Christa Nardi | 21 comments A new cozy mystery, Murder in the Arboretum, will be released on 9/5 - if you are interesting in reviewing, I will provide a copy! Synopsis follows - if you're interested, email me at cccnardi@gmail.com!
Murder in the Aboretum (Cold Creek #2) by Christa Nardi
"Another murder in small town Cold Creek has tensions rising. Clive Johnson, the groundskeeper at Cold Creek College, is a convenient scapegoat for a police chief who seeks an easy solution. Convinced Chief Pfeiffe has it all wrong, professor and psychologist Sheridan Hendley sets out to help prove Clive's innocence. But not everyone is pleased by her enthusiastic search for the truth. Just as her life is looking up personally, it looks like she might be the next victim."

M.L. (margieee) | 10 comments Hi,everyone,
Okay, you’re struggling to provide for your three teenage boys. You take any after-hours job you can work when your 9 to 5 is over. Your best friend, Jane, helps whenever she can. Which is why tonight you are both cleaning a model home.
After scrubbing the upstairs bathroom, you find a naked body in the master bedroom. A dead man with a donut on his genitals. Not just any man. The contractor who once groped you. And not just any donut (but you’ll see if you decide to read my book.)
Jane is crying, the police are coming and in a moment of insanity you take out your cell phone for a photo op with the corpse. Now you have a handsome Hispanic cop suspicious of you. How do you get yourself out of this jam? As that same cop would say, “Al mal paso, darle prisa.” (“To bad steps, make them quickly.”)
That’s Maggie’s story in a nutshell. Would anyone like to read Turn Key Condition to get the whole enchilada? I’d love to have someone read and review my mystery novel and tell me if you think it’s a cozy or a chicklit or neither.
Turn Key Condition by M.L. Ortega Here’s the link to the Amazon product page so you can check out the description, a few other reviews and read an excerpt, should you be so inclined.http://amzn.com/B00LWHW2Y2
If after that, you’re interested in writing a review for Turn Key Condition, please send a request for the review e-copy to: mortega31@hotmail.com
Subject: Request for review copy.
Please tell me which format you’d prefer: pdf, mobi or Amazon gift Kindle version.
If you could give me a hint on the turn-around time for your review, I’d appreciate it but won’t hold you to a definite time.
And, thanks, GoodReads followers for your willingness to be guinea pigs.

Blair MacGregor (blairmacg) | 4 comments Hello, all!
I'm seeking reviews for my two dark/epic fantasy novels.

Sand of Bone is the most recent release. Sherwood Smith gave it the following blurb: "Searingly vivid, and grittily realistic, Sand of Bone slams the reader into a harsh desert world full of complex people, tense moral dilemmas, and an exhilarating jet of the weird. Do not start this one late at night!” It's available at Amazon if you'd like to read a sample.

Sword and Chant is an older release, but I'd still love to get some new reviews for it at any and all outlets. You can also sample this one at its Amazon page.

Both novels are available as epub and mobi.

If you are interested in receiving a free review copy of one or both novels, please email me at blair.macgregor@comcast.net and let me know which version you prefer.

Thank you so much for your interest!

Ryan Riley (lryanriley) | 1 comments Have recently released an ebook and I'd love to get some reviews/feedback on here and Amazon. Will provide copy. Here is the description:

If it were a real place, what would Heaven be like? Would it be the paradise we've all imagined since childhood? Would there be puffy clouds and angels playing harps?

Maybe at the beginning that was true, but since the first man arrived, things have gone downhill. If Heaven Were a Real Place tells intersecting stories about the lives of the people of Heaven as they navigate the complexities of a world as corrupt and hopeless as the one they left behind.

This is not a story of religion or a criticism of faith, but a dark exploration of humanity and how mankind could easily destroy paradise if given the chance. Go in with an open mind and a closed Bible because this isn't your Sunday school Heaven, this is the real Heaven, the one we ruined.

Here's the book. Let me know if anyone is interested in a free copy for a review.

M.R. Graham (mrgraham) | 21 comments I have an ebook free on Amazon, In the Shadow of the Mountains. It's paranormal/mystery, teenage protagonists but not necessarily YA. Currently free Amazon-wise only in the US, but it's also on Barnes & Noble, Kobo, iTunes, and Smashwords, or I can email files for whatever ereader.

In the Shadow of the Mountains by M.R. Graham

Short synopsis:
In the twilight of the year 2003, a stranger arrives in the tiny town of Burns, Colorado. Whispers begin to fly as bodies appear, savagely mutilated, throughout the neighborhood, and the responsibility falls on two monstrously unprepared high school students to uncover the truth before the undead can destroy their hometown.
For a prodigy and a sci-fi geek, adventure is not what they expected.

message 891: by Bob (new)

Bob Craton | 21 comments Fantasy & Sci-Fi Fans:

I actually would rather have people enjoy my stories than make money. That is why I write. Therefore, from now to the end of September, my books are available for free on Smashwords - https://www.smashwords.com/profile/vi...

You can get "The High Duties of Pacia," "A Princess of Fae," and "Jesika's Angel" all for 'reader sets the price' so just set the price at $0.00. (Note - "The High Duties of Pacia" contains all three volumes of that trilogy so you don't need the individual volumes which are also listed there.)

Please see my Goodreads page or Smashwords page for summaries and reviews. There are more reviews here on Goodreads than elsewhere.

Naturally, I would love reviews but you have no obligation to write one if you don't want to. The books are still free.

Again: https://www.smashwords.com/profile/vi...

Mark | 14 comments Hey Everyone,

I've just written a science fiction novel, The Rift Rider, and I'm looking for readers to provide an honest review in return for a free copy. I can send the novel as an epub file.

If you're interested please send me an email, riftwriting@gmail.com or a message on Goodreads (Mark J. Oliver)

Here's the blurb:

One night Charlie Scott, surfer and reluctant office temp, catches a wave and is whisked away to a distant galaxy.

He embarks on a quest to find Brother Yojim, the one man who can help him get home. But on his way, Charlie is swept into an adventure involving the planned destruction of an alien race, a mysterious global power called the Corporation, and a cast of extraordinary characters.

Equal parts science fiction thriller, romance and surf adventure, this is a story you’ll never forget.

Thanks
