At least initially, this is a revisit -- I read books 1-5 back in ... 2004?, then stopped because that's all that had been published, and never quite got around to continuing; and it's been long enough now that I figured I should jump back in at the beginning.

Moving on to Book 4 of the Belgariad
Just discovered my 2nd ed UK ed has the hardcover on the book upside-down! Embossed gold title/author and Bantam stamp are upside-down on spine. Dust cover corrects this of course. I wonder if they were all printed that way.
I have finished Schuyler Hernstrom'r second book "Thune's Vision" recently. His works are exceptional. I would wholeheartedly these two books (first one was "The Eye of Sounnu", DMR) to all members of this group.
I finished the sixth (publication order) book in the Discworld series

I was about to buy copies of Thune's Vision and give it to GR friends after first reading it years ago. Schuyler is a top favorite now.
Back on the DMR wagon: reading Vran the Chaos Warped.
My Conan novella, Black Starlight, is available on Kindle today.It was serialized in Marvel’s ‘Conan the Barbarian’ comic in 2019 and has never appeared anywhere except broken up into monthly issues of that magazine.
The story stands alone, but those who've read Conan and the Emerald Lotus will note it follows the events of that novel.
As is usual with my Conan pastiche efforts, I worked to conjure up as much ‘Weird Tales’ style pulp magazine thrills and chills as I could, so you have your grisly supernatural horror mingling with the headlong Cimmerian combat.
I'd be pleased to hear from anyone who takes the time to read it.

Conan: Black Starlight. I’m at 57% now, and it’s just so…authentic. Not necessarily Howard’s voice, but definitely something that one might read within the pages of Weird Tales or some other pulp magazine of the era. Yeah, it’s that good…
I just finished Hither Came Conan which I enjoyed very much especially as it was the product of an online discussion that I was following along with as it played out.
