Rachel wrote: "Sounds good Kathryn-whenever you're ready to read crank, let me know and i'll join you :)"YAY! :)
Kathryn are you using your laptop cam? My laptop cam used to do that same thing that was why I quit using it and I use my phone cam now. It works out great!
Janie wrote: "Kathryn are you using your laptop cam? My laptop cam used to do that same thing that was why I quit using it and I use my phone cam now. It works out great!"I might just have to talk to you about that. Mainly the transferring from phone to computer to edit, then uploading.
Well I have a folder called bookvlog. I bypass the whole iTunes thing and go directly to 'my computer' and then click on 'Janie's devise'. Then I click on the proper folder, copy my video and paste into my 'bookvlog' folder. Then like I said before I edit using WMM. Any time you need any help just give me holler Kathryn. I will do my best to help you!

We were at the library the other day and I happened to spot a copy of Battle Royale and instantly thought of you, Victor, since you recommended it to me long ago and I know how much you love it! And I was soo tempted to check it out but I have waayy too many unread books at home, so didn't do it.. But now at least I know that our library carries it!!
Today I bought a few books:The Storyteller
The Knife of Never Letting Go
The Rosie Project
Girl, Missing
Sister, Missing
Missing Me
Ok so I am just gonna do this now even though one book is still not here. I did my vlog on this as well which is uploading now yay! So anyway it was a pretty big haul. I don't spend a lot of money on any books I buy, I always buy bargain prices. LOL I am cheap like that. it also helps when you have a book buying addiction. Here we go.
I have been really enjoying Jonathan Maberry, both his YA series and his Adult series. I just read Patient Zero from the Joe Ledger series at the beginning of the month and ordered the next 4 from 3rd party Amazon.
The Dragon Factory
The King of Plagues
Assassin's Code
Extinction Machine
Freak
Incarnate
Whispers at Moonrise
Chosen at Nightfall
Think Twice
Home Front
Into the Darkest Corner
Lost
Enclave
Outpost
Under the Never Sky
Through the Ever Night
And that is my 3rd book haul for January. I love finding bargain books!

Victor wrote: "That's great Dustin!"I thought you'd like that, Victor! I was surprised by the length, too. I always thought it was your typical 300, 400 page novel, but the edition I saw was 600+, I think.

Cheryl wrote: "Agree with Dustin over The Knife of Never Letting Go. I'd recommend that trilogy to anyone."Me too, Cheryl.
@Cheryl @Dustin I'm so excited to get started on it. I have read two of Patrick Ness' books so far and loved them so I have very high expectations for this series :)

Thanks Rachel. I love finding the bargain books. I save so much money and still get great hauls!
The knife of never letting go sounds really great. I've just been on Amazon and I can pick up a copy for £2.80 and that includes delivery! So its gone on my list for next week:) I get lots of book ideas from reading the post:D
Had a good book haul today although I have broken my resolution of not buying books before I have read the ones on my shelf. Here is what's got:
Divergent
Insurgent
12th of Never
The Einstein Pursuit
Nice haul, Sam! We are planning on reading Divergent on the 20th, if you're interested! There is already a thread for it! :)
Funny you should say that ladies it was the reason I went shopping this weekend. Cant wait to join in. I was lucky enouh to get a sample of the first couple of chapters and was hooked
just bought a bunch of stuff off amazon... egads. Blackout, Autumn: The City, Peril at End House so i can get my Poirot on, and Rage Within and a kindle book by Joe Hill Wolverton Station. i am pretty satisfied with myself... LOL

Today at a used bookstore I bought: A Thousand Splendid Suns, Dante Club, Wicked (already read this, but I wanted my own copy.) 4 other books, but I don't Remember the titles.
I went to Half-Price Books and bought two books by Jeffery Deaver:Manhattan is My Beat
Bloody River Blues
Kathryn you are doing great getting his books. I still need 4 to the Lincoln Rhyme series. So I will be looking for them. I looked for #4 when we all got together at the UBS, The Stone Monkey, but go figure that was the one they did not have. LOL
Victor Jeffery Deaver is pretty Awesome! Kathryn and I will finish his Kathryn Dance series next month with XO. Well he is actually still writing for that series. I think Chris said there is another one due in 2015. You should totally check him out if you like mystery suspense books.

That's good Kathryn! Hub and I have been deciding on what to buy next, lol well ok maybe I have been deciding, but he has discovered he likes this new series he is reading starting with Tempest. We found the next one in that, Vortex, at Book Outlet. I was telling him also about The Ruby Red series which sounds amazing as well. So we will see. For some odd reason he thinks I am using his tastes in books just to fiil the shelves in my library. I quickly reminded him it was 'our' library. heh
I supposed to be on a book buying ban until I went into a bookstore today "just to browse" and I ended up buying Trainspotting. It was only €1.99 new so I couldn't resist!
Just one book today and that is Xinran - Sky Burial. Brought this second hand in order to help complete the A-Z challenge of authors names I set myself last year.
I've got a few this week but my best buy is a hard back copy of marina by Carlos Ruiz zafron from Water stones for half price, so it was £6.
Went to Walmart today and saw
was out. I wanted it bad, but didn't have my gift card with me, so I'm going back for it tomorrow, or Saturday...
So I went to B&N today because I had $13 on gift cards left. And you know where I headed? Straight to the 75% off table and here is what I got.
The Ice Princess
The Burning Wire
The Brightest Star in the Sky
Heart of the Matter
And since I am a member I got an additional 10% off! So these books were pretty much under $2. because they took the 85% off of the already bargain price. I was very happy!

Thanks, I thought so too. I figure that the bargain price was already the price with the 75% off. So it was a wonderful surprise. YAY!
Today I bought Barracuda and The Goldfinch. I already had a copy of The Goldfinch on my Kindle but I wanted a physical copy.
The Dark Tower, The Book Thief, Wicked: The Life and Times of the Wicked Witch of the West, Seizure, Die For Me (Romantic Suspense, #7) & Noughts & Crosses, Divergent & InsurgentAll but the last two were either Charity shops, or amazon. Insurgent and Divergent I bought brand new.
