Help! I need a new series to read!

Ok Martina--you have GOT to get those Jeaniene Frost's read girl. You are missing a GREAT series, so get them off the TBR pile and get reading.
Also, for the fantasy type books, read any of Andre Norton's Witch World books. There are about 36 of them, but they are in interlocking "series" so you don't have to read them in any specific order--EXCEPT--I would read Witch World first--it kind of sets the premise for what the rest of the series is about. There are 2 books with that particular set of "main characters" then 3 books featuring the h/H's kids, then you get a bunch of books that are set in the world, but not particularily those people. Then, the last book in the series goes back to a bunch of the people from previous books. The Warding of Witch World is that last book.
Also, have you tried Tanya Huff? Not really romance, more UF type books. She writes "straight" UF and then she does UF "lite" as well.
And have you tried the Argeneau series yet? A Quick Bite is the first one. Vampire PNR "lite"

Anyone else got some top faves?

The Charley Davidson series. Very funny!

Did you read all of the Elemental Assassin series by Jennifer Estep or the Dresden Files by Jim Butcher? Two of my favorite UF series.
I also love the Iron Druid Chronicles by Kevin Hearne.

Also really like the Blood Singer series.

And I so recommend Andre Norton's books whether you want straight fantasy (the Witch World) or science fiction. The first one of hers I ever read was

ETA link for Retribution, released today.

I think we're up to 5 possible new series for me so far. Anyone else got a favorite that's not listed yet?

or her Dorina Bascab

both are great reads and I really really enjoyed them.
Kelley Armstrong's Women of the Other world is a great series.

Nalini Singh's Guild Hunter's

Those are just a few that I really liked if you like the PNR / UF.
If you don't mind comtemporary romance with a lot of humor and alpha males I highly recommend Kristen Ashley's Rock Chick series. I recommended it to a friend who really doesn't like straight romance and she totally loved it.

Also her Dream Man series:

Martina, I saw another post where you mentioned you have a Nook. Dominion is currently not for sale on B&N for the Nook. However, you can contact the author and she can sell you an ePub copy.

Congrats on the new baby, happy reading.

Second i feel the same way. I'm a total book addict lol and am hunting for a new series myself.
I would def recommend the following:
(1) dark hunter series by sherrilyn kenyon
(2) psy changling by nalini singh (saw someone recommended the arch angels and the are good as well but i got hooked on her through the psy changling series)
(3) breed series by lora leigh (this is a great series but is erotica/deep sexual language) but story line is still excellent
(4) highlander series flowing into fae series by karen marie moning.

I've read the Night Huntress Books and Divergent/Insurgent. Generally I'm not into YA, so the others aren't super interesting to me, but Divergent/Insurgent are pretty darn superior! Thanks for the recs, Zoe!

I have Red Headed Stepchild on my Nook but haven't read it yet - I'll have to tackle that next since you rec'd it! The others I've read except Eternal Rider - I'll look into that one, too.

Diana, I've read all of these but am just backing up and getting into the Highlander series - I read the first one last month. Good rec's though!

Undisclosed :)
The truth is twisted"
Jon, authors? Links? I'm getting either no hits or multiple hits for these titles so I don't know which books you're recommending . . . or if you're writing esoteric poetry. Though honestly those three together make a pretty good poem.

Accidentally Friends series

Hell Duology

And CONGRATULATIONS on the new baby :)

The truth is twisted was just a tag line for the book

Megan, sorry about that. Probably due to my lack of coding skills! Her email is: selund2012@gmail.com
ETA: link above it working now. Thanks for letting me know!

Be patient with the Sabina Kane (Red Headed) Series. Many, including me, weren't nuts about it for the first 100 pages or so, but I can honestly say that it is now one of my favorite series of all time and I am so sad it is over!

Accidentally Friends series

Yup, I've already read Dakota Cassidy, except the most recent one and that's already on my physical bookshelf. Btw, Dakota is hilarious on Twitter, too.

You might try Coreene Callahan's Dragonfury series. Fury of Fire

Also thought of Linda Wisdom:

and the Mysteria Lane anthologies which are now together in

Ann Aguirre write a great sci-fi/romance series. I think you would enjoy it since you like Linnea Sinclair.

An oldie, but goodie from the fantasy world is Terry Brooks' Landover series. The world building isn't as heavy as his Shannara series and it has more romance.

For romantic fantasy, I love Jacqueline Carey's original Kushiel trilogy.

Nicole Peeler writes a great UF/PNR blend with a fun and spunky protagonist.

Jenn Bennett's Arcadia Bell series has a male lead to swoon for, Mr. Lon Butler.

Here are a few newer series that feature kick-butt ladies with swoon-worthy men:
Shawntelle Madison's Coveted series featuring OCD werewolf Natalya.

Suzanne Johnson's Sentinels series set in a post-Katrina New Orleans

Pip Ballantine and Tee Morris' steampunk series featuring Wellington Books and Eliza Braun.

Here are a few first books in what look to be strong series to come:

Hope some of these help!

Enjoy your time with your baby! It goes so fast!
are you perhaps not getting the thumbnail picture Andrea? I haven't seen any little blue boxes when I'm reading the thread.

Congratulations on the new baby.
Two series that I think haven't been mentioned and are in my "top-of-all-reads"
Elizabeth Hunter's Elemental Mysteries - start with "A Hidden Fire.(I don't know how to add the book icon, sorry!)
Ann Charles' "Dance of the Winnebegos"

A better link to Elizabeth Hunter's first book is

I'd especially love to find some more of the following:
* Otherworld romance - like Robin D. Owens' Heartmate series or Jayne Ann Krentz's Ghosthunter/Harmony series
* Great romantic fantasy - like Anne Bishop's Black Jewels series or Michelle Sagara's Elantra series
* Fun & sassy PNR - like Shanna Swendson's Katie Chandler series, Michele Bardsley's Broken Heart series, or anything by Shelly Laurenston
* Those UFs where you just LOVE the alpha male - like Ilona Andrews' Kate Daniels series or Patricia Brigg's Mercy Thompson series.
* Futuristic Romances - like anything by Linnea Sinclair
You get the point. I want to hear about the books you LOVE, not the books you thought were so-so. So, hit me up! What have you got?
