An unlikely duo, the golfing match from Hell, and a devil determined to win, even if he has to cheat. Lucifer’s up to his matchmaking mischief again in this fast-paced, humorous jaunt into the bowels of the pit. Think you can handle the heat?
“Fetch me a Scot,” Lucifer commands. Sounds simple, except the skirt-wearing jerk won’t cooperate. But Aella isn’t one to give up. Willing or not, she delivers her target to the Lord of Sin. In retaliation, the much-too-sexy Scot has Aella assigned as his bodyguard for the golfing match from Hell.
One shot ruined Niall’s life. A second shot could help him regain it. Niall sold his soul once to win a lady’s heart only to end up betrayed. Does he dare take a risk and give love a second chance? __________________________

Hello, my name is Eve Langlais and I am an International Bestselling author who loves to write hot romance, usually with werewolves, cyborgs or aliens .
I should warn you, I have a twisted imagination and a sarcastic sense of humor something I like to let loose in my writing. While well known for my shifter stories, I am also extremely partial to aliens, the kind who like to abduct humans and then drive them insane...with pleasure. Or do you like something a little darker, more serious? Then check out my cyborgs whose battle with humanity have captivated readers worldwide.
Book 3 of the Welcome to Hell series. Paranormal romance.
A humerus and sexy hot romance with erotic elements. Lucifer’s golf game sucks so he sends one of his demons to find the greatest golfer he knows. A lusty Scotsman that can’t resist Aella when she demands he help Lucifer.
Funny, irreverent and sexy. “She bounced. He pounced.” And a laugh out loud good game between Lucifer, God, Zeus and the Lord of Linbo.
I alternated between the ebook and audio book narrated by Mindy Kennedy. I really like how Mindy portrayed the humor, the accent and sarcasm throughout the book. She did a marvelous job alternating between male and female voices so you knew exactly who and what was happening.
This book was silly, kinda stupid, fun and hot and it just works. I don’t know why. It’s short and light, and yet we get a full story. Probably what I admire the most.
It’s a five star read, but not a “normal “ five star read. I don’t make any sense, right ? So, here’s the thing. It’s a five star read in that “type of book” category. The category that’s under “light, silly, fun and sexy-oh and paranormal”. And that’s why it deserves the good rating.
The Scot, Niall, was brilliant and when he went “lass” I instantaneously thought of Jamie Fraser from Outlander. (What can I say, he’s the most perfect Scot ever existed!)
Aelle was awesome. Strong, fierce and her sassy comments had me laughing my ass off!
The plot was silly, but quite honestly I enjoyed it. And let’s be honest. I have yet to find a book in this series that isn’t silly. It’s stupidly charming!
Read: 3/12/2018 Genre/tropes: Paranormal/romance/demons 1st rating : 5 stars Cover: 1 star : It’s just so awkward 😂 Will I recommend: Yes, it’s a good laugh.
I love this series and especially this book. Since the beginning of this series Lucifer has been manipulating his minions as well as playing matchmaker all in the name of winning a golf game against his brother, God. In A Demon and His Scot we get to see that game come to fruition and it was so much fun. Aella has been charged with finding the only person left in Hell who is good at playing golf to help Lucifer with his game. Niall has no interest in helping Lucifer, however he can’t help his attraction to Aella and together they attempt to decide if allowing their feelings to grow for each other is worth the risk, and if they can get Lucifer to win his golf game when he is just so bad at the sport. This was funny, hot and another great look into this fascinating world Eve has built. I loved it!
Lucifer continues his matchmaking efforts, this time with a golf-playing Scot and one of his female demon minions. And we get to enjoy the much anticipated golf competition between the various Gods and Deities. Hell is definitely a fun place under Eve Langlais's pen.
I enjoyed this story even though it was a little repetitive along the way. It has a lot of characteristics of the stories that came before but in a good way. The characters are all interesting and I wish some had more time in the story because they seemed like they could have brought a lot more to the story. The setting was well defined, especially since it was a place that no one could claim to know anything about.
Lucifer is up to his matchmaking tricks again. In this fast-paced and humorous jaunt into the bowels of hell, he has decided to make one of the more unlikely pairings to date. He is about the play a golf tournament with plenty of other deities and he really wants to win so he sends for the best golfer in hell, the Scot who swore off the game.
Lucifer sends Aella, his best hunter/tracker to bring the Scot to him. The skirt-wearing jerk won't cooperate however and Aella is not one to give up, she will deliver her target. Niall sold his soul to win the heart of a lady and it ended in betrayal. Can he take a chance on love a second time, can she risk her heart? Guess we will find out.
So I looked up this author and saw she has almost 60 titles out there. If each one of those is as the original as this book, I seriously wonder what playtime with her children must have been like. Amazing. Creative and seriously original. I read a few other reviewers who stated that this was just too much like the first books in the "Welcome to Hell" series, thus my review is coming from me starting at point, book 3. Basically, my review is a bit more on the virginal side.
Okay, for one, who knew Lucifer could be so likable. Not only did the devil himself seem to be a guy you would enjoy shooting back a few brewskies at the local pub, wit and comical attitudes of every other character, including the two lead MC's, was perfect. You can't help love each and every one of them.
It has been a while since I felt such sated after a book that I was starting to think that maybe I had read all there was out there to read. I am glad that was not true. This book is so original. Unlike some past attempts to read books of the fantasy epics novel kind, the over stimuli of graphic and visual adjectives often left me abandoning the book before the story could even begin. That or I found myself really bored with it. This book is not one of those. This writer has wonderfully created hell to simple comical and almost practical levels of accuracy. It is like she took Greek mythology, biblical references, and any other movie or other resource relating to and chewed them up and spit out a simplistic written description of what hell would be like. This world didn't stop at the front door either. From start to finish, she maintained the fascinating realm never letting you forget exactly where you were.
And then there was sex. Yep. Other books of this caliber usually cross my ipad at around 50 pages or less. Usually they are highly erotic with very little story to stick to. This one from the beginning had me curious as to how the writer managed 200 pages worth or writing material. Surprisingly, not once was there ever a repeated scene (well maybe the brief revisit to her psychic friend at the end) like ones where the lead MCs never leaves the home or dorm through the entire book almost. This book flowed... And flowed... And flow. Each scene, chapter was new and original.
This book is also not like some revamped, recreated, updated version of some fairy tale like Cinderella or Red Riding Hood. Again, this book it refreshingly ORIGINAL. I was surprised that it was even a part of a series (now to my utter delight). Funny as... well, how the saying goes, "Hell.”
I can't justify everyone’s opinions or likability for taste especially for this title but I can say that this was a book was seriously cleverly crafted in its entirety. I look forward to following up on the first two books and even have the curiosity to look into a few of her other series.
This book is a part of a series but if I had no knowledge of that (through the access of the super highway and Goodreads) I would have never known. It is a book that can stand on its own. She is now one of my top 5 self pub writers I will continue to follow.
*On A Side Note* At almost 60 titles and not seemingly slowing down, some publishing power house seriously needs to sign her up and find out just how many books she is able to produce at this level of quality and passion. She, in my opinion, would be worth investing in.
3.5 Stars Another good instalment to the Welcome to Hell series. I liked Aella, she was one of Lucifer's minion warriors and she was really good at her job. It was nice to see such a strong character who got the job done. Not too sure at times about Niall, I mean after a few centuries of not bathing and only one bar of soap got him clean, um eeww! He seemed a bit whiney at times. Not as many laugh out loud moments for me in this one and the declarations of love after 3-4 days were a bit annoying but otherwise a good read.
Absolutely loved this third installment of the Welcome to Hell series.
Satan is still playing matchmaker, this time pairing up Aella, one of his hunter demons, and a mopey Scot, Niall. Both were previously wronged by those they thought they loved. While Niall lost himself in a bottle, Aella took out her aggressions in carnage.
There's not much plot to this one other than the two of them verbally jousting then furiously scromping. Oh, and Satan sucks at golf.
If you're just looking for a hot & heavy read, this won't disappoint.
The first book was a no-go, the second book was awesome, this book was meh. I think I'm done with this series. Eve Langlais is very hit or miss for me.
I'm not even really sure why I like this series so much. It's silly little paranormal erotica, but it always makes me smile. I really enjoyed this one. I liked Niall and the Devil. Lucifer's golf tournament is finally here and he needs the Scot as his caddy if he's going to win. Even then it'll probably take a little judicious cheating. But of course Aella's got to go collect his ass and make sure the Scot shows up for his new job.
They're silly stories but I do really enjoy the Devil playing matchmaker. It's just absurd, but at the same time you know Lucifer really does like a little bit of love.
This is a fun little erotic series with entertaining characters. I wasn't a big fan of Niall - the way he talked and thought about women was really rather awful for the first half of the book. Aella is a kick ass female though and I enjoyed her. LOTS of sex in this one but some humor along the way as well. I really enjoyed Satan's golf game and it made me smile picturing it.
My least favourite of the series. Golf bores me in any shape or form. A huntress with an axe and a vampire scot golfer from the dark ages. Plenty of sex, a little humour and an arguing couple.
- The heroine is all I'm a warrior and all that since she used to be a creature from Greek mythology
- The hero used to be cool, but now he's just a normal vampire and all of that is for a stupid reason. He used to be a scary as hell mean laird to people who fought him but then he went all soft for a girl and sold his soul to be the best golfer in the world (like seriously who sells his soul to be a golfer?!!)
- Anyway because of the heroine and her disgust toward the hero he shapes up and starts to look better since when was the last decade he took a shower or shaved
- I liked Lucifer in here he was kinda cute with his puffed up chest and I'm the king and all that and at the same time he listens to his coach who is our hero and obeys XD
Oh my goodness! This book has it all! A dirty-minded kilt-wearing Scot is just the icing on the cake! Eve Langlais gives us another crazy installment to the Welcome to Hell series. Aella and Niall had crazy chemistry together and I loved their snarky banter. The golf tournament involving Lucifer, his older brother God and other deities was equally amusing!
I love how Eve Langlais's mind works! I would recommend this and any of her books. If you're looking for hilarious dialogue, nuclear sex scenes and easily likeable characters, you'll love A DEMON AND HER SCOT.
I try not to let grammatical errors bother me, but Argh!!! It was appalling how many spaces were missing, so there were 2, sometimes 3 wordsstucktogether, which was more bloody annoying than it should have been. The grammer in Eve's books is normally almost impeccable, so this crap was that much more shocking and annoying.
Now this installment of the series was still enjoyable, but the professions of love seemed forced. I kind of liked that these two jumped right to sex. It was hot and it fit their characters. My issue was that they barely had any meaningful conversations, so breaking out the I Love Yous kind of came out of nowhere.
A Demon and Her Scot was a cute little addition to the Welcome To Hell series from Eve Langlais.
Langlais always writes erotic books but I have to say that she dialed up the sex factor in this edition. The way that Naill and Aella spoke to each other was down right bawdy and lewd. They hump like bunnies throughout the book and have a saved by the bell ending. There's not much else to say about the book other than it's an easy way to pass an afternoon. Don't expect Dostoevsky and you'll be fine.
Satan needs to win the centennial golf tournament against his big brother God and some of the fellows from Olympus. He is such a duffer, even cheating won't be enough. He needs the help of the one soul in Hell that has sworn to never golf again, and if he gets to do a little matchmaking too, it only increases the fun! Another hilarious romp thorough Hell.
Omg I love this series. It has everything a girl could want. A sexy scot a devilish devil up to his mating tricks again. Hot as well! hell sex scenes. So much humor you wont stop laughing. Omg I'm in love with these characters especially Lucifer. I absolutely without a doubt highly recommended this series.
My favourite so far. Just loved it due to all the golfing analogies. Lucifer is still matchmaking but he also needs to win the golf tournament from hell, literally. Enter Niall a vampire, who made a deal with the devil over a woman, who then betrayed him. Aella, a lamia, one of Lucifers best huntresses, is the poor woman who has to go fetch Niall as Lucifer wants golf lessons. Unfortunately, Niall has sworn off the game for good and will do his utmost to keep away from Lucifer and his request/demand. The taunts these two threw at each other on first meeting had me rolling with laughter. Then Aella gave him a clean-up, oh goodness. Aella finally gets Niall to Lucifer after a harzadous journey to find she is now forced to be Nialls bodyguard. And the silliness kept on going. Aella was so funny with her attitude of suck it up. Once again a hugely fun read that gives us more of the antics of Lucifer and his denizens of hell. Loved the cheating going on in the golf tournament.
Worst book I’ve ever read. After he’s with his future mate sexually he goes to a brothel to screw another to forget her. She shows up and the only reason he screw her instead of the naked brothel worker is bc he couldn’t get it up for the whore. And aella still screws him! I hate this book and hate this male. The woman isn’t smart either letting him screw her when he wanted to screw the brothel worker and would screw anything he could get it up for. I can’t finish this stupid book and after reading this I’ll never read another book of yours and will advise all my paranormal romance friends not to either. We like mates and loyalty that comes with them. You have male mates that are the scum of the earth and not worthy. All manwhores. Disgusting n
Not a fan of the lead male character trying to bone someone else right after he has been with the heroine. That's just one of my issues with this book.
And except for the scene where they first meet, Aella isn't as much of a badass as the author tries to portray her. For some reason, it doesn't mesh well, seems forced.
I remember reading Even Langlais's books a few years ago, I didn't mind reading the Lion's Pride series back then, but I think I have outgrown this style of writing. I skipped through the intimate scenes trying to get to the story but there isn't much of that in this book either, so far it is my least favorite in the series.

This started off well. I liked that there was more description of what Lucifer, and Hell, looked like. I also really enjoyed the hero's and heroine's banter. And then they went straight for sex. And then somehow they're in love? What? I know it's a shorter book but they just moved way too fast. In lust - totally makes sense. Love? Nope.
So it has some good moments but mostly some sex scenes with some plot sprinkled around it. So not as good to me as the first books (first one to me is still the best). I've been intrigued by Felipe (who first appeared in book 1) so I will give the next one a try.
As I've said in previous reviews I absolutely love Lucifer in the series... this was a fun way to see the deities as playing golf and getting together, and I absolutely love that they find a way to cheat and that the devil just absolutely sucks at his golf game... and in the end he purposely goes out of bounds just so his little golf pro caddy can hit the ball closer to the whole so the Devil can put.. these series are great Novelas and a great read to keep you chuckling and possibly, maybe, wanting to punch the main hero in the face

I like this more than the second but less than the first, mostly because of the premise and the development. The thing that I struggled with was with the other two, it was conquering kind of their own personal faults, and the development and growth there. This one, the hero is the only one who has any development, and the heroine is impatiently tapping her foot at the finish line waiting for him to get there. Ehn. The premise, however, while not as entertaining as the first book, was still plenty fun. Sex was still fun though.
I give this one a 4.5 * rating. However, saying that, it's not stopped me buying book 4. I didn't enjoy this one quite as much as the first 2 as there was too much sex whereas I'd have loved to have had more of the good story. Quirky characters, check - I mean the devil is wonderful - also some new ones I'm hoping to catch up with further in the series - and some fab one liners. All-in-all another fab cheese fest :)
