I am probably more into Urban Fantasy, I'll read vampire but I like werewolves better, but if its something unique that's ideal. Some romance is nice but I'm sick of the whole alpha male thing, alpha male is great just maybe a unique one? I really like the mercy thompson books, and I liked bitten by Kelly Armstrong. I like some humor in my books as well. I don't mind if they are a bit dark although my humor might be on the macabre side, I love the Dresden files, the Nightside books, ect...

Not vampires or werewolves, but Georgina Kincaid is one of my favorite series . Kate Daniels is awesome too . I also love Chicagoland Vampires, but it is vampires lol .

You might try the Downside Ghosts series. It's definitely the most unique (and all-around best) new series I've read in a while.

Have you just read Bitten, or the whole Otherworld series? It just got finished with 13 and I loved all of them.

I just read an excellent book by Lauren Stewart. It is an Urban Fantasy but it has a good romance in it still. I absolutely loved it and the reviews are really good
