I started listening to
this morning and I'm enjoying it so far.
Lannister wrote: "I finished Red Seas Under Red Skies

Mello, I really liked Name of the Wind. And one of these days I'll get round to reading the second book which has been gathering virtual dust on my Kindle forever!
I just finished my 6th book this month,
The Darkest Kiss (Riley Jenson Guardian #6) by Keri Arthur. My next book is
Dark Frost (Mythos Academy #3) by Jennifer Estep
Lannister wrote: "Mello, I really liked Name of the Wind. And one of these days I'll get round to reading the second book which has been gathering virtual dust on my Kindle forever!"I'm enjoying it quite a bit, even with listening to it on audiobook.
I hate the fact I haven’t been able to sit at my f’ing computer for days….Finished:
Bumble (Legend of the Ir'Indicti #1), Shadowed (Legend of the Ir'Indicti #2), Target (Legend of the Ir'Indicti #3), Vendetta (Legend of the Ir'Indicti #4), and Destroyer (Legend of the Ir'Indicti #5) by Connie Suttle
The first few books made me want to shoot things in some places. Is a family like that real? I am so glad the the amount of times “dude” was used went down as the series progressed. I really started loving the series when crap went downhill … I loved/hated some parts. That is how it works with her books for me! I love to hate the people/events in them. :X Will work on the last two series next month, went over my book limit I set for myself again….
Oh, I read this book too:
Heat by R. Lee Smith
Talk about f’d up stuff…. I found reading her books is like a train wreck sometimes.
Finished
It was...not what I expected. Especially the ending of it. But it was worth reading at least.
I just finished my 7th book this month,
Dark Frost (Mythos Academy #3) by Jennifer Estep. My next book is
Dragon Wytch (Otherworld / Sisters of the Moon, #4) by Yasmine GalenornWhat I can't believe that Mythos Academy and Elemental Assassin are written by the same author. For it's like she quits taking meds just so she can be a bad writer just for the Mythos Academy series. I have never cheered on the bads guys so much to kill the main character because her whining gives me nightmare.
I'm temporarily putting Republic of Thieves aside to start on a group read for another group. I'm reading World After
. It's not officially out till tomorrow but the Book Depository gods smiled on me and my copy arrived yesterday. :)Bring on the angels!

and I loved it. This series never disappoints me.Finishing up
I'm really liking World After, but there were a lot of horrible scenes and quite gruesome imagery that made me put it down for a little while. Don't read when you're in the mood for something light-hearted!! I'm about two-thirds of the way through and there hasn't been as much Raffe as I would have liked but I'm hoping that's going to change in the final third.
I'd heard that about World After, Lannister. It makes sense, though considering ho book 1 ended. Not surprising that there are some horrible scenes, either. Still, I'm so excited.
I just finished
. At first it struck me as a little cheesy, but then it got interesting and I started to really enjoy it. However, at one point I thought the book was almost over, only to look and see I was only halfway through! Goodreads says the book is only 381 pages long; unfortunately it felt like it was a lot longer than that. It started out as being a fun and light-hearted read, but devolved into a really mushy romance between the main characters. Not my idea of a good time.
I just finished my 8th book this month,
Dragon Wytch (Otherworld / Sisters of the Moon, #4) by Yasmine Galenorn. My next book is
Vengeance in Death (In Death #6) by J.D. Robb
just read
. It was so good!!Not a 5 star read, but definitely 4. I really enjoyed it. The romance was refreshing compared to the last book I just read. The main character was really snarky and the dialogue was funny. The main bad guy had depth-- you were torn between feeling badly for the things he suffered and then remembering that he's an evil SOB.
I'd definitely recommend it. Also..it was FREE on Amazon so really it's a no brainer.

Soon, Zeenat, soon! :)
After finishing World After
(and the final third of the book was awesome!) I'm back to reading The Republic of Thieves
and it's fab. I'm going to be utterly devastated when there's no more Locke to read for at least a year and probably longer. :(
Ok after three weeks of no time for reading :( I'm back. Finished
and starting
. Have been looking for a good series for audiobook. Has any one listened to the black jewels on audio? Is it a good listen?
I just finished Macrieve from the immortals after dark series. It was good with some great moments, but I really liked it for the greater arc. Happy Accession!
Finished:Godhunter (The Godhunter #1) by Amy Sumida
Thanks for the freebie Claire … I rather liked the book. Urm, there are 7 it seems and they were all published this year. Go fig, I felt like trying the 2nd book out.
I've finished
and
and really liked them both. Especially Try.Almost done with
and seriously enjoying it. Gonna start
and
next.
Finished Kinked which I liked better than most of the other books except pia and dragos books. Finished Crazy: Vampire Love which was really cute.
Looking thru my kindle for what to read next.
Just finished Bloodlines...I would give it almost a 4I liked it enough to want to read the second one.
Now reading Any Witch Way You Can by Amanda M Lee. So far it's pretty good. I like books that have a little bit of humor.
Finished Endless Knight and MacRieve wow those books were intense but I should not have read them back to back.
I just finished my 9th book this month,
Vengeance in Death (In Death #6) by J.D. Robb. My next book is
Crimson Frost (Mythos Academy #4) by Jennifer Estep
Finished
I really enjoy this series better than Kenyon's dark hunters wish the books would come out faster. Starting

was pretty good. Also finished
which was FANTASTIC!! <3 Thinking of reading

and
since my last post. Really good reads. Especially Keeping Promise Rock. Love the hell out of that book.Reading
now.
@ Amber:Me too, I have re-read that series more than her DH series!
Finished:
Of Gods and Wolves (The Godhunter, #2) and Oathbreaker (The Godhunter, #3) by Amy Sumida
@Claire:
I definatly liked the first book better than these two. While I liked how the romance and world seemed in the first book it lost my interest in the 2nd and 3rd books. Everything was too easy … I h8 duex machina type crap. Oh, and Blue, from the 1st book, yeah he doesn’t get killed. I will just say the “power” that she got of love is pretty wtf inducing. Got a problem use the love power! I didn’t like how she portrayed the Norse gods either … I never thought of them as emo(Thor is bi-polar and Odin is sooo totally a wuss)…. I read the 2nd book and didn’t like it as much, but I gave it the old college try and read the 3rd book to see if it changed much … no. I just got confused more and irritated about stuff. I don’t know if I will read the rest of the books, but for now it is a no.
Sh—is too easy for her and what at first seemed like good/scary bad guys turned into misunderstood people wanting to change or something. The kickassery went to the wayside and the world building went off somewhere else. :(
@Llaph Well that's upsetting. I really liked her because she stayed so independent, but wasn't too stupid to recognize that she needed help and support. Oh well.
@Claire:Yeah, I thought so too at first. She suffered from" get some and turn into a dork disease" sadly.
The later books might have gotten better, but for now I will put off getting more from that series. I rather liked the first book though, will see I guess!

These are sad times indeed
Finished Magic Rises which I've had since it was released and I put off as long as possible. I gave in, I loved it, I hated it. Curran, curran, curran I wanted to slap. Now it's over and I have to wait again. ;( Also read A Warrior's Heart which was a nice little sexy romance.
Btw amazon had Kitty and the Midnight Hour on sale for 1.99
I reread a bunch of books from the Immortals After Dark series after Macrieve. Damn it I want more! I don't wanna read the really earlier books - coz I want more from the Accension. Ugh. Why are all the books I wanna read coming out in 2014?
Amber wrote: "@arushi I feel the same way. I want to know what's going to happen."I know right! I keep going through my bookshelves checking if a book in a series I want to read is here... and all of them will come in 2014. SIGH.
@arushi I switched to amazon freebies to take up my time tell something else comes out. Might look at some high fantasy books next I haven't read very many so there is a lot more to chose from.
Finished Any Witch Way You Can. Very good book. I'm giving it a 5. I loved the interaction of the three cousins with their mothers an aunts. Laugh out loud funny. Good murder mystery, and a little playful flirting.
I haven't been able to read much because I'm catching up on class work. I'm looking forward to thanksgiving!
I just finished my 10th book this month,
Crimson Frost (Mythos Academy #4) by Jennifer Estep. My next book is
Broken Harbor (Dublin Murder Squad #4) by Tana French
