READ 10/10--Finished!!

Completed: 10/10 DONE!
Congrats to everyone who finished! ;)
O. M. G. Why have I not read this before?! ;) I absolutely loved it - the characters, the settings, the plot twists. Especially when the author deviated from the usual "lack of communication" plot device that I could see coming a mile away - and then it just fizzled (in a good way)! ;) I know when I start snorting with laughter on the first page that I'm going to love a book... ;)
This was a re-read for me, but it's been such a long time that I forgot the who-did-it parts! And I definitely forgot how much I liked Eric! ;)
Cute little road trip type historical, though the scenes with the children "finding homes" was a little unbelievable.
I haven't read a NR book in a long time, but she's like sinking into a warm bubble bath - relaxing and comfortable.
Slow in the beginning, but picked up, especially at the end. Figured out who the killer was when they were initially introduced, so the mystery was kind of meh.
Alright, but felt lacking. Liked the setting, somewhat liked the hero, but heroine's stubborness about doing things on her own got tired after awhile.
Another re-read, but a favourite. And with an ebook version available from the library, I have to try out my new iPod, right? ;)
I've had a copy of this on my bookshelf for ages, but never got around to reading it. It was an interesting historical fantasy, with a character that could easily have been annoyingly sweet but was nothing close to. Reminds me a bit of Julie Garwood.
Blech. Hated the main character, hated the whole everyone wanted to rape her plot, but then she fell in bed with (and straight in love with) the first guy she met - not knowing what he was! What really ticked me off was that she said her step-father taught her all about mythology, yet she didn't know what a kitsune was! The only thing that kept me reading was Dorian.
I don't usually read inspiration/Christian romances, but I was pleasantly surprised with this one (not heavy on the preaching, thankfully). So much so, that I've ordered the other two in the series...

I do love that entire series. such deliciousness!

Hahaha. Thanks!! Yeeeeeeeeeah. I'm starting out with 5 for next month, and already I'm trying to figure out how to get it up to 10. I love it when books I randomly read just happen to fall into a category. :)

2. Happy Birthday!: Read a book from a January birthday celebrant's GR bookshelf whose name/nickname starts with the same letter as yours OR match the date of your birthday (1-31) to a member on the January birthday list.
