The Lee one looks good.I still haven't read him yet despite having a few of his books on my TBR pile.I think the Infernal series is considered to be amongst his best so it's probably a good place to start.I have bumped Edge of Dark Water andFevre Dream to the top of my huge falling over TBR pile.
Edge of dark water is on my list as well, I have almost suggested it a few times for the group read. Let me know when you want to read it and I will join in, same thing with Edward Lee books.
Sure does. I already have it, just haven't gotten around to it yet so I will be ready when you are.
I found at least one other person to join us in edge of dark water over at horror aficionados. Would you mind discussing in a thread over there so we can possibly get more people to join us? If that's ok I will give you a link to a thread that the moderator over there made for the book.
Sounds good. Do you want to discuss every 25% like we do group reads just without a schedule or just read the entire thing and then discuss? I will link the thread at horror aficionados and ask there also for anyone else that wants to join. http://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/1...
Well Addy, it don't look like urban Gothic is going to win, I voted on it but changed it when I was the only one. No point wasting my vote on something that isn't even close to winning, I was suprised that you didn't vote for it after suggesting it. Let me know when you are ready to start and I will make a buddy read thread.
I decided to vote for neverland instead, but changed it when I saw I was the only one who voted on it. I kinda figured no one wud vote for urban gothic. I already started it, but im on like pg 12. Go ahead and add a thread. Its pretty good so far.
I'm only a couple pages into Trinity, I will put it aside and read urban Gothic with you. Do you want to just read the whole thing then discus or do like we do with group reads and discuss every 25% or 50%? If you want to do cheachpoint discussions how many days do you want to set for each section?
Goodreads says 301 pages so 50 pages a day sounds fine to me. That would be about 33% every other day for me and 100 pages every other day for you. Sound good?
Excellent, when I get a second I will post that schedule in the thread I started for anyone else wanting to join. I am about 15% in right now.
Here is a link to my "to read" shelf. http://www.goodreads.com/review/list/... there are about 430 books that I would gladly do a buddy read on after I finish with urban gothic. Top of the list is any wrath James white or Edward Lee that's in that list or a couple from the recent vote for December's group read that didn't win House of Blood A Hacked-Up Holiday Massacre Dead Sea Predatory Instinct
I think William suggested that one for the group read, if he wants to get in on it we will have 3 people possibly more.
I should have Tim curran's new one Long Black Coffin
Sometime in the next couple days but I can put it off long enough to read dead sea.

Hey Justin r u subscribed to dark fuse? I was thinking about subscribing and u talk about books that r on there
So after months of nothing from lendle I am all of a sudden getting more books than I can read from them! I got 2 just today, Darkened and The Neighbors I will be starting both of them soon.
Does neone want to read a laymon or gifune novel? Let me know. Looking at some good titles right now.
I have read beast house but when you finish it I will gladly read the second one in the series if anyone wants to. I have a couple gifunes to read as well including gardens of night, a view from the lake, and apartment 7.
I forgot which one came first. I have read cellar not beast house. If you do decide to do a group read I will jump in for the final discussion and then do a group read on beast house if anyone wants to afterwords.
If anyone is interested, I will n starting the cellar on sunday. Please let me know so I can start a thread.
I'll read The Cellar with you and then I plan on reading Beast House afterwards if anyone is interested.
I will add it to the groups currently reading books in the buddy read folder as soon as you start a thread for it. I will follow along and make some spoiler free comments since I have already read it, and then jump in for the full discussion with you at the end.
sounds good. i will read beast house with you as well when we done. is there another one in the series? i thought i saw 2 others. justin, r u gonna read beast house too?
Yea I am in on beast house for shur. I think there is 3 novels and a novella. I forget the third novel but the novela is called friday night at beast house.
Well sorry to ruin your buddy read. Maybe someone else will join if not I will move the thread to the book discussion thread and jump in when you are done. I am still up for the second book though when you get there.
So how about one of those gifune books that I mentioned. I also plan on reading that new Bradley conviser novel soon if anyone else got it.
