Lilac (lilac_wales) | 11 comments The Harry Potter series and The Secret Garden.

I've read Eragon twice too, but that was an accident (the first time I was about 9 and I forgot I'd read it so I read it again last year by mistake).

message 60: by Becky (new)

Becky (booklovingcoffeeaddict) | 4889 comments I have read all 7 Harry Potter books at least 10 times and re-read them every year. I keep re-reading the Twilight series and Hunger games, and I anticipate that Maze Runner will fall into that category as well.

Also, I have read "Before I Fall" by Lauren Oliver 2x. FANTASTIC YA book!

There are more, but those are the most serious addictions I have...

message 64: by Anna (new)

Anna Adams (annaadams) | 6 comments I've reread Harry Potter at least a hundred times, and Anne of Green Gables, too. Isn't it amazing how there are always new things to notice in books you've read over and over again?

message 65: by J.S. (new)

J.S. Frankel | 410 comments Never been a Harry Potter fan--sorry!--but one novel I've read numerous times has been Gone South, by Robert S. McCammon. He used to write really cheesy horror novels, so when I picked this up years back I wasn't expecting much.

I was wrong. It is a FABULOUS book, one of the finest of the Southern Gothic Horror types, only there's more suggested horror than shown horror. It's really a journey of self-discovery and it's totally excellent in every way.

Also read and re-read The Tower and Death Bytes...but that's because I wrote them.:)

That is one reason I love to re-read books. I love finding new bits of info when I thought there couldn't possibly be more. :-)

message 67: by Catherine (new)

Catherine My all time favorite book has to be The Fault in Our Stars by John Green. I've re-read that like 3 times already. It's flawlessly written. I cry every time!

message 75: by Hannah (new)

Hannah (bourneleader96) “If one cannot enjoy reading a book over and over again, there is no use in reading it at all.” - Oscar Wilde

I read a whole bunch of books over again. I've read The Hobbit at least four times. Sometimes I have to read books again to remember what was going on in the series if I'm about to read the next installment. I've read Harry Potter, Percy Jackson, and the Tale of Despereaux over and over. I'm planning on re-reading The Mortal Instruments and The Infernal Devices.

I just started reading Thirst vo. 1 today! :)

Rainbow Moonstone (rainbowmoonstone) | 24 comments Remember Me by Christopher Pike Remember Me (Remember Me, #1) by Christopher Pike

It really wasn't that good the second time around. However, the Remember Me series was one of the first I ever read and it helped pave the way to my love of books

message 78: by Trinity (new)

Trinity (tsundokuproblem) Beautiful Creatures (Caster Chronicles, #1) by Kami Garcia It's a big book, but I did it! It's so amazing! :-D

message 79: by Becky (new)

Becky (booklovingcoffeeaddict) | 4889 comments I love that you read that again, Trinity! It IS a great book!

message 80: by Trisha (new)

Trisha I created a shelf called "read and reread" for the books I've reread. So far it's only 17: The Harry Potter books, The Mortal Instruments, Thirteen Reasons Why by Jay Asher, Before I Fall by Lauren Oliver, Fallen by Lauren Kate (just the first book, I've been meaning to get back to rereading the others), and the two Divergent books. I have a lot of books to read for the first time though, so I'm done with the rereading for a little while.

message 81: by A (new)

A | 48 comments I've re-read Divergent, Insurgent, The battle of the Labyrinth (PJO #4) and The dark and hollow places so many times that I've lost count.

message 84: by Jessica (new)

Jessica (Odd and Bookish) (oddandbookish) I've reread Alice in Wonderland/Through the Looking Glass multiple times.

message 85: by Bria (new)

Bria (waddlyotcha) Ha. What don't I re-read? I'm currently re-reading the Percy Jackson books, as well as the Kane Chronicles. Honestly, it's very rare I stumble across a book I like that I won't re-read. I love most of Tamora Pierce's books, Diana Wynne Jones, as well as Patrcia C. Wrede's. All of Jane Austen's classics...so many! I'll throw out some more...

The Mysterious Benedict Society (The Mysterious Benedict Society, #1) by Trenton Lee Stewart Dragonsinger (Harper Hall, #2) by Anne McCaffrey The Shamer's Daughter (The Shamer Chronicles, #1) by Lene Kaaberbøl Inkheart (Inkworld, #1) by Cornelia Funke The Ruins of Gorlan (Ranger's Apprentice, #1) by John Flanagan

message 86: by Emeli (new)

Emeli (thgfangirl27) | 31 comments I've read the twilight saga like seven times and THG I've read like 3 times

message 87: by Mandiann (new)

Mandiann (goodreadscommandiann) | 6882 comments I have reread too many books to count. I think the books I have reread the most would have to be:

The Hunger Games Trilogy Boxset (at least 12 times in 2012 but more than that in total)

Harry Potter Boxed Set (at least 5 times perhaps more)

A Time for Dancing (at least 4 times, perhaps more)

This year I have been focusing on reading new books and only reread 3 books in total. I will celebrate not reading the hunger games trilogy for a full year by reading it January 1st, 2014.

message 88: by Tesni (new)

Tesni (tezbuzz) | 46 comments Harry potter. Read it so many times. Also lord of the rings, abhorsen series, hunger games, the little house on the prairie books, Mallory towers, his dark materials, coram boy, noughts and crosses, plus lots more.

Feel like I don't have much time to reread now so not doing the good reads challenge next year as it pressures me into reading new books rather than rereading. That said I have a very long tbr and I love new books.

message 89: by Jordan (new)

Jordan (TOMS_A_TREKKIE) | 10 comments I've read the twilight series at least three times each but i've read breaking dawn like 8 times at least. I recently have started reading the books I read when I was kid. Books like the Percy Jackson series and Maximum ride.

Sadly, this probably isn't all of them but in my defence, I reread so many books if I love them so much or if a new book in the series comes out and I forgot what happened in the other books.. I guess this shows how much I must love reading to reread all these again. Oh well :)
