Corey | 1411 comments 4:00PM Went out for my 3rd test drive today and I think I'm starting to get the hang of it. I think my anxiety is decreasing every time I'm operating the vehicle.

In a while my Mom and I are gonna head to the grocery store to get dinner, biscuit pizzas tonight!

4:14PM just had dinner. Made Chicken and pasta for the family and I had soup. I have sworn off pasta and bread to see if this helps with my weight loss journey. I still need to lose about 20 - 30 pounds. So we will see. About to go out for a walk with my sweet hub and gonna stop in to see the grand babe he is sick today.

Then I hope to read more of The Man from Primrose Lane. It's the book chosen for my in-person book club. We're meeting on Wednesday

10:41PM Just finished The 9th Girl, OMG I loved it! And I feel like this really is the last one in the series but it ended on a good note I think and I am satisfied with it. SO that is always good.

Y'all got busy in here on this thread and I was never notified by GR of that till this evening. Go figure.

Janelle I have no idea what a trained reader is, did you google it?

Alissa I hope your family gets well soon. Don't get to busy with taking care of them that you forget to take care of yourself.

Corey I am glad that your kitty is doing ok. We just lost our kitty Bandit last year, he was about 12 years old. They really become a part of your family.

Sorry about your cat Janie, I know what that's like. You're right, they do become a part of the family.

Janelle | 347 comments Janie I Googled it and found nothing.

My daughter went shopping for my mother on my bookshelf for Christmas and gave her the Tami Hoag book that I had Prior Bad Acts. My mom is loving it. You did a video about her series that you love. Can you link it here so I can share it with her?

Holly, sending good thoughts and antibodies your way. Stay well.

Bad news this morning. The compressor went out on our aerobic septic system. Argh $$$

Janie, Looking forward to our book run tomorrow!!

1:18PM Been reading. I started Opposition and I am liking it although I am a bit confused at Dee's behavior towards Katy and I don't like it. Have to make a run to Sam's Club today. That will be fun! LOL

Janelle I really want to know exactly what a trained reader is. It makes no sense that you could find nothing about it. Maybe it is just your Professor's way of sounding important? Nice you got a new copy of Revival, I hope you like that book as much as I did.

ok so here is the Series Sunday I did on the Kovak & Liska series by Tami Hoag.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AMmO1...

I am thinking of doing an entire series review or at least do a review still on The 9th Girl. Here is my review on Prior Bad Acts:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8sKch...

Susan I am excited to get together again! It has been far too long! I have a couple , or maybe several lol, books I have my eye out for. Hopefully I can find them.

message 12790: by Janelle (new)

Janelle | 347 comments Thanks Janie! I know she is going to enjoy it because you two have the same taste in mysteries.

Maybe because he teaches English that he used the term "trained reader"? He is probably trying to hype himself up since 99% of the class is under 20 years old. I wish I would have called him on it when he said it. Lol.

Corey | 1411 comments 5:15PM Hey everyone, had a good day today, went out with my dad today and we went to a women's College Hockey game, unfortunately they lost and the game went into overtime, but oh well, can't win em all. Just got home and I'm just relaxing, eating popcorn and watching Seinfeld, LOL! In a while I'm gonna head upstairs to start reading Odd Hours.

Hope everyone has a good night.

9:30AM WIll be eating breakfast soon. Hub just asked me if I felt like Breakfast. I told him sure! He is good to me. Fighting a dang cold, have had it for a few days. Just a stuff nose is all, everything else is fine. Want to read Opposition and finish that today and then will read Pathfinder, my last book for the month. I had a good reading month for February.

✨Susan✨ (suswelch) | 904 comments Had a great book search day yesterday with Janie, Randy and Kay at an amazing used book store. A fantastic place that used to be an opera house, so you can imagine how huge it is. Toooo many books and still finding new sections and hidden secret rooms. Speeking of which, Janie, I went back through my list yesterday and some of the ones I was looking for would have been in the contemporary section that we did not get to. It was a silly question yesterday but I could not put all my books and brain cells together to add to that department. Yikes too much caffeine! :-D

Hope all are staying warm and loving the book you are reading. We are supposed to be hit with a snowstorm today and tomorrow. Get well Janie! Take care all.

8:27 PM It has been awhile since I came in here and posted. I have been doing a lot of reading today and will finish up my book We Have Always Lived in the Castle. Has anyone else read this and felt this pissed off? I am seething at this childishness I am reading. I don't know how people can be so cruel.
