Hi K M. Thanks for stopping by.
It's pretty low key here, but we do keep in touch and let each other know about unCons and other happening things.

Welcome to goodreads. It's very useful for keeping track of books you want to read.
best wishes
Debbie

Debbie, I read Crossing Paths a while back - that was a brilliant idea for a book by the way.
I'm aetm in bookcrossing, and seems I'm more doing goodreads these days than BC. A part of the reason is that there isn't anything local happening here, so either I release stuff randomly... or release to friend with similar taste etc. I'm into procedurals, crime, thrillers, and (non-cozy and more action-y) mysteries from around the world, the more exotic the better. I wish the US postage rates to around the world were way cheaper.... but if anyone has a similar taste to books like mine, and the books I've rated are with "bookcrossing" label, they may be open :) at least ask. I'd love to get some more books to travel at least in the US (budget permitting). Especially if you have something that might be interesting for a swap, even better...

It's is very hot here and supposed to be sweltering tomorrow!
I saw that it was super hot this year in oz. 52 degrees in some places! Stay hydrated and keep your head covered, Debbie.

Well thanks to approx 38c on Saturday I just lazed around and read and finished in one day Once Upon a Secret. Loved it! Review to come soon.

Ive been a member for Goodreads for ages but only just found this group! I love BC - only been a member for just over a year but have done a few RABCK's and taken part in some bookrays and plan to get more and more involved in the community. Im Miss_Sunshine on BC x

Also working on the 1001 Books to Read Before You Die list.

Feel free to come and find me over there often found in wishlist game forum threads

I recieved an "Authors copy" recently of my first novel. It's all about travel...so I found it only fitting to release it out into the world to do its own travels. Think i will release it in Vietnam.

I'm J4shaw on BookCrossing and I am still a very active member with currently hosting 4 Bookrings, an Australian Literature Sweepstake open to all (http://www.bookcrossing.com/forum/10/...) and a very active participant of the Wishlist Tag Games in the RABCK forums!
Always open to trades especially for books from my Wishlist.
I am currently 14 books into my 2013 challenge of 45.
Please stay active in BC guys, it needs you!

I've never participated in the forums at BC - I find the format much too confusing.

if you care to peek in to the OBCZ forum over on the BC site there are sometimes people offering to send OBCZ's books for the OBCZ shelves...
If I hadn't just sent off most of my available books to an OBCZ little ffree library I would offer to send some books your way myself:)

nope, I'm nimrodiel here and there.

Awww.... Well, maybe someone on this list will find and journal them anyways. If anyone here is from Boston, I like hiding books in weird places in South Station, just to see if they are still there when I come through next time. It's like an Easter Egg hunt! :)

There was a meetup a year ago apparently, you can see this link to BC page:
