Lauri I am looking to locate a book that is dystopian in nature. There is something about a chocolate drink that affects memory or thinking.

Not much to go on, but I am still hoping. TY for looking.

All These Things I've Done by Gabrielle Zevin?

Thanks for adding the link, Natalie, I was on my phone and couldn't link. Lauri, the sequel to that book just came out, too: Because It Is My Blood.

Lauri Andria: Lauri, the sequel to that book just came out, too

If this is the book, and I should know by tomorrow, I'll add both to my to-read shelf. All These Things I've Done, made it to the shelf already.

Natalie | 149 comments I enjoyed that book a lot, I hope you/your friend does as well.

Lauri As much as I feel that All These Things I've Done (Birthright, #1) by Gabrielle Zevin sounds correct, I spoke to the friend and she had a title. This Book Is Not Good for You (Secret, #3) by Pseudonymous Bosch Which I think sounds nothing like her original description. Oh well, I'll probably read them both.
Thank you everyone for your help.

Oh, Pseudonymous Bosch is hilarious! VERY different from the Gabrielle Zevin books, but a good fun read nonetheless. Don't know that I'd call it dystopian, but OK.
