Some magazines do have ISBN codes because the publishers feel like handing them out, but that doesn't make them books. They are still periodicals. To quote the sidebar when adding a book (under "Types of books"): "Periodicals such as newspapers, magazines, and comics are not books."

As a rule of thumb, a publisher issuing ISBNs would make me think that the issues are book-like, but I am concerned that these do not seem to be valid ISBNs -- all of the ones I saw had 9 digits instead of 10.

These are just anthology manga magazines. Manga is serialized in them every month. They are basically like any of the monthly (or however often) magazines released in the States such as "Fantasy & Science Fiction" as they have several manga stories serialized, then various editorial articles. Definitely not book-like outside of being printed on paper.

Lena (lenaee) | 3 comments If you look at the "Spådom" books you can see there's atleast 2 editions that are useless. The first one is added 10 times but no information and the 2nd one has complete information. And as far as I know there's only hardcover and e-book published in Sweden..

Should atleast the two last ones be deleted?

New York Cowboy. I didn't put it on and I don't want it on yet as I haven't finished writing it. Someone has obviously read the free chapter I put at the end of the re-release of Too Much Christmas Spirit and decided to put it on. There are other books that I will finish before New York Cowboy so if you could take it off I would be grateful.

If it has been publicly announced, yes. Most authors are glad when a user is excited enough about a forthcoming work that they add it to GR and shelf it as something they want to read.
