Corey Bellatrix, because I CRIED TEARS OF JOY"

I didn't cry, I just cheered for Molly Weasley.

"NOT MY DAUGHTER, YOU B----!"

You-Know-Who had no love in him, but do you suppose he had any lust for LeStrange? I have no doubt she did for him!

message 202: by Robin (new) - rated it 5 stars

Robin Akin Fred Wesley, Sirius Black and Hedwig.

Anirudh Singh Dobby and Severus

Camille Sirius. I used to think Harry would live with Sirius after Voldemort was gone... And I think what made it more painful was the fact that I was in denial like Harry. I convinced myself that it was just a normal curtain, and that it wasn't an unforgivable curse.
*laughs at old self* *cue the sobbing*

message 205: by Ariana (new) - rated it 5 stars

Ariana I bawled my eyes out when Sirius died. Harry could have had a happy life with him, but J.K just had to kill him.

AND WAS IT NECESSARY TO KILL HEDWIG OR WAS J.K JUST BEING EVIL!?!?!!?!?

Hedwig's death was tragic, but the author had to get rid of her to suit the plot. What on earth would Harry have done on the run with a pet? He could have asked her to go away for a while, of course, but really, he, Ron and Hermione had to leave in a huge hurry. So, sorry, but a plot device.

message 210: by Sue (last edited Jul 19, 2014 04:04AM) (new) - rated it 4 stars

Sue Bursztynski I was sad when Snape died, but I'd seen it coming from early in the series. He was doomed, though I had hoped he might die saving Harry, however cliched that would be. Mad-Eye's death was a plot device - he might have been too useful and our heroes had to be on their own. Fred's death seemed pointless, except to add to the tragedy and make Molly angry enough to take on Bellatrix. Why Dobby, though?

Tatyana Dobby. no competion. dobby was a friend to potter. potter freed Dobby. Dobby Loves Harry Potter.

Annaliese Oh boy this is a hard one….but I have to say Snape

Read me two times I have to admit, I cried even for HP books at my age XD Sirius (it was so unexpected) and Severus ('cause he had no time to live his true life)...

message 217: by Tonya (new) - added it

Tonya Powell Well they all made me cry. Even Lavender's death made me tear up. But I think it's a tie between Snape and Fred.

Casey Fred

message 223: by Cathy (last edited Jul 20, 2014 12:09PM) (new) - rated it 5 stars

Cathy Dumbledore's was the most effective for me because I was not expecting it. I liked him the best because he t r I ed to protect Harry throughout his life and I thought this would be a great loss!!

message 224: by Mariah (new) - rated it 5 stars

Mariah Sirius Black! I mean we aren't just referring to the final book. Sirius was as close to a father figure that Harry was ever going to have. Dumbledore was way too shady with Harry to ever be a father figure. Sirius was that man. When he was killed, I was pretty upset at J.K Rowling. I mean Harry never got to leave the hidious life that he had at the Dursley's to go live with Sirius. His death was the worst for me.

message 225: by Sue (new) - rated it 5 stars

Sue Mitchison For me it was Dobby. I expected it would be one of the other deaths, but Dobby's is so moving!

Charissa Roberson Dumbledore definitely, but Fred was super sad as well...and when I remembered that Lupin and Tonks had just had their kid...too many to pick from, really :(

message 227: by Bren (new) - rated it 5 stars

Bren Hernández Sirius! Harry had FINALLY found someone from his family, someone who loved him SO MUCH and was like a father to him. They became really close (specially in the book 5) and it was so unfair for him to die after the promises he had made to Harry (moving in with Sirius and having a better life). Besides, it's the only death they actually use more than 1 chapter to describe Harry's devastating feelings about that death and that KILLED ME. :(

message 228: by TL (new) - rated it 5 stars

TL Sirius. He was always really special to me, and I'm not entirely sure why. Maybe it was because I always found his friendship with James really endearing even though they were pretty mean to Snape. And Sirius was always finding similarities between Harry and James and I guess I'm just sympathetic toward him because you can tell that he really missed James and of course he spent all those years in Azkaban when he was innocent. But in the movies, Dobby's death made me cry the most, it still makes me tear up when I watch the movie now.

message 229: by [deleted user] (new)

Hedwig, Dumbledore and Seirus of course....
Also that little kid who kept taking pictures of him, he was like a fan of Harry's.. I' not sure I even remember his name... It's mentioned fast in the book, and not even in the movies I think... but I remember really breaking down :(

It was so sad, I think it made it even sadder to me that he was really a nobody... :(

message 230: by Lia (new) - rated it 4 stars

Lia B. Dobby and Fred

Sujimaraj Cried the most for Sirius

message 235: by liyana (new) - rated it 5 stars

liyana Fred's. Definitely Fred's!

message 236: by Emma (new) - rated it 5 stars

Emma Fred. And then I cried even more when it said Tonks and Lupin. But definitely Fred the most.

Mohammad Balouchi Dumbledore

FanficofBooks Hedwig

message 239: by Joyce (new) - rated it 4 stars

Joyce Fred because while it is devastating for the entire Weasley clan, George lost his twin which is like losing part of himself.

FanficofBooks Too, true

message 241: by Sewn (new) - rated it 5 stars

Sewn Sirius, not entirely because I liked his character a lot (Not saying I didn't like him, I did), but more because Harry finally had a figure to look up to, a sort of family and that was taken away from him just like his parents were, and that was awful.

message 242: by Mariah (new) - rated it 5 stars

Mariah Hali wrote: "Sirius, not entirely because I liked his character a lot (Not saying I didn't like him, I did), but more because Harry finally had a figure to look up to, a sort of family and that was taken away f..."

That's exactly what I thought. I was like "J.K How could you!?!?" and then to take Dumbledore and Dobby after that. I was mad.

FanficofBooks Hedwig and Sirius, definitely, it was sad because they had a future planned together and that was unfinished business, that Bellatrix caused. I praise Molly Weasley!

message 244: by Sam (new) - rated it 5 stars

Sam Kristy wrote: "Hedwig. Her death was the death of the little boy Harry once was. After that he had to take on all the responsibilities that come with growing up and for Harry that included Voldemort."

Omg, for real! I was beside myself when Hedwig died.
