I have started reading Fifty Shades Darker
and have started listening to Cocaine Blues
by Kerry Greenwood
Currently, I am reading
and
. I know that's a strange combo. But, I like to read two completely different books at the same time.
I'm almost done
Holidays on Ice. It's not your typical warm hearted seasonal fare but I'm enjoying it.
Just started 2 new books on Kindle.
Secrets to Die For by L.J. Sellers &
Freshwater Road by Denise Nicholas.
I've finished
by Christopher Moore earlier today. The plot was quite thin but there were tons of funny scenes that made me giggle and snicker (it wasn't funny enough to make me laugh out loud). However I got bored with this book pretty quickly. The humour was just so repetitive that it started to get on my nerves after a while and the jokes just stopped being funny. I didn't like the second half of the book as it just got too far-fetched and stupid. I really struggled to finish it. My full review is here: http://www.goodreads.com/review/show/...
Now I'm a couple of chapters into
by Diane Chamberlain.
STILL reading, Shoot the Moon by Billie Lets.Moon Over Manifest
by Clare Vanderpool,and several others.
Right now I'm reading Death's Acre: Inside the Legendary Forensic Lab the Body Farm Where the Dead Do Tell Tales. Love Bass's easy writing and ability to share graphic details without making it disrespectful. After skimming the pages, I'll definitely be adding Legally Dead to my TBR list!
I've started Shadow Woman
by Linda Howard and I'm listening to the audiobook Unholy Ghosts
by Stacia Kane.
Julie wrote: "I'm reading
" I enjoy this series. They can be formulaic so I don't read them too closely together. But they are a fun, quick read, IMO.
Finished Lost Girls by Caitlin Rother and now starting Little Bee by Chris Cleave. Taking a break to watch Dr. Who.
Just started Gregor the Overlander
Suzanne Collins. This is one that will be a "Hot Read" in my library in January. It is my rule to always pre-read the books for Hot Reads. I have to stretch myself to read genres I don't normaly go for. This one is fantasy.
I'm in the middle of researching, so I'm reading two very awesome books. First is Lost Plantations
and Death's Acre
Also started Because You Loved Me by M. William Phelps because I needed something to read on my ereader while running my errands.
