I am going to try

I found a book but won't start until the new year as I need it for a challenge. Won't take me long once I start it. It's an auto get author for me and works for Words w/Friends too and we have 2 weeks for that one.....

There really isn't a time limit for it. The team just won't get credit for the items until everyone posts. There is no penalty for being late. As there are holidays in December and we are still pretty early in the challenge it is ok if your real life schedule doesn't allow for much reading this week or next. It won't be until weeks 9-12 that it may become important to read fast.

I will still pick another book next Friday when the word is picked. I can read the 2 at the same time.
Is it ok to read the two books at the same time or they need to be read at different times?

Sure, as long as it is started after the item is called it will work.

Oh I didnt realize we could do that. Sure i'll do that.
Thanks so much. I ll post it tomorrow morning would that be ok?

That should be fine and I'll have my review for Lead Me On up tomorrow so I'll request our sunshine team point tomorrow as well.

I adjusted my earlier post. Post#147.

I was wondering if anyone else would catch on to that post.

I am amazed at how much I didn't like the fever series to be so completely in love with this series. The characters are just so much more moving and passionate.
Found:
Boots: pg 79, ...Grimm had felt his heart plummet to the soles of his boots.
Snow: pg 97, ...he'd built her a snow cave thier first winter together.
Toe: pg 60 When he looked at ber bare toes she curled them under her gown...
Paper: pg 34 He proffered a crumpled, soiled piece of parchment.

found another book for boots that has all four words in it and also found on with bike and all four words....
this week has been crazy with chritsmas and family....had hardly any time to read but hoping to get a break beginning next week...already 4 books behind in challenges....

Can I claim shoulder since he has one bare on the cover? Or do I need to find it in the book as well?

Review:
I enjoyed this book. The writing was quite well done. The story is about 3 sisters who end up at home with their parents when their mother is diagnosed with breast cancer. Having grown up with no sisters this was interesting for me to read about their relationship. I never liked Shakespeare in school. The book has Shakespeare writings through out the book. At first I was irritated by it and then it got to the point where I was wishing for more writings. Interesting to read about the sisters and how different they are and how they react to different situations.
Items Found
BIKE
p.46 A BICYCLE stood sentry on the sidewalk....
RAIN
p.1 .....vulnerable to RAIN,or fire, or incautious care.....
GLASSES
p.59 The rims of his GLASSES were nearly as black as his hair....
CURLY HAIR
p.37 .....a handsome boy with enthusiastically CURLY black HAIR......

Lead Me On was my favourite of the tumble creek series. It held my interest from the very start and was a fun, hot, funny contemporary romance.
The book is about Jane Morgan, an uptight office manager and excavation company owner William Chase.
Jane came from a troubled childhood background and spent her life as a teenager getting into all sorts of trouble until a certain incident happened when she was 16 after which she decided to straighten herself out. Jane decided that she did not want any reminders of her past so she distanced herself from her family, changed her name which used to be dynasty and decides to only date proper, educated, successful man, someone who was the complete opposite of bad boy Chase.
Jane is left confused when she finds herself attracted to tattooed covered Chase, the last type of man she would ever date but Jane decides to have a night of pleasure with Chase as a birthday treat to herself and lets Chase know that she wants no emotional attachment with him however Chase finds himself falling for Jane and decides to show her that all the stereotypes she has of him are not all true.
Jane came across as annoying sometimes with her constantly thinking Chase wasn't good enough for her, but as the book progresses we come to realise the reasons behind her actions and why she prefers not to be reminded about her past.
Jane and Chase seemed to be perfect for each other and I liked how Chase made Jane see that the world isn't always so black and white and the ending was very sweet.
Items:
Sunshine: pg 257 - He tucked a strand of hair behind her ear, and the touch swept over her like sunshine.
Glasses: pg 12 - Jane pushed her glasses up nervously.
Elbow: pg 32 - She pushed one of her brown curls behind her ear and set her elbows on the bar.
Paper: pg 121 - But when he snapped open the paper to read it, the print held steady.

Tempted by blood is the third book in Laurie London's Sweetblood series and is about the Vampire Guardian Jackson Foss and human blogger Arianna Wells. When Arianna writes a post about the existence of vampire's on her blog with photographic evidence of Jackson in his vampire form, Jackson is ordered to take control of the situation by wiping her memory of the night and keeping her safe from the Darkbood vampire's who want her sweetblood cousin.
Laurie London had created a unique and different world of vampire's and though her terms for vampire and humans with rare sweet smelling blood (darkblood, sweetblood, guradians) are not the most original, she still manages to keep your interest in the story with her easy style of writing. The plot was fast paced and the characters were great but there was never enough focus on Jackson and Arianna as a couple to make them being in love sound believable nor did I feel connected to them. I liked how we saw Jackson change through the book from being a shallow, unlikable character to being such a lovable character toward the end. Overall it was a good read.
Items:
Boots: pg 80 - she saw a pair of cowboy boots on the pavement.
Fog: pg 23 - There hadn't been a trace of fog over at Blake's house.
Tail: pg 255 - Their hairless tails would brush up against her legs, her wrists, her neck.
Shelf: pg 71 - He was a master, able to flick the tiniest of objects off a shelf twenty feet away with just a snap of his wrist.

I got Wait For Me as a freebie from amazon (still a freebie on amazon right now) on the 30th and found the premise so interesting that I read it straight away.
The story revolves around Katie who has amnesia after being involved in a car accident. She woke up eighteen months ago to find that she has a son and a husband named Jake Alexander. Katie's life changes once again when her husband dies in a plane crash and Katie can't seem to find any legal evidence of someone named Kate Alexander and finds a picture of a young girl who can't be anyone other than her daughter. Katie moves to San Francisco where she learns that her real name is Annie and her actual husband is Ryan not Jake.
Five Years ago, Ryan believed that his wife died in a plane crash and is coping with the loss of her and has dedicated himself towards his daughter and his job untill one day he meets Katie, a woman who looks a lot like his wife.
The story drew me in straight away and managed to hold my interest the entire time as I found myself desperately wanting to find out the reasons behind Annie/Katie's amnesia and disappearance. I liked how Ryan and Katie don't start a relationship with each other straight after seeing one another again as it felt more realistic with Ryan still unable to wrap his mind around his wife being alive and all the changes that have occurred to her and Katie still being confused about her life. Instead I enjoyed how the author allowed the characters to get to know each other again and resume their relationship at a slower pace.
Items:
Bike: pg 38 - The girl's bike crashed to the ground.
Rain: pg 109 - Turning away from the rain, she tried to focus on what was about to happen,..
Socks: pg 7 - fumbling through socks and underwear and old T-shirts.
Curly hair: pg 93 - Julia flipped her curly hair over her shoulder,..

I enjoyed the first half of the book. The dialogue and interaction between the h/h was great but was disappointed with the second half of the book. Phoebe the main character went from being a smart, sensible girl in the first half to being an immature, silly, naive girl in the second half and there were certain parts of the plot that didn't make sense and felt unnecessary.
Items:
Bone: pg 210 - "Willed it to sink into Waterburn's very bones"
Lightning: pg 242 - "His senses took her like a lightning strike."
Boots: pg 264 - "A ruddy, stocky, country squire, gray-faced and resolute, mud on his boots"
Musical Instrument: pg 30 - "They will leave prepared to raise families, run large households, play then pianoforte, embroider......."
