I'm sorry I started our own thread. What do y'all want to read chapters/day?

That's fine, I'll just archive the new thread so we can use the BotM one...maybe more people will join in :)
There are only 14 chapters so I'm assuming they are longer....so do you want to plan on like 3 chapters a day (if I'm figuring right that will be around 75 pages give or take a few).

Book of the month
It was voted on by the whole group. We'll be reading the whole series, one book each month.

The whole group voted to read the soulless series together, one book per month...so for now just the first one. The second one will be next month.
Clare, here is the discussion thread for Soulless in case you got lost :)

I am now safely arrived. That storm made my trip take forever. But I'll be here for a week. Doing family things and reading. :)

Start the 31st? Or maybe the 2nd?
Sheri and I thought because of the holidays we would read something short next week. We can pick up on the second book the next week.
It looks interesting/Hot.

Sorry to hear that. Hope ya'll feel better soon. Hope you have a Merry Christmas.

Clare Bear, I'm sorry it is terrible there. I already received my Christmas present from family and love it. They gave me an Ipad.
Soulless was good but I missed our normal discussion. When we use the main thread instead of our own we have not commented as much as usual. B.I.A. will be dormant until Wednesday.
I hope you have a great Christmas!Think happy thoughts!!

Just openned it and already love it!! Now when I receive free books from authors it will go straight to device. Before I had to transfer everything. I can read all my Kindle books on my Ipad before I either had to convert the book or read it on my phone.
You didn't bum me out. You were not your usual happy self. Happy to see rainbows.
We are reading Master at Arms. I started a thread. Do you have the book? It is free at Amazon.

I keep hearing about Netgallery. It sounds cool. What book did you get? Sherry receives books from there. I think it is ARC books. I have a Nook and the transferring of everything was driving me crazy.

I am hesitant about starting this one. Any thoughts?

That sounds cool. I will have to check it out.
If I purchase a book for m B&N it will show up on my Nook but if I buy a book from some other company or receive one by email I had to transfer it to my Nook. The Ipad I can do everything on it. Love that option.

Which book are thinking about starting? If you are referring to Halfway to the Grave, I loved it. Cat is a Kick-Ass herione and Bones is so Hot. What is not to love. It has plenty of action.

Hey guys :). I'm out of town until Wednesday sometime so I haven't been on here much. I love Netgalley. I get books from there all the time...it's great!
I hope you love your iPad! I'm like Clare.,,I have my Kindle for reading and my iPod for Internet, so I'm good. Though if I got one as a gift I definitely would love it!!!
Clare- I mod in two groups besides this one, but two of them go together - Making Connections and Making Connections YA. I would post links but I can't from my iPod. The groups are for review books only....check them out if you like writing reviews. I think between the two groups there are over 400 books looking for reviews.

I'm sorry to hear that you are miserable Clare Bear! Just think: soon you will be home and reading books with all of us.
My brother keeps me pretty busy, so I haven't been around much. Also, my mom lives in the middle of nowhere, and, I kid you not, pays $10 for every gig of data she uses over the 10 gig limit in a month. So, unless I want to be poor, I don't use the internet a whole bunch while I am here.
I am up for Master of Arms though. I am leaving here on Friday, but it takes two days to get home usually.
Also, I like the individual reading threads (for buddy reads) better as well. I feel more comfortable yammering when it is just us girls.
PS. Clare, I saw you 'requesting' me - even if we aren't paired for pick-it-for-me, we could do our own private one. I'd be up for it, if you wanted. ;)
BIA - I hope you all have a fabulous holiday, and if that holiday is Christmas or starts in fifteen minutes - moreso! Take care of yourselves, esp. if travelling or fighting the blues (poor Clare Bear).
Talk to you all soon. ;)

(Like Cat?) that now Leigh has upped her "tools of the B.I.A. Trade" all James Bond 00Leigh with her iPad yay! I will be in the 'cuse' till mid afternoon on the 26th. Wow that much $ to go over? Yikes!! I'm going to say it again yikes. So umm Sheri love how was your holiday? Let me know how much to read when we start.
I am glad everyone is having a good time with family. Looking forward to ya'll safe return and our next buddy read.

I will totally pick you an extra pick.
Merry Christmas BIA. =D
Also, Lys is in Lys-sis mode, and her powers are limited here. She is bogged down with cookies and kolache. And lots of alcohol.

I can neither remember the book I was reading or the book sample title but I do get tormented on a regular basis by my brain to find out what it was, so here goes...
There is 2 girls sitting on a red velvet love seat type deal. They are watching escalator 's & they seem to be in limbo, waiting to find out if they are heading to heaven or to hell possibly? It's described like an airport terminal & some people have been waiting a really long time. I think.. & this is where it gets fuzzier, that one or both may have to go accomplish something before the choice is made?
So that's it. Does this ring any bells for anyone? If not what thread do you go to to ask completely vague questions like that?
Sheri I just saw that message you put about those two other groups! They sound fantastic . When you're not being domestic, reading, or fighting crime I'd like to ask you a few questions about these groups:) hope your day goes well all. I'm going to go back to reading for now:) later
