Oh, I definitely plan on it, Holly!

Um, Black House for sure! I was going to last night, but by the time I finished the Atlas Shrugged chapter (which is very interesting, BTW,) it was starting to get late, and then Tanya and I watched TV until bed. I might just focus on BH, actually!
Do you plan on reading it this year? I highly recommend it. I think I like it almost as much as The Talisman (which, as you know, I am very fond of..)
6:59 PM. Been home for a few minutes, and about to do something quickly for work. Then, it's off to a pizza date with my sweet husband!
Holly wrote: "Yes, I'm hoping to get to it this year."
I'm very happy to hear that! It's pretty different from The Talisman, especially the way it's written, but I'm sure you'll love it.

I'm sure I will too. :-)

It's 8:37 pm, here in the islands. Just finished a group paper for school. Finally able to relax ... for a little bit.
10:15pm The kids are tucked in and my hockey game is over. I am relaxing on the couch with a glass of wine, about to re-enter The Waste Lands
10:21am ET. Cooked breakfast and drinking some coffee. About to try and finish up Murder on the Links since I finished Ghost Road Blues last night.
9:53am ET. Going on my 3rd cup of coffee and contemplating some things... mmmm. Think it is time to read a little more and finish Mr. Poirot today. Less than 100 pages to go :D
10:37 p.m just got done watching Downton Abbey and getting all sad, about to put the kid in bed and check the fire and then write a review.
It's 1:08pm and I'm at lunch updating my GR notifications and listening to Kill Me If You Can by James Patterson & Marshall Karp.
2:40PM Finished Wizard and Glass, now taking a short break from The Dark Tower series. I have some more buddy reads coming in Feb. decided to come chck out GR before I continue reading.
It's 7:26 PM and I am drinking coffee, and listening to The Beatles. I am taking a break from my "Take-advantage-of-a-snow-day-to-read" day (consisting of an entire day of reading).

It's 8:28 and I'm out of a very hot bath, post boot camp necessity sometimes. Now to pick up my kindle & cool down:).

Kristen wrote: "It's 7:19 pm and I'm watching NCIS. Sorting scrapbook pages from the year I lived in Thailand."You're so lucky that you got to live in Thailand for a year Kristen! Where were you living? I have a friend who works here in Australia for 6 months then spends the next 6 months in Bangkok each year. Last year my husband and I went to visit him and absolutely loved it - the food is to die for! We spent about a week in Bangkok then 5 days in Chiang Mai. We're hoping to go back again in September.
2.09 pm - taking a lunch break and hoping the rest of the afternoon goes quickly. I'm not really in the mood to be at work today :/
9:45pm Just finished watching a hockey game. Haven't read at all today, so I'm going to try to read a little before my eyes fall shut.

Wow, this sounds VERY cool, Michelle! Hopefully the two of you can go again soon. I've always wanted to visit the Orient, myself.

Michelle--I lived I. southern Thailand on the isthmus. Not too far from Phuket, town named Krabi. I've been 3 different times to Thailand & lots of other places in Southeast Asia. Love to travel!!!

Holly wrote: "It's 6:13 p.m. and I'm about to dive into some Edgar Allan Poe."Goody goody! I been exploring some classic horror myself here lately. Algernon Blackwood's story THE WILLOWS creeped me out!
4:39pm ET. Getting ready to bake some fresh salmon, and cook some rice. Finished the Scorch Trials and started A Dance with Dragons. I picked up The Giver, so i could have something short and sweet to read with ADwD, since that is a HUGE book. I can literally hold my door open with it. I also have A Tale of Two Cities sitting next to me as well. That is my chore book. I have a rule with plants and books. 3 tries and you are out, period!

I owned The Talisman for a year before I was brave enough to crack open its cover and begin reading it...I think that group read helped. :)
It's 2:01 and I'm sitting outside in the sunshine waiting for Johhny Trigg, The Godfather of barbecue, to finish teaching the master class. Then I will check all the "students" out. OT will be great!
