garden.

BTW: I love the spring fingerless gloves -- they are wonderful!

Have now finished the afghan, and am working on a pair of brown mittens with a pale blue snowflake pattern on them, for yours truly.

Reading, among other things, After Elizabeth: The Rise of James of Scotland and the Struggle for the Throne of England and a piece of chicklit on loan from my knitting teacher, The Essential Charlotte.

I swear we swap around more books at knitting. Mostly mysteries and what could broadly be described as chicklit.

Just finished reading the first 7 Tea Shop mysteries by Laura Childs and am now reading A is for Alibi by Sue Grafton and getting read to read The Moonstone by Wilkie Collins. They aren't mysteries, but I'm also reading Dark of the Moon by P.C. Hodgell and Wizard's First Rule by Terry Goodkind.

Hiya, I'm new to the group. I do needlepoint and was doing knitting but haven't since before the summer so now have to wait to start it again when I go sit at the knitting store to have someone watch me to make sure I remember the stitches I had learned. In needlepoint usually tuesday is the day I go to stitch and chat at the needlepoint store but wasn't in the mood to go today. So will probably take out the needlepoint I'm working on when I get offline. I started working on a small initial monogram canvas that will be put in a insert on a pocket book. That I hope will go fast. have almost 2 of my initials done and just have to do the last one and the background which I started already. The other main project I'm working on is 1 of 4 canvas which will be made into a bear. It has flowers, a hive and probably a bee or two. Just doing plain continental stitches with that since it's a gift. But I don't work on it much at home. I do more reading. romance, mystery, thrillers etc.

Well I'm trying to knit again. Not working out too well. I already ripped what I'm starting on at least 10 times already. I saw it someplace this weekend at a festival and decided to go to the knitting store to make one myself. It's a neck warmer (really a scarf that is shorter only going around neck then you can put a button on it to close it. the yarn I got is Blackstone Tweed it's mostly black with alittle bits of white. And the first 2 rows of knitting goes fine it's when I go into the rows of knit 4, YO, knit 2 together, knit 2 then back. I keep ending up with a extra stitch. My guess is the yarn I split and that is why it is happening so I get mad rip it all out since I'm not good at ripping out a roll and still have the rest left. I'm blaming the yarn. I should probably try a different type. I wanted something with more than one color. But event he one I have is not what I thought.
I'm also working on needlepoint The monogram is almost finish I hope to finish this weekend. And then I have to buckle down working on the canvases for the bear. I'm close to finishing one of the canvases that has just the two bear paws.

Well, if I could knit much just now (unhappy muscles in one arm, which I need to rest), I'd be working on a Christmas stocking (Christmas tree with presents underneath), and a Palindrome scarf ( http://www.cometosilver.com/patterns/... ). It's ribbed and cabled, so is identical on both sides.

i am a relatively new quilter but reading tops my list of things to do. just finished the latest in the elm creek quilt series...good story...always a happy ending. but it did give me the push to work a bit on actual quilting rather than just read about it.
