Review: A romantic-suspense/military-spec-ops-romance. I don't normally read this genre - the military aspect of it anyway, but I like it. Will read more. This one is about Ali and Nate. Ali is Nate's best friend's sister. Bad stuff happens causing Ali to go to Nate for help. More bad stuff happens, they get through the bad stuff together, they fall in love, HEA. I'm a sucker for a sweet HEA.

Review: This was a really cute read! I've really been enjoying Sophie Kinsella books lately, the plots are never what you think they're going to be. In this novel, there was a tie in to Twenties Girl that I finished last month :)

Blood Winter by Diana Pharaoh Frances
Review - Firstly I am so sad because I have to say goodbye to Max who has been an extraordinary character. She has always been so kick ass and proud but in Blood Winter we are shown her more vulnerable side as she struggles with her feelings for Alexander and her personal contempt of blaming herself for any of her "teams" deaths even though things weren't really her fault. While most "loose ends" get tied up I still feel a longing for another chapter at least just to see what happens in the future between Max and Alexander and a few of the others. I dont suggest reading these out of order because you will miss out on alot not to mention it's a series that is totally worth reading from start to finish!

Review: I have never read a Weather Warden book and I didn't know this was the first spin-off book. I really enjoyed it even though I felt like I was behind trying to figure out the rules of the world. I'll have to start the main series before I read the next one. The main character was very cold and distant and it took me a long time to get used to her, but I enjoyed the story very much!

Oh my gosh! Oh my gosh! Oh my gosh!
What an absolutely amazing story. These kind of stories tear at your heart, but make you feel blessed and hopeful all at same time.
Jack is a 5 year old boy who was born in captivity. His mother was kidnapped at the age of 19 and was placed in shed for 7 years. Jack has no clue what the outside world is like and believes that it is all pretend.
This is the kind of book that makes you think and wonder what you would do in this situation. But you are never really sure unless something this tragic happens to you.
The writing was phenomenal. Especially considering it was written from the point of view of a 5 year old. Everything was so simple yet so complicated/confusing at the same time which makes sense since the knowledge of a 5 year old is not extremely high.
This book has basically left me breathless and out of words on how to describe how amazing it is.

Hi all sorry been MIA just had a busy weekend and just now getting to spend any amount of time on computer. ;)
Wild Thing by Dandi Daley Mackall
Review - This was a total change in pace for me and I really must say I enjoyed it being the breath of fresh air I needed!
Winnie's family has been going thru a tough time losing their mom/wife but Winnie who used to spend time gentling horses with her mom has began trying her hand at it and found the horse of her dreams. Now we go on a journey with her as she not only goes thru the process of trying to gentle this wild horse but many other obstacles she must go thru on her own including learning to trust in God again after losing her mother.
The only thing I found that was kind of weird to me was it seemed Winnie's 11 year old sister was the cook of the family and held down a baby-sitting job. I mean some of the dishes Lizzy was whipping up had my mouth watering and I just couldn't believe somebody so young with no supervision was making them.
Other than that it was a wonderful story.

Review: Well, this series was my intro into BDSM erotica books and I liked the sex scenes. The story however left my annoyed. These books are too long and the characters get really annoying. I'm listening to these on audiobook and after 17 discs, I'm over the hype. The narrator is HORRIBLE at any other voice but Anna's. I'm glad I finished this trilogy but I have no desire to read it again. I feel like I've finished a marathon and I'm exhausted.
