Mary, Tina Reber's series takes place in Rhode Island and she's on the list-
Love Unscripted
Love Unrehearsed
Good to know thanks. It's been super slow at work since January. So when I'm bored here and all my work is done, I've been looking author's up.
I don't think I'll even get all the states done. I just figure I'll read the ones I own first and then move on to whatever I can get from the library.
Mary I have Delaware and Rhode IslandMaureen Johnson lives in Delaware
And Sarah Maclean lives in Rhode Island
They may have been born there, lived there at one time or lived there now.
What I noticed during my searches is that there's a good portion of authors that don't list the states they live in. (not that I blame them I don't think I would either) so this made the challenge interesting to say the least. I searched more authors websites for this challenge that I have for any other.
Yeah I noticed that too and I tried to use the author's with no known state in the first 3 levels. Maureen Johnson looks like a YA author. I'm not a huge fan of YA. So I didn't really look up any of the authors that were bolded in the PDF. It says the bolded ones are doing the YA part.
But I'll make a note of her under Delaware.
I have Sarah Maclean on my WL so I really appreciate knowing she's from Rhode Island.
Found this one while trolling the freebies when I watched American Idol tonight. It's set in South Dakota if anyone needs that state:
There is a Boxed Set on Amazon called "To Die For" with 8 books inside for only .99 cents. 7 of the 8 books have authors on the list. I thought this was a very good deal and wanted to share it with everyone. These are the books inside of it that would work for the list.

2.

I think all these authors are on the list. I can't wait to start reading them.
I got that too. I got this one the other day and it has 3 RT author books in it and 6 books total. They're shorter books but around 200 pgs each and it's .99. But the box set doesn't come up on Goodreads. It's called Timeless Quills Timeless Collection-One
RT authors in it are:
and
. Those are the 3 RT books that I remember off the top of my head, there might be another.
I just went back and updated my list from the RT website. I've noticed that a lot of authors have dropped off. I count 105 since I originally created the spreadsheet at the beginning. A few were added but not as many as I dropped off. Fortunately, there was only 1 that I read for the challenge.
Hi Ann,As long as the author was listed at some point on the list, you can use them. So no worries if they dropped off. If they were at any time signed up, they count :)

Hi Ann,
Ditto what Fran Said.
Thanks Fran for answering!

freebie today on Amazon. This is a pseudonym of Jade Lee."
I just added the book today. I am going to go get it, while I remember.
Freebie on Amazon today. This is co-written by Connie Mason who is not on the RT list, unless I missed her. But Mia Marlow is so I'm assuming it would count:

"Thanks Mary!! Brought it right away, I love Julie Garwood, especially when they are so cheap!!
Thanks so much for listing these books! I got all of them. I'm already trying to figure out when I can read them. :)
2 more today:
this is apparently the same book as this:
but the freebie is listed under the first cover I posted and the name Mia Marlowe. Looks like Emily Bryan's books are being rereleased on Kindle under the name Mia Marlowe.
All I do is search the Top 100 freebies on Amazon everyday. I've been doing that since I got my Kindle. I could probably find more if I searched the romance ones but I'm too lazy.
I'm going to have to start doing that each day too. I love my iPad mini. It has become a permanent fixture in my life since December.

You're going to love it! I can't imagine going anywhere without it now. Plus, there's so many different reading apps to get books from. I really like that fact about it. I'm actually going to have to go to the library today to get some male author books and I'm like a real book, what's that?
Do we have a page number limit on books for this challenge? I found this book Lavender Vows on Amazon free today but it's only 69 pages. I wasn't for sure if we needed to use more than 100 pages or not.Free book on Amazon:

Thanks! Oh and thanks for the info on the earlier post. I haven't read any short books yet so I'm glad that I knew before I did.
2 new freebies today:
author's bio says from OK and book info looks like it's set in OR
(BDSM theme)
author bio says from NY and book is set in TX
Just an FYI for those still working on this one. The updated list link no longer works. Now when you click on it, it asks for a user name and password. I can still open the PDF. I was going through the Kindle freebies and recognized a name and wanted to look it up. No biggy since I have way more books than I need for this but still look up ones that catch my eye.
