What Time Is It and What Are You Doing?
4:42pm ET. Just finished reading Dust and Decay with tears in my eyes. Sorry, I know this is about zombies, but that Jonathan Maberry can write. I hate when bad crap happens to good people. I also can't maintain composure when another human being is in pain. I shed a tear ... or two. damn, i love mr. maberry :)

Been there, and done that. I graduated from grad school in 2011. I have TMJ as a result of all of the stress. Good luck with your program, and especially if you're writing a thesis. I took the thesis route, and if you ever have any questions, don't ever hesitate to ask me.
1:30 a.m., and I'm having a second dinner--like an insomniac hobbit. It's reheated steak, and cauliflower (I just figured out how to spell it!) with ranch dip. Just entered to win The Turncoat,
a novel about the Revolutionary War--which would be great research and inspiration for my historical horror story. Before that, I had a great (written) conversation on Skype with my daughter, and finished editing a technical report for my pastor's son. More such reports to come, I hope. Not as fun as editing novels, but it's money, and I wouldn't mind helping him out in the process. Today, I finished re-reading the children's picture books on salmon that were the only ones I could find at the library, because I use a migrating salmon as a metaphor in a story I'm working on. I also read some more of the book on Benedict Arnold. I'm not tired because I had coffee this morning after having also had a cup of black tea. It's still got me going, and has also given me a few stomach pains. But it sure did wake me up when I needed it, when I helped teach the 2 to four-year-olds at my church.
Sorry you're sick, Michelle. Hope you get better fast. I've been very blessed to not be sick in a long time, but I have gained weight recently, and my weight was steady for a long time. I am concerned that I could have serious health problems down the line, but I can't seem to change my diet or exercise situation in any big way. I know this night eating isn't good, but night is when I get hungry the most.
Dustin, I miss the group I met you in. It's been so long since I've seen any activity in it I forget what it's called... You know, the Christian horror one. It doesn't make me happy that the group appears to be dead. I was hoping to get some support there.
Continuing to wish you all a great 2013.
Thanks for the good vibes with grad school. My saving grace is only having one class right now ... next semester I'm planning to take two.
1:09 pm. Trying to promote my work so I don't have to be a starving artist anymore. Okay, I'm not really starving, but you get the idea. :)

Hi, it's 3:32 p.m., and I am feeling yucky and not feeling like doing much in particular, but I figured out I could listen to music on my computer as that doesn't take much effort and helps me feel a little better. I could have a touch of flu, but don't know. Have been so healthy lately it surprises me. If I felt a little better, might read more of The Dark Eagle or listen to one of the church sermons I missed. I have two free CDs of them. Got one because I was working in Sunday school and the other, from a day I messed up on the bus time and didn't make it, they gave me free because they didn't have enough change for my 20. Am bummed out and not sure what to do because my printer won't recognize its cartridges anymore. Was working fine until with the help of a computer-knowledgeable friend I found Malware, got my Windows XP up-to-date, and did some very thorough defragging. Comptuter faster--so fast, I stayed up all night the other night playing Sims Social on Facebook with few problems, finally getting the hang of the game so that I could keep it up that long and get ahead. But I need that printer so bad! Tried to arrange a ride to buy a new one, but not sure I can find one at a good price, and if this printer's not working because of what I did to the computer, a new printer might not work, either. So I want to try it out on another computer and see. I also have lots of things I need to print soon. So frustrated, wanted to go to a Willamette Writers meeting tonight and get away from it all, but so out-of-it I left a message asking a friend if he wants to go, forgetting that I'm sick.
Oh, well, at least I get to take it easy and listen to "Rhapsody in Blue," a favorite since my childhood. Wish my computer had better speakers. Now it's "An American in Paris." Did you ever see the Fantasia 2000 video of that song? I THINK it was Fantasia 2000. It was really cute.
Tummy, get better! Digestive tract, be well! Printer, work!
If I can relax enough, I'll get caught up on some of my sleep.
Ah, plugged the headphones in and the sound is better this way--I think. Take care, my friends. I'm off to Facebook to waste more time--uh, relax some more so my body can mend.

Please get well soon, Robin.

Its 3:27 and our internal inventory system and phone lines are down at work. Which leaves me little to do...sadly I cannot pick up my book. Will settle for resuming the audio-book of "Mockingjay".

It's 9:49 pm and I have uploaded my third ever YouTube video. I uploaded the first in January 2011 and the second in January 2012. I don't know why I only upload videos in January.
12:27am ET. Just finished reading Shock Wave and trying to figure out how long this latest bout of insomnia will last... :/
11:30PM And checking in. Sure to go to bed soon! Reading The Waste Lands, and so far it is really good! But I had no doubts!
Janie wrote: "11:30PM And checking in. Sure to go to bed soon! Reading The Waste Lands, and so far it is really good! But I had no doubts!"Glad you're enjoying Janie. I envy you, I'd love to be reading the DT series again but I promised myself I wouldn't do any re-reads this year. Can't wait to do them next year though :)
It's 8:09am and I'm so excited that my two-day migraine is gone! Finally I might have a pain-free day.

Don't get me wrong, I'm very thankful for every breath I'm given It's just that I tend to take myself far too seriously (or perhaps not seriously enough..) and am easily discouraged. I'm feeling slightly better now, though not by much. Thank you so much for asking, Alondra!

That is my mantra at work and at home. I am not a machine. I am human and will never be perfect. If someone can do it better, then be my guest. Life if too short. We all think you are great, book-brother :D
9:32pm ET. Sending care and hugs to Dustin. Thinking about how many eggs and sausages I can cook before i have to go to work, and if i will fall asleep before i get any pages read tonight... :D

But that means we are human, like Alondra said we are not machines. We are not perfect. You gotta just keep on keepin on is what I always say.
9:40PM and back on GR, still trying to read LOL I am getting some done. Its hard for me to start a book just before the weekend because I know that I will not be able to read much. LOL

Awww, you two are so very sweet!! Thank you very much for the kind words of wisdom. And I know that life's too short to take one's self too seriously, but I can't help it. I try my best, but my best never seems quite good enough.. you know?
I think you're great, too, book-sister!!
Thank you again, Janie and Alondra. I really needed to hear that!
It's 1:20 PM, and after reciprocating Alondra's hug, I'm feeling much better. I'm incredibly thankful for our friendship, too.:)
