Just let me know what dates work for you. I would need a couple of days after release day to get my hands on a copy.

Does May 9th for the Unforgiven, May 12th for Sparrow Hill Road, and May 30th for Skin Game work for you?
So I have news--The next and final Hallows book is coming out September 9th, 2014 (Yes, this year!) and is titled, THE WITCH WITH NO NAME. You can read more here:http://kimharrison.wordpress.com/2014...
Is anyone up for that series read we've been talking about? We need to finish before the last book comes out so that gives us about 4 to 4 1/2 months to do it. Any takers?
I am. I'm about to re-read the series to try to catch any dangling plot threads/foreshadowing and it would be much more fun to do as a group.
We read the first one so we should read this one too. We still have to find out if Ava is a full Irinia or if she has a mixed heritage. I just bopped over to Amazon and pre-ordered it.
We might need to set up a May timeline for the buddy reads - it's going to be a busy month! So far we have:
May 9th - The Unforgiven by Alyssa Day
May 12th - Sparrow Hill Road by Seanan McGuire
May 30th - Skin Game by Jim Butcher
? - The Singer by Eliabeth Hunter (releases on May 6th)
? - The Crimson Campaign by Brian McKellan (releases on May 6th)
? - Dead Witch Walking by Kim Harrison
I know. May has some awesome books coming out. There's a ton of YA books that I'm looking forward to reading too. At the top is
. The series is a combination of Cinderella meets The Bachelor and I adore it.
Darcy,I received an e-mail that the Unforgiven would be delayed for another week (the kindle version at least. Would you mind if we moved the date to the 15th?
Lisarenee,
Do you have any preference for when we start the Crimson Campaign, the Singer, and Dead Witch Walking?

That works for me.

I looked at Amazon and they had Unforgiven slated as the 20th. I wonder which is right?
I've got both but timing wise The Singer works best first. I have some blog commitments this month and once I start reading Crimson, which is more intense that most books, I don't want to be interrupted.
It's the 20th - I received another email yesterday. The Singer works as the next buddy read for me - I agree that the Crimson Campaign is going to be a book that requires more concentration that usual.
Just checked and right now we've got Crimson Campaign tentatively scheduled for then. Hmmmm.....Just thought I'd check what I had listed so far for June and the following are coming out:
June 3rd - Shield of Winter (A Psy/Changeling Novel) by Nalini Singh
June 10th - Azagoth: A Demonica Novella (1001 Dark Nights) by Larissa Ione
June 17th - Shattered: The Iron Druid Chronicles, Book Seven by Kevin Hearne
Anyone want to do buddy reads of the above?

I'm up for Shield of Winter and Azagoth. But will need a few days after release to get the book.
I think a new Midnight Breed novella is coming out as well by Lara Adrian, but I'm not current on her books. I think I got 5 or so in before I stopped. One of these days I have to get back to that series.
I'm in for all three books. Shield of Winter and Shattered were on my list and I've been meaning to read something by Larissa Ione so that works for me.
Is anyone interested in reading Shaman Rises by CE Murphy? It comes out on June 24th and is the final book in the Walker Papers series.
Sara wrote: "Is anyone interested in reading Shaman Rises by CE Murphy? It comes out on June 24th and is the final book in the Walker Papers series."For sure, I like this series.
Sara wrote: "I'm in for all three books. But if that doesn't bother you, read away. lol
Here is my summer new release reading list - if anyone wants to do a buddy read for any of them just let me know.July 1, 2014 – Bloodshifted by Cassie Alexander
July 29, 2014 – Poison Promise by Jennifer Estep
July 29, 2014 – Magic Breaks by Ilona Andrews
August 5, 2014 – Downfall by Rob Thurman
August 12 – Cursed Moon by Jaye Wells
August 19, 2014 – Visions by Kelley Armstrong
August 19, 2014 – Percy Jackson: The Greek Gods by Rick Riordan
August 26, 2014 – The Broken Eye by Brent Weeks
September 2, 2014 – The Winter Long by Seanan McGuire
September 2, 2014 – Shifting Worlds: Mercy Thompson
September 2, 2014 – Daring by Elliot James
September 2, 2014 – Maplecroft: The Borden Dispatches by Cheri Priest
re: The Rachel Morgan series re-read...The Witch With No Name releases on September 9th. That gives us around 17 weeks to read the 12 books in the series - there is also a book of short stories, a guide, and 2 graphic novels if we want to be thorough.
In May, we have scheduled:
The Singer - May 14th
The Unforgiven - May 20th
The Crimson Campaign - May 25?
Skin Game - May 30
Would we be able to squeeze Dead Witch Walking in around the the 17th or the 22nd? The Crimson Campaign will be a book that requires time, concentration, and possibly note-taking but the Unforgiven should be an easy, fun read.

Today, I buy a lot of novellas or short stories from authors I've never read to see if I enjoy their writing style.

I could do on release day, as I'll get the audios, but the others I would need a couple of days after to get the books.
Also, since a few of them release on the same day, can we stagger them?
I'll create buddy reads for:July 29, 2014 – Poison Promise by Jennifer Estep
July 29, 2014 – Magic Breaks by Ilona Andrews
Anyone else up for anything in July?
I'm all in for Poison Promise and Mercy Thompson!! I'm even willing to drop what I'm currently reading to read either of those. My only possible issue is I only get paid once a month, at the beginning of the month, so there's a tiny chance I'd have to wait a couple days to buy Poison Promise, since its my great-nephew's first birthday and I plan to shamelessly spoil him!! Lol!!Anyone up for Blood Games, a Chicagoland Vampire book on August 5? I will absolutely drop everything and ignore everyone but the aforementioned baby for that book!!
Angie wrote: "Anyone up for Blood Games, a Chicagoland Vampire book on August 5? I will absolutely drop everything and ignore everyone but the aforementioned baby for that book!!"I'm up for this one.
Would anyone be interested in reading
(Allegiance of Honor) by Nalini Singh or
( Stiletto ) by Daniel O'Malley with me?
